We're new to the area and decided to try this place out; our kiddo was in desperate need of a cut. We stopped in early-ish on a Sunday morning and were able to be fit into the schedule immediately. The woman who cut his hair was FANTASTIC! The fade is very good; she did a great job getting it even despite him having a hard time sitting still. She even put color in it for him! He's excited to go back when he needs it cut again. Also, the shop is cute. These ladies are amazing! I brought my grandson in his first 'big boy' haircut and Dave him such a great experience! Ivy was his barber. I left her know ahead of time about some special needs my grandson has and she was so gentle and patient, letting him hold the clippers and see how they felt ahead of time and showing him they wouldn't cut him by touching the cutting end. New place is awesome, great atmosphere and fantastic service. It's located in a great place in downtown Troutdale, along side other shops making it convenient to shop, eat and get a haircut to complete or start off your day. I arrived mid morning and it was the perfect time because I was able to be seated right away. Everyone there is having great conversation and cutting hair making it a more enjoyable experience. Others customers arrive and go to the spacious waiting area, they are offered a beverages while they wait. The haircut was great, exactly what I asked for. I was in & out in less than 30min. My husband recently returned to this Barber Shop. He had been going for several years, then one barber retired, we thought it was closed, so he went to one of the chain places for a haircut. They could get his hair cut correctly. Recently, I found that Three Chicks had taken over the Barber Shop in Troutdale. My husband went back. Really good haircut, but horrible beard trim. For $19 they are on the high end and don't offer a wash/rinse. Has potential if they get a sink and learn to use a razor to shape beards and mustaches. Ladies are super friendly, and Milo is great at greeting people at the door. read more
