One of the pains of moving house is finding local places that compare to your old places and lets face it, your hair is pretty important. Jane cut my hair today and i couldn't be happier, its a nerve racking experience going to a new barber, after all your walking out with a do that's going to be there for a while, so your hoping for the best. I have tried one other barber shop in Bridgewater and was not impressed, i'm so glad i found this place on here, and i'm pretty sure i'll be a regular. Great job on the hair, nice close shave at the neck area, friendly conversation, clean establishment, what more could you want? I was a little nervous after seeing a picture on here that looked like a poor guy had got a reverse Friar Tuck, but i'm happy to report that seems to have been addressed and everyone i saw walking out of there was as happy as i was with my new do. read more

If you are looking for a cut at a reasonable price from a barber (not a "stylist") this is definitely the place for you! Never had a bad cut here. The staff is extremely friendly. The shop is clean (as the pictures show). Only time I've ever had more than a 15 minute wait was on Friday nights (but thats because all men wait until Friday night to get a haircut... so, par for the course). Very good location from all surrounding towns (right off Route 24) and there are a few good local places to get food/drink after you're done. Update: I just got a straight-shave here today. Amazing. This is an awesome barber shop! I've been a customer since 2013, and I won't go elsewhere. This shop is always clean, there's a crew of friendly barbers so wait times aren't long, even if you'd like to wait for your favorite barber as I do. Conversation at the shop is always fun, just like a barber shop should be. Abby's my barber and she's an expert, I always leave feeling so sharp after a cut, professional and stylish. Stopped in to have a botched horseshoe flattop fixed. Abby was amazing, she worked it an fussed over it until it was perfect. The cut was incredibly tight and finishing it off with a whitewall and hot facial shave made it a perfect barbershop experience. I can't recommend Abby highly enough. Recently went there for first time. Shop looked fresh and clean then I get seated in a chair with shredded upholstery. The other chairs looked new and the difference was an eye catcher. The barber there should get a bigger commission for putting up with that. Haircut was OK. I noticed the owner responded to a similiar comment some months back and said the chair was going to be repaired. What decade? Either a lie and/or no followthru? If you go there, avoid the chair on the right, for the same money you can sit in a nice one. read more

I've been coming here irregularly for two years, every time I leave a happier man. This place is perfect, and it's great especially if you have children. The barbers are well focused and I always see them talking to the guest. This is the typical small town New England barber shop and I highly recommend cutting your hair here! read more

My sons first haircut at just shy of 2 years of age, and it came out amazing! Tears were flowing and Abby was so fast and efficient, she is truly a perfectionist. I've been coming here since before Abbie owned it, and I've never had a bad haircut from them. The prices are great, the atmosphere is welcoming with classic rock music playing, and you're usually not waiting more than 10 minutes before being seen. I have been going to The Barbarshop for over 4 years now. I happen to a be a bit particular about my fades, as a lot of barbers can't quite hack it. That being said, I happened upon this shop, got a great haircut and the rest was history! Abby gives the best haircuts, and the rest of the crew is pretty good as well. Arrived at 1:45p to get a haircut. There was a closed sign on the door even though the hours on the door( and their website) clearly state the hours being open 7a-2p. The door also states "walk-ins welcome". My son went to the door to ask if he could get a haircut, he was told by a woman that worked there she had to leave because her husband had to go to work. So I went to the door to question them because their door states they are open until 2pm and I was given the same excuse from the women even, though 2 of the 3 men working there were giving haircuts. It is very poor business practice to not provide a service to the public during what you advertise as your business hours. I will not be returning to this establishment and I certainly won't recommend it to anyone. read more

I recently moved to Bridgewater and was looking for a good Barbershop. I located this barbershop as it popped up aqs a Yelp suggestion. I went to this location and there were 3 barbers present. I walked in and no one greeted me. The 2 male barbers just looked at me and the 3rd Barber, which was a female, acknowledged me and asked me to come to her chair. She had no clients in the chair, while the other barbers did. To make a long story short, the hair cut I got looked good initially and I walked out a happy Customer. As I got home, I checked my haircut in detail and instead of a skin fade, she created an uneven fade and I can see two lines that should've been blended in. Hence the name of the haircut, a fade. The hair fades in or it should've of. Needless to say, I had to go to another barbershop for them to fix it. I wasted money in this location and the environment wasn't as friendly as it should be. If you want a simple bowl haircut or a shaved head I would recommend this place. If not, look else where. Def disappointed. read more

First visit and the haircut was adequate and the people polite. My problem is there was one chair that was falling apart. Split at the seams with padding coming out of a dozen places. I was asked to sit there. I had to wonder if the barber at that station was the newest, the worst or it was an initiation. The other chairs were fine. Sent out bad vibes the same as a dirty floor or dirty windows would. Management must have a blind spot? If they let customers see that, what other things are not right that we cannot see. A red flag of standards slipping. All it would take is a few hundred or a thousand dollars, get it reupholstered, earn the money back in a few weeks, use the chair for 20 years. How an owner lives with this is baffling. All the other chairs were fine. I have seen older or worn chairs, but never one in shreds. Degrades the barber and customer who sits there. They don't know this? They won't see me again. read more

This is a fantastic barbershop to go for any haircut. I have been a customer for a few years now and also take my two boys. They have up to five stations going during their busy times and handle the crowds with seamless effort. Anyone there can give you a great cut and their hours and prices are excellent for the value. Personally I love how Abby cuts my hair (so does everyone, so she can have a wait if its busy but well worth it) The same goes for Josh, he does a fantastic job and like I said they all do. When you are particular about how you like your cut I find them great to go to. read more

one of the barbers there, an older man, was very rude. didnt seemed to like cutting kids hair at all. Ive heard he has since been let go, but thats not the only thing that i didnt like about going. I like my haircut done the old school kind of way. i dont like clippers to the top of my head when a real barber would use scissors. I have plastic clips at home if i wanted that kind of cut. It seemed like a cheap/fast way to do things. I thought that the owner would have better skills but i had the same cut. idk just maybe i like getting my moneys worth. My kid had the front of his bangs left untouched while the whole back of his head was buzzed. i had to go to another shop up the road to get it fixed that same day. he couldnt go to school like that. i would have brought them back but the closed before i could see the true outcome. read more
