Lolah is the best! When we called around looking for an agent to help us buy a home, Lolah asked…read moreall of the right questions and immediately went to work based on our ideas for a home. My wife and I work from home but have pretty strict schedules, so if a house we liked popped up on the market Lolah was there checking things out for us. If the home wasn't something that would meet our requirements (pictures can lie really well), Lolah would let us know instead of us having to drive out there to be disappointed. We were first time homebuyers and Lolah was able to educate us on the process and even helped us out with our lender. We initially tried to go with one of the popular online lenders who initially gave us a great preapproval, but once we started getting closer to underwriting started chipping away at the amount we could feasibly borrow. In this current market, having an ally was crucial to finding our home. Lolah was there for us every step of the way, even playing hide and seek with our daughter in homes we were checking out. I would absolutely recommend Lolah to anyone looking to buy/sell a home. If you're here, you're already miles ahead of anyone trying to go look at houses via Zillow/Opendoor/etc. Go ahead and make the call. You won't be disappointed.

Simply List team was amazing. So, we did the "For Sale By Owner: GAMLS & FMLS" with the option to…read more"Lease an Agent-Access Supra Lockbox". They mailed this to us with a detail letter explanation on how to setup to the door, when Realtor can access the home and how to return the Supra lockbox. We also worked with Colleen on getting the images uploaded. I was able to work with her to get the images in the order we wanted to be viewed, which really helped on selling the home. Anytime an agent came to do the showing, they would either call, text and or email us. This was a very easy process and we were able to get a lot of showing. In addition, since we had the Supra lockbox, we never had to go with any of the agents. In addition, we also had an alarm on the home and was able to get notes added to the listing to let the agents always notify us before going into the home. We would also get an email notification when agent actually entered the home via Supra box. We would get to see the name and when they entered the home. The agent could also do a review on the home, which gave us great feedback on if we were listing the home for the correct price, if they liked the home, if they were going to make an offer and if they had any other feedback they would like to note about the home. I was also provided with a link from Simply List with all the required forms. So in any situation, I would be able to deal with the listing. This was very helpful, because we actually had to use their unilateral notice to terminate form twice, which aided us in cancelling the sale transaction, put the house back on the market in one situation, which we use with other supporting documentations to be awarded the buyer's earnest money for not able to close on the home. We also had the option to upgrade the service if we wanted the full service and even if the home did not get sold, we did not pay any additional charges to continue the listing. I found Celine answered my emails very fast and sometimes after hours. In all, based on the price of the services they offer, excellent staff, their professionalism and excellent customer service we received, this is a tremendous company to work with and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to sell their home on their own or using them to list their home. In addition, this is the 3rd home that we have listed with them and sold. I would also like to thank Celine, Colleen, their principal broker and all their staff for the fantastic support and service in helping my Mom getting her home sold!

Steer clear. Buyer beware…read more I can't stress this enough. Berkshire Hathaway is out to make a dime at anyone's expense - in my opinion and within my experience. Tom Faust has continued to rush my wife and I to the finish line of our house buying without having our best interests in mind. We trusted him to have our best interest in mind and we thought our discussions would be represented within the contract, but they were not. We discussed the portions of our contract with our realtor, Tom, but our contracts never seemed to represent our discussions. Therefore, we signed without reading every small check marked box - reasonably thinking that Tom had accurately depicted the contract in our conversations. He slipped in minor details that benefitted him, without discussing the changes with us first. For example, he decided to select to give up our due diligence period in a contract amendment [pertaining to fixing items from the inspection by the seller] without discussing it with us first. He proceeded to tell us that the new contract amendment only had two changes, which included the repairs to our home, and there was zero discussion about him checking a small box stating we would entirely give up the duration of our due diligence period immediately upon signing the amendment. A reasonable person would not assume that signing a contract amendment to have some windows fixed would lead your real estate agent to select giving up the duration of your due diligence period, without ever discussing the due diligence period portion of this amendment. It was a small box that was not noticeable to my reading eye, nor would I ever guess that a real estate agent would do something so reckless without discussing. If my wife and I were still in our due diligence, and it would have not been wrongly taken away from us, we would have backed out because of our terrible experience with Berkshire Hathaway and Tom Faust. In addition, he broke our buyer brokerage agreement. The agreement states that he isn't allowed to discuss familial status, school systems, and anything that would negatively impact our determination of the house buying process. However, when we were looking at buying in Smyrna, Georgia, he told my wife and I: "If you repeat this, I will deny it because I'm not allowed to discuss the schools, BUT Smyrna has the worst school systems in the county, which will directly impact your resell value." My wife and I had been looking in Smyrna for over 6 months and this directly impacted our decision. Not only did he violate this fair housing law but he negatively put us in a situation that Berkshire Hathaway will not remedy. Berkshire Hathaway is truly the worst and we express this opinion and experience to help save others who are facing similar issues.
