If any of you out there have ever been stationed in Korea at one time or another, you probably got your hair cut by an older Korean woman who smelled of kimchee and cut your hair in record time. Nine times out of ten they had a pet dog, always a smaller breed, in the shop keeping an eye on the comings and goings. Stepping into K Barbershop is like that. Older Korean lady (although if you've been around Koreans you know they apparently stop aging at around 30 and don't start up again until 90, so "older " just means she could be my age), small dog, the vacuum hose attached to the clippers to keep hair from falling down your shirt, all of it. The only thing missing is the little neck massage you would get in Korea. She does a bang up job on traditional hair cuts. She even finishes it off with a hot shave on the back of your neck to make sure you're clean and neat. The prices are nice and low. If you want the latest fashion as seen on some Fabio-look alike in Glamour magazine, go somewhere else. If you want a good haircut at a good price, come here.

Again, they do not have barber's licenses therefore they cannot shave you. It is EXPENSIVE. $18 for a mens haircut. $16 for a kids haircut. A bit on the pricey side if you ask me. That $18 is, again, just for a haircut - not a haircut and a shave. Price aside, the haircut was decent and the staff was friendly. There are less expensive an equally good places to get your haircut in the area. If you want a true, old school barber shop, this is not it. If you want a decent haircut and don't mind paying $18 for it, this is your place.

(Not a pleasant atmosphere for me and my Hispanic partner) Also the barbers didn't know what a Drop Fade is... that should of been another sign to find another place. I even had a photo of the fade pulled up and this is what I got. My fade isn't even nor is it close to what I asked for. To top it off their equipment is very old and not taken care of, my hair kept getting pulled and I kept getting stabbed with the clippers. So if you have tough skin and don't mind terrible service this is the place for you.
