Don't know what people expect from a chain style barber shop for a haircut under 35 dollars but obviously you're not going to get your typical razor fade lineup here like the "former cop" below is complaining about. Those fades go from 50-60 dollars dude and take a good hour. I'm not going to walk into a super cuts and complain that they don't do fades when it's a 25 dollar establishment. And the lady has the right to bring up politics, I'm sure since your a "former cop" we know what politics you side on (maybe ***mp 2024) type but idk. If that's the case we all know how loud you all are with politics, but a person has an opposing view and of course you probably get triggered. Go to the pearl if you want your "cop fade" oh wait you probably get triggered by that area and can't afford it anyways so stop complaining. Went in for a hot lather neck shave and she fake shaved me. Literally put the shave cream on and scraped it off with the cover still on the razor and when I left I still have stubble all over the back of my neck. She thought I didn't notice but I did because I've got one plenty of times so idk what that was about. Didn't want to make a scene because last time I went in for a clean up and the girl shaved the sides down to a 4 went I specifically said I was growing it out and just wanted it trimmed and she was in the back room crying and I lowkey felt bad. read more

the hair cut was fair, not the best, but acceptable. I don like that they call themselves a barber shop, when they are not a barber shop. I asked for a razor shave (fade) and they said they could not do it because they were not barbers, but licensed hair stylist. The other issue I had, was the individual spoke about politics the whole time. I politely agreed with her on things, but truthfully, we were not on the same side of politics at all. At some points it became somewhat personal and uncomfortable with my former law enforcement background. I have gone back once or twice, purely because timing was not available for other shops in the area. read more

Melissa cuts hair well. She deserves at least 4 stars. No matter how good Melissa cuts hair this place has a few issues that make it very difficult to get a haircut. First, they have an appointment system which I think is a great idea because it prevents crowding of the barbershop with walk ins. However, this is one of the most poorly executed systems of scribbles and highlights. One issue is that they don't take appointments in advance, what this means is that you can't call and schedule an appt for the next day. You have to call when they open and hope they answer. Which brings me to the second issue. On two occasions, I have called multiple times to schedule an appt that day. I call during business hours and get no one. The third issue is that even if you get an appt, like I did today, there's a chance that they didn't write your name down on their piece of scratch paper. My advice: find a different barber shop that creates systems that make it easier to get a hair cut. read more

I have not had much of a problem at other Barbers locations, but with my most recent visit to this location, I told the hair stylist exactly how I like my hair, how short I wanted the sides and bangs, where my part is, and all the other details. Well during the haircut I noticed she was cutting my hair way too short (can't say much about that after it was cut), and she put my part on the wrong side! To top that off, she must have been very distracted from what she was doing since she was flirting with me the entire time and trying to invite me out over the weekend. This is really not cool during a haircut. I am less than pleased with my experience, and that is upsetting since normally I always have a good experience at the other locations. read more

I have been getting good haircuts here, but will not be going back. I sat there for half an hour to get a haircut and 3 others that came in after me were served first. I asked why and was told that technically they were first because they called in. They do not take reservations but you can call ahead and they put you down. This is technically a reservation. Savanah did an amazing job. Haircut was nothing but perfection. I got in right away, the place was roomy, the mirror placement was amazing. Conversation was super easy. I got a wash, and the massage was pretty good. She used something that made my head feel cold and tingly which I really liked. They have a hair vacuum!!! Love it. Parking was open right by the front door, easy access, actually Savannah met me as I was parking, it doesn't get any better than that. I like barber shops cause I'm a guy and hair just shouldn't be that complicated. I accept that most are dumpy so I was surprised and impressed to find this place clean, neat and comfortable! Each station has a TV showing some sports channel. The cut was great. My wife commented while I was still walking in the door that my hair looked good. Rare praise! That's the important part. But as frosting on the cake, I went ahead with the deluxe treatment and got a shampoo which turned out to be a 5 minute scalp massage. My husband went in, asked for a hair cut, told the guy who was cutting his hair exactly what he wanted (down to what size/inch razor), and then walked out with a haircut he hated. I called in to ask if they would redo it because I won't let my husband spend money on a poorly done haircut, the woman was taken aback by me asking if they would fix it and with a rude tone said they would. Then when he came in, the guy who did his hair pretended he had never seen him before. I was in the restroom when my husband got finished up and when I walked out the guy who had been cutting his hair was making fun of my husband. I decided on this place to go in and get my first real haircut of my life (I have cut my own hair for the last ten years) and it was a terrible idea. I was one of two people in this place at the time and I already have short hair so its a pretty easy cut, just wanted it faded and lined in the back since I couldn't do that myself. The haircut looked like a blind child with scissors had free reign to do whatever, I never received that so called "neck and back massage" and I left out of this place feeling horrible. I went home and decided that I didn't like the bangs this girl had made so I shaved my head using a #1 size attachment. wasted $17 bucks and a half hour of my life for absolutely nothing and I still had to cut my own hair!! The only positive thing I can think of during this whole experience was that they had TV's and a basketball game was playing (just my luck though it was halftime). Don't trust this place they obviously have no clue what they are doing and are WAY overpriced for what you actually get read more

I've been to Tigard once, Gresham twice and Hollywood countless times. Avoid Gresham! 1st time needed correction. 2nd time, the stylist was loud and annoying - complaining about family, jamming to Prince, endless talk. I asked for The Works and had to remind her about the massage (which lasted maybe 20 seconds) and the neck shave. I was with a friend and had to wait 10 minutes for him because he got the complete treatment. I left completely annoyed. Never going back to that location. read more

I give this place a 0 on whole experience! Went in once before thought I would give it a second chance, was a complete mistake. Got there at 5:22pm they were not busy. Had no greeting for 5min. Manager chatting with her customer checking them out and immediately got on the phone. Talking to owner about employee performance and how they might need to let a girl go but how she is trying to prove herself. Another employee giving 2 free haircuts, while another employee complained about it. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. FINALLY AT 5:40 one of the ladies decided to cut hair again. My 9 yr was sitting still when as she finished she cut the back middle of his EAR!! NO APOLOGY, JUST A "IT HAPPENS, NOT A BIG DEAL!" Manager still on the phone not noticing anything! I ASK WHAT HAPPENED AND WHY SHE IS SAYING ITS NO BIG DEAL. All along my 9yr old is quiet and has tears. Manager was not helpful. We were the only ones in their shop Obviously not important customers. Wanted a 3-1 fade and all length on top which is not by any means a difficult haircut but she took it upon her self to go above and beyond the sides and proceeded to shave an inch into my hairline. She also delivered one of the worst fades I have ever received. Will not be asking for her or coming to this again. read more
