The bean is a local coffee shop located in Kellogg, ID. There's a parking lot in front and it's near the Silver Mountain resort. The staff were super nice and gave us recommendations on what to get here as well as what to do around town. The latte and zip fizz tasted flavorful and sweet. There's plenty of seating indoors and it has a very rustic feel. I'd recommend stopping by if you're in town and looking for a morning pick me up!

Newly obsessed with this place. The environment is so cute decked out in ski decor, making it a great silver mountain stop! The coffee was delicious, ended up buying some beans because I loved it so much. The staff was so sweet and insanely fast.

    Chunky with blue dye??

I've heard a lot of good things about this place, so I'm a little disappointed this was my experience. I only got an iced Matcha so I can't say anything about any other drinks or food. However, the matcha doesn't taste like a matcha. Also, I had chunks everywhere. I tried dissolving them but it still was pretty chunky. I also noticed while trying to dissolve the chunks there was some blue crystal stuff? What is that? Is there blue dye in their matcha?? I would have rejected this at the checkout but I had someone pick up the drink for me and bring it to me. I hope their other drinks and food are better but I suggest staying away from the matcha. Unfortunately, the rest of this drink will just be tossed.

Yummy food, coffee, and gluten free cookies. Cute space in such a lovely town. Looks like it gets festive at night with the attached bar.

Freshest food and best coffee in Kellogg. The Gardener on the cheese jalapeño bagel was *chefs kiss*. Coffee was good and piping hot!

Had to stop here to get caffeinated before we started our trip home to Seattle. The three ladies behind the counter were fun and friendly, despite the early hour. Obviously they work well together. Ordered my usual dirty chai and I was pleasantly surprised with the spiciest chai I've ever had. Kudos! And it wasn't on the menu, but they also made a sweetened ice tea for my friend, which was also quite good. They also have alcoholic and ice cream options available, as well as sandwiches. Will be back in the area next month and will definitely be back!

    Tasty bevs.

On our recent epic 2500 mile road trip my daughter and I set a goal to eat only at local spots, and to avoid chains and fast food. Unfortunately, a lack of cell service in many areas made this task more challenging than we'd anticipated. But it also made for some fun adventures as we pulled off of freeway exits and strolled various towns looking for food and - in the case of The Bean - coffee! The Bean is about 5 minutes off a freeway exit which also boasts fast food and gas stations, but it's well worth the hunt for this cute little spot with an awesome small town vibe. In fact, I got the impression it was mostly locals who frequent The Bean, as it was full of folks just hanging out, gabbing, and/or working on their laptops. I ordered my signature white chocolate mocha with almond milk (yes, they have alternative milks - yay!) and a bagel, while my daughter got an green tea frappucino and a muffin. It was great morning fuel before we tackled the epic Route of the Hiawatha bike trail. If you're looking for good coffee off the beaten path, drive the extra few minutes to The Bean!

Wanted breakfast so went in here based on good reviews. Nice customer service. Got the cheese bagel with cream cheese and my grandson liked it. Got an everything bagel breakfast sandwich with egg, ham and cheese. Bagel is dry and I've never seen an egg like the one on the sandwich. Some kind of counterfeit egg. I won't dare eat it.

Stopped in for the huckleberry ice cream and decided to get an espresso with heavy cream. I was so glad I stopped, best ice cream and espresso I have ever had!! Would highly recommend stopping in if you are near Kellogg, ID, you won't be disappointed!

Awesome idea! The "Buddy board" is a way for people to prepay for a friend's coffee. Love it!

We try to eat clean and I'm gluten intolerant, so THIS bakery was perfect for drinks and baked goods! While there we were given some "secret" spots to see along our trip! There is no doubt Rebekah loves what she does and puts her love into her products as well as her community! If the rest of the community has love, vision and passion like her, we want to come back and live here!!! Excellent lemonade (thank you Hadassah for squeezing the lemons), lavender latte, tuna salad on sourdough, bagel sandwich with salmon, raspberry danish and coconut macaroon! We definitely should have left with several more items for the road, as it's doubtful we find anything that good on the rest of our trip! Will you ship to us in Kansas City? There is nothing quite as sweet there! It's all boring and bland!

We came late in the day so the offerings were limited, but the staff and owner were so nice and helpful! We got apple fritters and cinnamon rolls to share. We wished the fritter would have been warm, but it our fault for eating it on the go. The cinnamon roll was moist and had tons of sauce soaked into the bread. The cream cheese frosting was fluffy and not too sweet. Go check this place out and explore their creative toasts, sandwiches and drinks!
