Window on the side of the building for ordering.

Although the service was friendly & efficient I was disappointed that Milltown Ice Cream does not serve homemade ice cream, instead there's a large menu of selections from Jack and Jill. This is more of a commercial brand rather than homemade and just does not have that creamy richness to it. We ordered from the window at the side of the building. There are a few seats on the front and some picnic tables behind the parking lot in the back. I think the picnic tables belong to the adjacent park. I had peanut butter ripple and my husband had coffee. It was just okay.

CASH ONLY! Milltown Ice Cream Depot has been a sweet staple of mine for many many years. You can find unique flavors here and they serve generous scoops of delicious ice cream at very reasonable prices. My personal favorite is the peanut butter ripple! The ice cream isn't too overly sweet either which I appreciate. They definitely don't skimp on the scoop sizes and the baby/small scoop (1 scoop/1.5 scoops) would be more than enough for most people! There was a line on a weeknight, with the wait around 10-15 minutes, which is typical when the weather warms up. There were only two employees working the shop. There's also a small parking lot in the back and a couple of benches out front to enjoy your ice cream.

Milltown Ice Cream Depot is a small ice cream joint with big flavors! The ice cream is very high quality which never disappoints and their prices are very reasonable! It's a must try for locals! Their lines get pretty long on the weekends and at nights so be sure to go early!

A community ice cream shop where you can always find a flavor you'll love. This was our first time visiting this ice cream shop. This is a new location on Main St. for this store. They have a nice variety of ice cream flavors and italian ices. You can order the usual treats, including sundaes, banana splits and milk shakes. They offer both cones or cups The staff is very friendly and service is quick. The portions here huge. There are couple of benches outside.

One of the best Ice cream places I know. They recently just changed locations to a shop. The shop can only hold a couple of groups of people and there is only about 3 or 4 tables inside for people to sit at. The parking is behind their store. Ice Cream: They have tons of flavors that are all delicious. I usually go for cookies and cream or any of their cheese cake flavors. Mint cookie was really good and sweet caramel pretzel was good as well. A baby size should be enough for 1 or 2 people. It's a lot of ice cream, trust me. This place is the most worth it for the price and what you get.

This was the go to hang out place for me and my friend's during our college summers, and for good reason! Awesome prices and awesome ice cream. Food: There are so many flavors that you can choose that you will most likely find something that you would enjoy. I usually get Mint Chocolate Chip and/or Strawberry Cheesecake. The flavors I get usually aren't too sugary and are pretty unique. Environment/Service: They used to be near the Milltown train tracks, but they recently moved across the street to an indoor building. The inside seating is a little limited, but there's also spots in front you can sit and a park behind the building for when the weather is nicer. The servers are all really nice and friendly with helping you pick out flavors. Price: This is where this place really shines. For three dollars, you get a monstrous serving of ice cream. I haven't been to anywhere else that gives you this much ice cream for this low of a price. Overall: This has always been a staple for me during the summer, and I don't see it changing as long as I'm around the area. This place has great ice cream for great prices.

My all time favorite ice cream place! Super reasonable prices and big portions. The flavors are so good. I usually order a baby size and it's so filling. My go to flavors are green tea and espresso chip.

    Small depot with big flavas!

A short walk later, I found myself at Destination Dogs, a place I had seen in photographs that suggested capaciousness. In reality, it is smaller.  This is not a complaint, just an observation.  I remember once hearing something about the contents of small packages. At 12:30 the place was full. Packed with humanity and appetite. I was seated quickly, as if someone had anticipated my hunger in advance. From the bar came the sound of construction crews discussing their midday rituals. Apparently this is where they come on Fridays, to repair themselves while they repair the city. It explained everything. Service was swift and attentive, a minor miracle given the crowd. I began with a Scotch egg, an item that seemed to have wandered in from another story entirely. I ordered it for that reason. I had always imagined my first Scotch egg would be eaten in an English pub under low ceilings and older regrets. Instead, here it was. Perfectly crisp, warm, and generous. The universe does not ask for permission. Then came the main event. The menu is an atlas of hot dogs. Domestic. International. Proteins in tube form arranged like possibilities. There is even an invitation to build your own, which I accepted. I attempted to recreate a favorite from Crif Dogs, a thing called the Spicy Redneck. Bacon wrapped dog. Pickled jalapenos. Coleslaw. Simple in theory. Destination Dogs improved upon it in every way that matters. The bacon crisped with purpose. The jalapenos spoke clearly. The coleslaw behaved. The hot dog itself seemed proud to be there. All of this, plus a 16 ounce beer, cost me about twenty five dollars with tip. A small price for order in a chaotic universe. Five stars. Not because perfection exists, but because this comes close enough to make the argument.

Listen, I have no real complaints. The food was great. The service was great. The atmosphere was…read moregood. But I am a fan of constructive criticism. I had the Gandolfi. It was delish but it could be improved with more or larger pepperonis. Also the sausage to bun ratio was off. Either make the sausage bigger or the bun smaller. Bottom line, you'll enjoy your food and beer.

I walked in on a rainy Friday night shortly after 10pm and it was freezing cold on the inside. Shreya was working the register and was extremely present and nice to speak with. I asked for her recommendations and of course she suggested the burger. I took her up on that option and ordered a bacon cheeseburger. She said the fries were also a must. I was extremely hungry, so I also ordered the Chicken Club Burger, crispy instead of grilled. She asked me if there was anything else I needed and I jokingly said a side of heat. She checked with the other patrons inside to see if they were cold along with Jenn who was working and they concurred as well. Within minutes she was on the phone with the owner who quickly addressed the issue by cutting on the heat. A few moments and I could tell things were warming up. Now onto the food. Everything was hot. The burger was delicious, but nothing was too special. The fries were seasoned well and had a spicy sauce to go with them. The Fried Chicken club was AMAZING! By far the biggest chicken sandwich I had ever eaten. The chicken was juicy. I could taste the cheese and the bacon. The chicken was way bigger than the bun. I wish I had ordered two. Overall I had a fabulous time here. The seating area was clean. Customer service was excellent. They made sure I was taken care of. The food is good. If I'm in the area again id definitely stop by.

First, staff is super -super nice!! helpful when trying to decide what to order. Mini Me and I both chose three tacos carne asada with the smokey roja sauce. Hubby had the same but as a burrito. For the sides we had chips and guacamole and the Mexican street corn. Drink were Horchata (Obviously). Tacos and burrito were stuffed, and absolutely delish. They have a self serve salsa bar with the three salsa, the smokey roja, salsa verde and habanero. Let me just say I tried all three- fantastic heat to flavour ration and I poured the habanero on my tacos so good! in fact the smokey roja with the salsa verde is a great combination !! Seating area outside is much larger than inside, we sat inside at a table that had just become available- they do a super brisk take out business and we didn't wait very long for our food to be ready. In fact, my husband and Mini-Me - all three of us, agreed we would for sure make the drive again to have tacos here!! If you are in the area or at school near by- you have to come here at least once, to try the food. I paid for my hubby since he was not my +1 and his meal was about $16. so that in itself is very very reasonable for the amount of food you get.
