Matcha latte and Lemon Black Tea
    Raina

I got the matcha latte and lemon black tea! They were great, definitely ask for more sweetener if you like your matcha sweet because it doesn't come sweet. The black tea was super refreshing! They have a big variety of the cream puffs, and they also have bubble waffles, which I tried and really liked! The service here is great and my drink was ready and under five minutes, both of them combined! The place is very calm and a lot of people are sitting here and they were working so it's not very loud at all. It's a perfect place to come and study.

The vanilla cream puff was packed with vanilla cream and would definitely recommend. The matcha soft serve has an authentic matcha taste and is not overly sweet. Overall, pretty good. Would be back to try more items on the menu.

Ooooo this vanilla filling was so perfect like melted ice cream

Heaven in a box. My son raved about this place and brought me a vanilla cream puff. What a delightful taste experience! It came home in a super cute box. I opened it and it looked great. Almost like a cream filled donut but oh..when I cut it in half, the cream slowly came out. It was light and reminded me of melted vanilla ice cream. The crust was soft and not flaky or crumbly - a nice soft but firm enough texture. Would love to try more flavors.

Super cute cafe located in plainsboro plaza mall. Came in on a warm day craving ice cream and got the taro/coffee swirl soft serve. Place was relatively empty and the guy that took my order was super friendly and answered all my questions patiently The soft serve was huge, I'd definitely recommend sharing with someone but it was really refreshing and delicious. Taro kind of reminded me of cereal milk and paired well with the coffee which was slightly bitter Have to come back and try the cream puffs!

Cute little Cafe in a strip mall along with an Asian food market, pho today restaurant, pizza place, and much more. I was excited to see that they had black sesame soft serve as that flavor is hard to find in NJ. They also have cream puffs!! Firstly, the cream puffs are amazing! We tried the matcha flavor and the strawberry flavor. The cream is light and fluffy, which reminded me of cool whip consistency. Also not too sweet either which I loved. The matcha flavor was light and could be a bit stronger. The strawberry one was my favorite. Strong strawberry flavor that kept you wanting more. The cream puff itself was also very light and not heavy so you weren't left with that uncomfortable feeling afterwards. Moving onto the black sesame soft serve. This was a bit too sweet for my liking. It was like eating a spoonful of sugar with every bite! It might go well with the bubble waffle though, but by itself was definitely too much. Service was very friendly everything looked well cleaned and tidy. Overall, I would go back to try their other cream puff flavors as well as the bubble waffle and drinks.

Shuu Cafe is a hidden delight! The bubble waffles are freshly made to order, and absolutely fabulous - crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The combination of warm waffle, cold ice cream, and crunchy toppings is phenomenal. They also have beautiful cream puffs, as well as tea and coffee drinks, both hot and cold. Aside from the food, the space is bright and airy with ample seating. I'll definitely be going back soon!

Been to this place since opening and love has it has grown to become a spot to visit for a treat or have a coffee while on my laptop. The display case looks sparse but that's probably because many items are made/served to order, like waffles and ice cream. The service is always pleasant and chipper. It might be more cozy with darker hues in decor because the space is large and bright, but otherwise it's great!

Both the Earl grey & matcha cream puffs are very good, not too sweet, plenty of cream filling inside. Spacious & various seating. Easy parking at strip mall. Recommend.

When I am in the area this is my go to for something sweet but not too sweet. I love the strawberry puff is so light. I usually bring some back home and they get eaten in less than 1 hour. The tea is perfect combination to make this trip complete. They have WiFi which is perfect if you want to get work done. Tables are available inside. Service always has always been great. Is located in the shopping center so parking surplus is available.

Staff are nice. Classic, but adorable East Asian-inspired decor. Not only do they have boba, but very unique desserts/treats like giant cream puffs of differing flavors, cakes, and soft serve! Got the matcha + black sesame soft serve, which ended up being a wonderfully smooth texture and not overly sweet. Would be a cute date spot

Black sesame soft serve had a strong back sesame flavor which was good cause sometimes places just taste like vanilla Lemon cream puff with the sugar top reminded me of fruity pebbles. I would get this again but eat it right away. We were too full from dinner so we kept it until the next morning. The bottom became soggy

Such a cute spot! Tried a create your own bubble waffle with black sesame ice cream, strawberries, and mochi bits, as well as the passion green tea - both of which were delicious! The egg waffles were chewy with just the right amount of crispness when you first bite into it and it goes well with the soft serve. I look forward to trying the other flavors! The tea was great as well. There is a good amount of seating and there are some outlets available. Wifi is available as well. Service was quick.

Can't go to Princeton without getting Thomas Sweet…read more It was great in the 80s and is still great now. You come here for blend ins, the cream if freshly made and good on its own but get a blend in. It's why they are famous. Amaretto ice cream with Heath bars. Amazing. Blending Heath bars is so underrated. Chocolate cookies & cream with Reese's peanut butter cups was fantastic. Going cookies & cream is like getting a second blend in for free - don't tell anyone. There are two other very good ice cream spots in Princeton and a third new one that looks interesting but if you are getting just one don't miss out on Thomas Sweet. Small seating inside, fun carnival mirror that makes you look short and fat (not ideal before getting your ice cream) - plenty of benchs outside. Service always friendly.

Though we live several states away, we still go to TS's every time we're in Princeton. The ice cream is good, but not great -- we get our best ice cream in Narragansett, RI. BUT the blend-ins are the best anywhere. TS's has machines that evenly blend in items like heath bars or M&M's into your ice cream which results in unique flavors tailored to your liking. It's a treat like no other, and the only reason to go to TS's. It's literally a waste of your time to go to TS's and get anything other than a blend in. We kind of feel sorry for people that don't get blend-ins. The current owner, however, could do a better job keeping the place cleaner and neater, and making some capital investments to spruce up the shop and repair the middle blend in machine. There's a run-down feeling about the shop that was never there the first few decades that we were going to the shop. This is a local gem and we will still go as often as we can -- indeed, my wife and I keep a frequent visitor card and use it all the time.
