I discovered ANB baby when searching for baby stores in my area to seek advice for our baby registry and stroller. I saw great reviews online about ANB baby and called the store to inquire if I can come in for assistance. Maureen picked up the phone and said to come in anytime and she will help myself and my husband. ANB Baby is located in a shopping center with ample parking. The store itself is super cute with tons of baby gear, clothing and feeding needs. The back part of the store is dedicated to strollers. Maureen asked us what our needs were, when I was due and showed me each stroller while giving her expert advice. It was super helpful to see the strollers, work with them and fold them to see the ease and durability. Maureen also walked us through carseats for the infant and also throughout growth. Maureen's help was priceless and we are truly thankful for the time and information she shared about each of the products. It truly helped narrow down the search for what we were looking for. ANB Baby also has the capability of creating your own registry there or linking it up with babylist. It is nice for those who are local to come to the store and shop locally and see the products first hand. Highly recommend ANB baby! read more

Maureen goes above and beyond to make sure stuff gets done there. If you have a problem with anything, give her a call and she will personally see to it that it gets resolved ASAP. Let me be clear, this review is about Maureen, and not ANB Baby as a whole. Without her, I may have honestly given them 1-star, but she made up for the internet department's short-comings enough to earn a 5-star review, which is really saying something. I purchased online, and my order arrived with a significant defect. The internet department would go several days without a response by e-mail, so I called customer service and got to speak to Maureen. She made sure it got resolved as soon as I called her. She is the absolute best, and if you're having a hard time getting through to the internet department, give ANB Baby a call and ask for Maureen. I will 100% purchase from this company again, only because Maureen is on their team and I value good customer service more than anything else when making a big purchase. This place is not legit. They are unprofessional, and post products they do not carry--which is false advertisement, as another reviewer also complained about. They wasted two weeks of my time "pretending" to process my order. I had to reach out to them each time for a status update on a GB cup holder for my GB Maris, and would not receive a response for days! Their first excuse for the delay was, they were trying to reach me to confirm my stroller (which was a lie, they never emailed me), then they claimed they were waiting for a response from GoodBaby to make sure it was compatible--all LIES! It states on their own website the strollers which are compatible (see pic)!! I have personally contacted GB on several occasions, and they respond immediately.. so, I highly doubt these clowns running this store contacted anyone. read more

The 6+ seat base was missing leaving me unable to use the stroller for two months. I have chased this crap company multiple times and no one will respond. I was walking in Cherrywood shopping Center in Wantagh and noticed a new store. In the window was a beautiful display of baby items. Since I have 5 grandchildren all under the age of 4, I knew I had to go in and check it out. I was very impressed with the assortment items from Melissa and Doug toys, to mushie silicone cups, which my Daughter-in-law swears by, as well as Upper Baby strollers. I wish I had seen this store sooner. I was greeted by Robert as soon as I walked in the door. He was very friendly and answered all my questions. He was well versed with all the merchandise and helped me make good decisions with my purchases. No more going on line for my baby gifts and baby needs. Here's a short story of what I'm going through: 1) Ordered a piece they said was in stock in the next few days. 2) Got an email stating that was a mistake and it's going to be a couple weeks. 3) Back and fourth through email ended up saying to cancel my order, no response. 4) They proceeded to send it later. 5) Emailed every known email address they had, no response. Tried calling and it goes to a weird "no one is available" voicemail thing. Left a message. Nothing for days. 6) I received an email back after days had gone by. They wanted me to "refuse the shipment" and "give back to postman." PS: They know that it's been weeks since I've had it. 7) I asked if they could be a normal company and just send a label. Before my 2nd was born a few weeks ago, I removed and machine washed all of the cloth components. You walk into the store that is bigger than you expect from the outside and you're taken by surprise at all the amazing variety of merchandise they carry. Recently they have opened their second location right off of Sheepshead Bay Avenue, which is obviously "newer". But their original location is more close by and my preference. We purchased a Nuna RAVA in berry from Anb baby! We had been looking for the perfect seat for so long and are so glad we chose this one! I had previously been in contact with the owner and was so pleased when he let me know they were currently out of stock in the berry color but all others were available to ship that same day or we could wait 4-5 days for the berry color! We ended up going with the blackberry color and couldn't be any happier! It is a beautiful seat and got here super fast! I placed my order on a Monday and received it on that Friday via fedex! ANB Baby is the worst! Very unprofessional and insensitive to their customers even when they are clearly in the wrong! I ordered an item from them and the item they sent me was completely different from what was advertised on the website. When trying to contact them I was hung up on twice. After finally getting through to the Brooklyn store manager I was contacted by the online Department by email 2 days later only to be given a printable return label with no explanation...not even an apology for selling me an incorrect item! When I mentioned they had failed to apologize for their mistake the response I was given was that "they tried their best to rectify the situation". Still never received an apology and I am stuck with an item that I did not want because I do not have a printer to print the printable return label for the item that I would have never had to return had it been advertised correctly on their website! read more

I rented a hospital grade breast pump from them. The first one they sent did not work, had to be shipped back. The second one worked great and everything was fine. When I finished my rental period, I shipped back the pump. However, they still have not refunded me my $500 deposit and do not respond to my emails or phone calls. The store is kind of small and unassuming from the outside. Inside, the inventory is stocked the high quality strollers, car seats, toys, ect. The customer service was so much better than the big chains, I really only go to AnB. The most useful thing was having a salesman help me pick out a car seat based on the size and weight of the seat which I needed to move between cars. You can't imagine the difference in seats until somelone actually explains. Your best bet is to go to AnB first and save money by not making mistakes with your purchases. read more
