Visited there a few months ago approximately 1p during a workday. I believe the haircut cost $40 and was done within 5 minutes. No beer or drink offered. No one else was in the shop at the time beside me and the owner. I should have stick to my tried and true 30+ minute detailed haircut I get for $35 over the bridge. This is a high quality barber shop with some guys that really know how to cut hair " the way you want it", in a super clean environment. The mood is chill... the barbers are friendly...and the cut is spot on...no matter how much hair you have, or don't have. You can find cheaper places... but you'll have to look in the mirror at what cheap gets you until your hair grows back and you learn The Barber's Den is a great investment. read more

Ta is a great barber and nails my haircut every time (half fade on the sides, leave some length up top). I'm constantly getting compliments and have been told on more than one occasion that I had "the best fade" that someone had ever seen. The shop is clean and I've never had an issue with parking out front. Ta is also just a really good guy-- funny, good conversationalist, and maintains a chill and inclusive atmosphere in the shop. Just going to rattle off why I love this new spot. The owner "Ta" is the man. Greets me with the choice of an iced cold Stella, whiskey, or freshly ground coffee. Went for the Stella. How could I say no? Asked me how I wore my hair, said he would cut it so I could wear it a couple of different ways. Forgot to mention everything in the shop is brand new, beautiful, and extremely clean. Can't tell you how many times I've seen a barber with his lunch or open beers right at their station or the front desk. Not here, where the barbers actually act like professionals, not just your buddy quickly cutting your hair. A couple buddies of mine got a fresh shave after I reported back and couldn't thank me enough for putting them on to the best barbershop in Queen Village. I'll be back to explore that shave next time I'm in. read more

Paid for a 45 min haircut and was rushed in and out in 11 minutes. Had to literally tell the guy "it looks fine" just to get out of there because he was rushing every single thing I asked him to do. Supposed to "come with a beer" - was never offered one this time. Also I've never received a haircut where the barber doesn't wet your hair and just cuts it fully dry? No hot neck shave at the end to line up the back? Some guys here are great barbers but this guy was not up to par with the rest of the shop.
