The studio has a great atmosphere, from the bamboo floors to the chiming fountain that greets you as you walk in the door. Ananta has created a real yoga community, where the teachers know your name and the students know each other. Beginners and seasoned yogis will both find themselves at new places in their practice after a few classes at Ananta. They also hold specialty workshops for beginners, lower back problems, knitters, and golfers. We have had a great experience so far. Swim classes are run very well, our girls enjoy them and are progressing. We had previously be been part of another swim school and did not have a great experience and the instructors didn't know our children well which disabled their progress. Here, the girls have a relationship with their teachers and we see how well they do each class. Dave/Suzana in the office are terrific also when it comes to all swim related questions. Front desk staff as you enter are very friendly--have always answered my questions well, we very much appreciate having a face there on weekends. The youth theater is terrific and it's so nice having their shows to see with young children in the area. Highly recommend! This summer, we are looking to join their camp for the first time and are very excited to give it a try! We're heard great things.

Since the status of the location was unclear when I was leaving, I had given written notice of cancellation in September of 2025. Upon return I saw the monthly charge posted to my credit card October, 2025. (I was out of town from October 2-November 6) Rather than seeking a refund I thought the membership team would honor that payment and allow me to use the Wyckoff Y facility for the next 3 weeks. (I wanted to see if I enjoyed the gym and the people running the facility). I thought I would eventually continue my gym membership in the Wyckoff location. The attitude of Mary in the membership department was less than pleasant and challenged my written cancellation. She said she would try and find the document. subsequently she had the front desk girl call me and state they would not honor my request.

Subjective : toxic culture…read more Objective: Advertise a winter show to which a deadline is set. I did not bring up winter show to my children because it was not my original plan. My child (6) states it was brought up to them during their scheduled class and that they really want to do it and asked me to sign them up Prior to deadline I responded to which I was met with the reply they were "out of costumes" There was no plan on how to include all those interested There was no plan to improvise. My child came home crying upset I was told she was offered a tissue and a hug. If you're going to invest your money, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. You can see their response on Google. Defending themselves but never care once about the child.

I was looking for a regular temperature yoga studio in the area that is offering in person classes…read moreand tried Nirvana. I went to a few classes and I love it. I took class with Nicolette and Carrie, but it looks like they have a lot more instructors. I bought a package here because of the value. The cost of the last studio was about 25$/class, whereas here it is about 15$/class. I may have been intimidated if I knew the classes were going to be an hour an 15 minutes, but the time flew. The instructors seem very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful but I admit, I don't have a lot of experience or knowledge about yoga and am happy to be able to follow along and given guidance on the poses. I recently started yoga because I would like to increase my flexibility and learn to control my mind. I was very surprised about how much of a full body workout it is. I am sore in muscles that I didn't realize I had. Nirvana offered in studio as well as virtual sessions and different types of memberships to accommodate your needs. I was able to download the app to purchase a program and set my schedule. The staff is very friendly. The studio is very clean. it looks like they have a a lot of options for classes in studio or virtually.

I would happily have given them 5 stars, but construction workers on the roof (not the studios fault) during the class hammering away and the staff in the front room (the walls are thin) talking and such during a class devoted to peaceful meditation made it hard to concentrate. Otherwise I would be happy to return!
