Zero stars. The "new girl" messed up our ticket and never put our order in. We were there for 50 minutes and left without being served any food whatsoever, even though we ordered appetizers and entrees A table of 10 locals who ordered after us were served first. Hole in the wall place, out of multiple food items. Don't waste your time. You'll probably get food poosioning and lung cancer from second-hand smoke anyhow. read more

Probably the best place to get food in the Trinity area as of this writing, Jan 2022. My family loves the burgers, they have a variety for sure. They do load it with Mayo, so if you don't care for Mayo just ask for it light or off. My wife likes the Chupacbra burger, my kids the Bacon Burger. They say half a lb, but they're bigger in person. I've had the Eddie, which is a fried bologna sandwich with all the Fixin's, the wraps and usually the Grilled Chicken sandwich. Fries are great! It is more of a bar feel, but I've no probably bringing my teenager there to play pool. It is very smoky, but most places like this in the area are. If you're not ok with smoke, I'd recommend take out. read more

Great food and service! Food always takes a bit to prepare but we know it's fresh so we don't mind at all!

Biker Bar. Mix of people from young to elderly. No hard liquor but they allow BYOB. OSB CEILINGS. Playing the machines you have to come back the next day to recover your win. Limited menu. Items listed for specials just aren't on the menu. If you want a beer and loud jukebox, this might be perfect for you. Would like to see improvements and general cleaning of the establishment. last few times we have ordered here the orders have been messed up, mustered on a burger that should have a onion ring and barbecue sauce(missing both of these things) (my burger should have had spicy sauce had just mustered) 3rd time in a row the order is messed up I won't be coming back!! small town small population you would think getting the order right would be important to keep people coming back! read more

This was durning the beginning of the COVID outbreak. I believe it was in March. I had a waitress that was rude to us/ ignored us and we waited an hour (think it was longer than an hour ) for our to go food, It was busy that night / they had karaoke and the place was full but we called ahead and made the to go order. We went inside to get it and it was not made. We sat at the bar and waited for it. This older lady at the bar (the waitress) not once did she ask us if we wanted a drink while we waited or said anything to us or even make eye contact with us! When we first came in I told her we were here to pick up our to go order and gave her my name and then she was done with me after that ha ha ! We were actually going to have a few beers while we waited but she never helped us and we were sitting right in front of her at the cash register. I tried several times to get her attention but she was clearly ignoring me !!! I was going to just leave but my husband said, they are busy we will just try and get a drink while waiting! That never happened and I watched person after person after person come to the bar and she waited on them gave them drinks etc and not once looked at me or asked if we wanted a drink! For as long as we waited I should have got a feee beer and free food! After patiently waiting over an hour, I finally had to practically grab her and ask about our food. To our surprise they had not even started making it! I was so angry! They threw it together quickly and we get home and the French fries were almost raw. Food was soggy and we had to just throw them away. It was the shrimp baskets, we got four of them and had to throw all of them away because I was afraid they were not cooked fully. I am a new resident to this town and it really seems like if she don't know you, you are getting no service or attention! This is sad but seems small town thinking, I must be an outsider! Or that's really how this waitress made me feel. The (Only, ONLY) thing that saved this place for me was the first time I went in there with my husband when we first moved here! Jessie! He was our waiter and he was amazing, friendly and made us totally feel welcomed. The chupacabra burger is what he suggested and it was amazing! I am all about supporting my local restaurants but I think the owner should do a training session with the wait staff on customer service for (all customers) local or not! read more

It's a bar, with good food. We are staying in town for a few days and stopped by for burgers. Burgers were good, reasonably priced and the fries were great! Service was good, food ready in about 15 min. I'd go back if we pass through town again. My only complaint is the smoking, but again it's a bar, so I shouldn't have been surprised at all. read more

4 stars mostly for the food. Service is fine though tends to be a little slow. It's a small place though so that might be why. I could do without the smoking inside, again as it is a small place it is hard to get away from and you leave with your shirt smelling like smoke. Despite having a 30.06 sign stating they make more than 51% of their revenue off alcohol sales, the food and service are superb. Sure their billboard states 'the best hamburgers East of the Pecos', anyone can claim the moon, this time it hit right on the mark. It is a bar, I sat with my 12 year old nephew on bar stools, but man, is the food right on. Add hand cut fries, also have hand made potatoe chips, the food equalled any of the haute quisine in H-Town. There are more people in my neighborhood than in the whole of Trinity County, so if they have to sell alcohol to support the restaurant, you cannot go wrong eating here. It is well worth the stop and feed. Menu items are limited to a burger shack, the chicken fried steak sandwich is great too. No shakes, but real brewed tea. Friendly, real people at this place. I am a 55 year old un-biased, man new to Trinity 11 years ago. Children of the corn comes to mind. I have been seeing the "Best hamburgers east of the Pecos" sign, for at least 1-2 years. My wife is out of town and I thought I would get a bacon cheeseburger w/ fries after reading a review of "how great their fries where!". It was a to-go order w/a 15 min. time. I picked it up on time and drove back to my house-15 min. away. I was quit hungry and opened the carton w/ anticipating some righteous grub. What greeted me was absolutely without a doubt, the worst, greeeeziest french fries I have ever seen/ tasted. I ate two. Limp, soggy and SAD to the tenth power(fryer not hot). The burger was cooked to perfection. The ingredients, fresh. The bacon was crisp but tough. I could not taste any onion if it was present. The burger was placed on the bun, and by the time I ate it 15 min. later, the bun was completly flat and grease soaked. I placed my order on a Tuesday at 5:pm. When I walked in, one of the 4 patrons went out of her way to stare at me, very uncomfortable. Along with Trinity Cafe, I will NOT be coming back. Dairy Queen is the best so far. I desperately wanted a GOOD burger and fries, this is not worth the $8.81 I paid + $2.00 tip. I will not be going back. Typical of the Trinity experience. read more
