I asked her for her opinion and what items to get and she really didn't provide much help. But other than that, this was a good experience. I ended up getting three items including a Nutella danish, a cheddar-chive scone, and a piece of their pecan bread pudding. All of these items were delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed each one! The pecan bread pudding was great, it wasn't too sweet and the texture was perfect. I just wish it was warm as it was given to me cold. Next time I get this I might need to heat it up in the microwave at home. It didn't include too many pecans, but the cinnamon flavors were great, I would recommend this. The Nutella danish was more reminiscent of a croissant with Nutella on top. This was still good as the dough was quite buttery & flaky--just as it should be. There was the perfect amount of Nutella and I thought it was nicely balanced. The cheddar-chive scone was by far my favorite! The scone was dense, buttery, and had great texture & layers. The cheddar was subtle, but still very much present. I was very impressed with the scone and would highly recommend ordering one. It was easily one of the best scones I've eaten and shouldn't be missed! Overall, I am glad I finally made it out to BakerBaker and can easily say it won't be my last visit. The selection of pastries is awesome and you can easily get something different every time you go. Their menu appears to change daily/weekly too. Each pastry is priced at $4. I will say some pastries vary in size, making this price less justifiable. For instance, one of the other bread pudding varieties was about half the size of the one I ordered and priced the same. All the pastries I tried were delectable and I was satisfied. As I stated above, I thought the service, particularly the women ringing me up, could have been more pleasant. I would say this is a solid bakery for Gainesville, with the scones being the standout. This is certainly no French bakery, but it will definitely satisfy and sweet cravings you might have!

Unfortunately, the delivery driver left them outside in the extreme heat, and they were completely ruined by the time we got home. I called the store, and although it was a third-party delivery issue, they asked me to come in the next day with photos and the receipt. That's when I met Heaven. She listened, understood the situation, and made everything right without hesitation. More importantly, she treated us with genuine kindness. During an already difficult time of grieving, her compassion and heartfelt apology meant so much. That level of empathy and customer service is rare these days. Heaven turned a frustrating experience into a positive one, and I am so grateful. Heaven, thank you for your empathy, your professionalism, and your kindness. Sometimes cupcake shops will offer but so many get one free but this shop doesn't do that. Instead they do have a reward point service. For every dollar you spend you get a point. Once you get to 100 points it's redeemable for a cupcake or another item up to $5. The cashier was super friendly and patient with me while I decided.
