I eat them all by themselves. I haven't tried his home canning YET but certainly plan to. When I've gone by there is always SOMEONE raving about his canned goods (especially his candied jalepanos - but I'm a whimp when it come to hot stuff). You'll have to get on his website to find out where he's at because he travels from place to place. I found him at the Helotes Market Days (1st Sat of every month) and at The Legacy on Sundays. It's certainly worth tracking him down. When you see him ask about getting an entry form to win an iPad. He's part of the co-op Revive America Today and they are giving some lucky customer an iPad to be given away at the Helotes Market Days in February 5th.

Please note this is not exactly a farmers market... I don't recall seeing any fresh fruits and vegetables or maybe there were some and I just didn't notice. There are others mainly business class or tourists but they stay at Hotel Emma and definitely have money, or their employer's corporate card. Then there are the real carb eating customers who are there to actually consume goods. I finally had a free weekday to go to Pullnam now two years after they opened and loved my experience. Parking in the Pullman market was easy. It really is $0 with validation and for up to 2 hours. I was looking for ground flax, they only had whole. Looking for cinnamon infused honey, they did not have. Just weird shit like lavender infused. I enjoyed the elevated feel of the place, very transporting and nicely curated with so many spaces in and out doors to sit and people watch or just hang out with friends. Ate at Fife and Faro for a simple pizza and pomodoro pasta.

Usually Wagyu is known to be juicy and moist, but this tasted nothing like that caliber. It was disappointing but at least not very pricy. Fries were okay but pretty chopped up and not the style I prefer. Some of the other places looked promising like the ice cream and cafe. The poke/ceviche also sounded good on paper but when we walked by (maybe around 1.5-2 hours before closing), the quality of the raw fish didn't look too great and was a little discolored so we passed. It was a little hot outside so it was nice to be able to rotate between both areas. There was also such a great mix of stores, restaurants, snack stands, and artisans and crafts throughout. We grabbed some aguas frescas to sip on while we explored and they were delicious and a great price for how big they were. We had a big breakfast but it would be nice to try some of the many lunch spots they had throughout the market. The stores had everything but I loved the amount of talavera pottery to choose from and stocked up as much as my suitcase would allow. Prices are super reasonable as well considering these are handmade artisan pieces. I use my tazas everyday and they are the best coffee cups I have ever had. The merchants are super friendly and helpful as well. Everyone was very welcoming and made it a great experience. I hope to be back in the future!

We went on a Sunday so it was not crowded but it was BORING. My 16 year old called it Lame and the best part about Market square for both of us was the caricature guy. I've waited many years to visit the place and wish I would have left it on my to do list. I'm sure it's really pretty at night but I was bored and Underwhelmed.
