Even though I moved from Midlo to Hanover I still make the trek because Sherri has always given me perfect haircuts.

The current price shows $31. For a while now have been setting appointments with Bri. The most recent haircut she walked me up to counter so attendant can charge for my haircut, and she can get to her next appointment. I was charged $36! I asked why and was told "she" now charges $36. Bri and never stated that and never had been charged more than what has been displayed over the years going there. I paid the ridiculous price, plus tip, and left. No worries, by two boys will stop going there as well. It's all about the principle and not disclosing upfront. Already found another location that charges 1/3 less and does a better job.

I stopped her to tell her but she said "see I started by your ears so it's low". I like to keep my hair longish (4-5 inches) on top but we had to trip part of it down so that it did look like my hair was falling over a shelf. She cut me multiple times and scraped up the side of my head with the trimmers from pushing so hard. She hard enough that my neck is fatigued from holding my head steady and my neck ended up craning to the side. I had to adjust the angle of my head multiple times because of it. It was almost the same pressure as the barbers used when shaving my head for basic training. Multiple employees swarmed me at checkout asking questions about it and wanting to take pictures on their phones. My big issue is that I expressed my desire, which they confirmed, objected to the way they were doing it, and despite their reassurances that they "know" what they are doing, it still ended up bad. If you care how you look and want a barber who listens to you, do not go here. Edit. Showered and air dried my hair while chilling at home, it is so much worse now!

Sports memorabilia on the walls and ESPN on the TV. It is not a true, old school barber shop. Despite what a previous poster said, this place does NOT do straight razor shaves. Again, they do not have barber's licenses therefore they cannot shave you. It is EXPENSIVE. $18 for a mens haircut. $16 for a kids haircut. A bit on the pricey side if you ask me. That $18 is, again, just for a haircut - not a haircut and a shave. Price aside, the haircut was decent and the staff was friendly. There are less expensive an equally good places to get your haircut in the area. If you want a true, old school barber shop, this is not it. If you want a decent haircut and don't mind paying $18 for it, this is your place.

(Not a pleasant atmosphere for me and my Hispanic partner) Also the barbers didn't know what a Drop Fade is... that should of been another sign to find another place. I even had a photo of the fade pulled up and this is what I got. My fade isn't even nor is it close to what I asked for. To top it off their equipment is very old and not taken care of, my hair kept getting pulled and I kept getting stabbed with the clippers. So if you have tough skin and don't mind terrible service this is the place for you.
