It's very convenient to know what's in stock and to get timely answers. Most hobby places I've dealt with in the past are very slow when it comes to responses/non existent. Outside of great communication, owner/staff are very friendly and overall fantastic people to deal with. To the fun stuff - it's a classic card shop with a great selection and cool memorabilia as well. This store may not make you feel welcome, especially if you are not like them (judging by something the one guy said). If you know what you are looking for, you will probably be okay. People at coin shops and card shops and pawn shops aren't known for being real rays of sunshine. I might be inclined to go back but you can typically find more competitive prices on eBay. The are a business so they have to have a markup to pay the rent, so keep that in mind. Junk silver half dollars were 1.5x what you would find on eBay. Other junk silver pieces were closer to eBay taking into account shipping they would charge. Store hours not listed. I think they are closed Sunday and Monday. Open 10-5 Tuesday - Friday. And it was 10-4 on Saturday.

They also know what they are talking about. I had questions about transformers, layouts, and engines, and they explained things perfectly. Prices are reasonable, too. There's no insane markup like in some other hobby stores. Just a great place. It specializes in Lionel O-Gauge, though it has HO and some other stuff. It's easy to get to--it's right on Lincoln Highway, not far from the expressway--and there is parking in the back. They don't have stores like this any longer, so please check it out.
