It's also a great way to get together with old friends throw some balls around and catch up during otherwise busy lives. The league so far has Volleyball, Kickball, Softball, Football, Dodgeball, Bowling, Cornhole, Basketball, and the occasional bar crawl. The commissioner has put together a league geared more towards fun and friends vs strict and overly competitive. They have made everything very approachable and are always looking to make sure games are well run. And the refs always make the games fun and fair in accordance with FSS rules. So if your looking to get out there, be active, but most of all have a great time this is the league for you.

Let me tell…read moreyou, the folks at Casey Cares and Our Baltimore Ravens know how to welcome kids facing challenges. Every person (player, coach, staff and attendee) was very accommodating. Players signed autographs for the kids until their hands cramped. They took countless pictures. They gave away gloves and other personal items. The PR person (I can't recall his name) found out that one kid's favorite player had already signed autographs and left but THAT kids didn't see him. He took it upon himself to go inside, find the player and the player came BACK out to sign a bunch of additional autographs and take MORE pictures. As a parent, there is no greater joy than seeing your child overjoyed! These are THE top notch organizations by which all organizations should measured. Eternally grateful!!

The yoga classes are decent enough for my need. It's a clean place. No sweaty and musty odors. Not fancy but not shabby either. People at the front desk are friendly and helpful. The sauna and steam room are the deal breaker for me.

I started hiking with Goombay in 2023 and years later I feel like I've found my tribe. I scrolled through pictures to share and in just 1 year I have participated in hiking, camping, skying, kickball, dodgeball, adult field day and game nights. We're off to Jamaica soon as well. The adventures go on! Out of these activities I have met life long friends. I look forward to each camping trip like a kid going off to camp.

Indoors is a weight room, cardio studio, yoga and group exercise areas along with steam room & dry sauna, a spin room plus meeting areas. There are locker rooms for changing complete with showers, restrooms, etc. Outside you have soccer fields plus athletic fields plus two swimming pools for seasonal recreation. The group fitness instructors are friendly, helpful & knowledgeable and there are many different classes to choose from. It's an older building, so it lacks some of the bells & whistles that more trendy gyms have, but delivers a lot of options for money well spent.

The courts are right by the water and well-maintained, the staff was very friendly, and I enjoyed the format of no scheduled games (which was different than other leagues I played in, it allowed for quite a bit of playing time). The league participants seemed to be of all ages and experience levels, so it was fairly easy to find a well-matched team to play against.

My friend invited me out to sub since he was short a player and enjoyed my first time out here. Granted the weather was beautiful and the sand was awesome. I was thinking the sand was going to be nasty, but its premium sand that the courts are filled with. There are about 6 courts and different leagues from 2's, 4's, and Coed. It's like the Volleyball House but outdoors :) You can park at the Rusty Scupper lot and get your ticket validated at the tent and just pay $4 for parking.
