I have allergies so I was very encouraged to hear his conditions got a lot better from his frequent visits to Saltwonder. He also informed me how down to earth and nice the owner Naculae is so I was curious. I took one of my best friend Stan who lives not too far from his shop for a one hour treatment, and was blown away by the wonderful grounding experience. My friend was so relaxed he started to snore a bit, I went into my own meditation. An hour went by very quickly, and I noticed my nose was no longer plucked when our session was done and my breathing was way easier. The place is extremely clean and beautiful, and floor to ceiling covered in Himalayan Salt which Naculae educated us on it's incredible healing properties. The main room floor was covered in small Himalayan salt as well. It was an incredibly healing experience, physically, emotionally, spiritually. I would highly recommend anyone who is interested in trying come and visit and experience it yourself. My friend loved the experience, it was my Birthday gift to him. He was pleasantly surprised by it, since it's not something he would do on his own. I am looking forward to attending sound healing events there as well as getting a massage there next time!

We've always had Lianne as a our therapist, and she's wonderful--her whole demeanor is chill. The last time, I called to inquire about infrared therapy (since it's listed on their service menu on Google). Lianne wasn't sure about the infrared treatments so she said she'd investigate and call me back. And SHE DID. I really appreciated the follow up. (Note that this treatment is not currently offered.) The spa is down some steep stairs so take your time if you have mobility issues. There is a bathroom upstairs that you access with a key. And the spa itself is small. Just a tiny waiting room and one massage table that I know of. Prices are reasonable and lots of hot towels are used. Highly recommend!

Street parking is available. They take debit and cash, (not sure about credit cards). About tipping, they are a Spa and not a Medical Center. It's pretty standard everywhere for how they operate is to tip like a salon/ resteraunt etc...minimum $10 an hour.Ex: 1.5 hour, minimum $15 and so on. Bring cash for tips. So to those who are surprised about tipping culture, this lesson is for you. I've had my favourite massage therapist remedy my tired shoulders, golf elbows, etc.. To those who find the acupressure too strong but still want to finish your session, tell your massage therapist to use oil for the remainder time (that is more Swedish in style). Relax on!

Once I got there, I had to fill out paperwork (more than what you have to fill out online), and was shown the ladies changing area. This is where you'll find the only amenity in the spa, which is the steam room bath. The steam room bath was probably the best part of the experience as you can sit in it for however long you want. I opted for the 50 minute U massage (designed by you), which was fairly pricey $147. The waiting room where you wait for your RMT was so basic; just tables and chairs - not very comfortable or relaxing. I wanted some tea but they ran out of hot water and there wasn't anyone around to get more. My RMT, Catherine was amazing, and did a great job. My only concern was that my glasses were in my robe and they move your robe on top of you once the service is over. I honestly don't think I'll be back for the price that I paid I'd rather go to the Willowstream Spa in downtown.
