Great spot to stroll through and perhaps pick up some homemade stuff, jewelry, handbags, etc. Tons of different vendors selling their goods. I'm sure they have something for everyone. As for me, I actually didn't buy anything. I was very selective in my purchases that day for some reason. I spent no more than 30 minutes walking through it. Please note this is not exactly a farmers market... I don't recall seeing any fresh fruits and vegetables or maybe there were some and I just didn't notice. Most of the vendors were selling non-food items. Do check for the days they are open. If you're looking for specialty items, this may be the spot for you! Happy Market Days!

The staff was another highlight. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, which made the entire experience even better. The fries deserve a special mention as well. The amount you get for $5 is next level and one of the best values I came across during my trip. Burgers By The Butcher has officially earned a spot on my San Antonio food list. Anytime I'm back in SA, stopping here will be a priority.

The mediocre review is for the "Burgers by the Butcher" place towards the end of the store. The Wagyu burger sounded really good and had good reviews, but it was really dry and not very flavorful. Usually Wagyu is known to be juicy and moist, but this tasted nothing like that caliber. It was disappointing but at least not very pricy. Fries were okay but pretty chopped up and not the style I prefer. Some of the other places looked promising like the ice cream and cafe. The poke/ceviche also sounded good on paper but when we walked by (maybe around 1.5-2 hours before closing), the quality of the raw fish didn't look too great and was a little discolored so we passed. It was truly one of the highlights of my trip and I would highly recommend visiting to anyone in the area, and I hope to go again in the future! The parking nearby was a short walk but nothing crazy, and once we got to the Market it was shaded very well and had such a variety of stands both inside and outside of the buildings which I loved. It was a little hot outside so it was nice to be able to rotate between both areas. There was also such a great mix of stores, restaurants, snack stands, and artisans and crafts throughout. We grabbed some aguas frescas to sip on while we explored and they were delicious and a great price for how big they were. We had a big breakfast but it would be nice to try some of the many lunch spots they had throughout the market. The stores had everything but I loved the amount of talavera pottery to choose from and stocked up as much as my suitcase would allow. Prices are super reasonable as well considering these are handmade artisan pieces. I use my tazas everyday and they are the best coffee cups I have ever had. The merchants are super friendly and helpful as well. Everyone was very welcoming and made it a great experience. I hope to be back in the future!

Unfortunately, the vendors' food was underwhelming and expensive. I was coming from California and was excited to compare Mexican street food in Texas, but the options were very bland. Esquites - $12, 5 street tacos - $18, Chicken Gorditas -$11, Agua Fresca -$10 I did enjoy looking inside the markets (don't forget there are 2 different buildings for you to do your shopping). You can find some inexpensive souvenirs mixed in with some of higher price points.

Fortunately today there was a community yoga class (Swift Fit Events), plus a succulent class (East side succulents). This allowed us the opportunity to explore and enjoy the property. We brought our mother along to enjoy, and she quickly made friends. There is a lovely market filled with fresh produce, plus other local goods. Everyone was friendly, and helpful. The restrooms are very accessible, and clean! So happy to have this precious gem in Austin! Thank You
