    Matcha Ube special
    John B.

I came seeking takeout for an island trip, and I came here because this place offered some vegetarian options that the island did not. I ordered my wrap with a side option and paid the upcharge for potatoes and was quite insulted. The small handful of potatoes were delicious, I'll give them that, but I'm sure not paying extra would have been a better decision. The wrap itself was a delightfully dill-based chickpea salad that worked perfectly for my intended travel plans. It came in halves, and I thought I'd eat them separately, but the first half was so good I just downed the second immediately. My matcha-based beverage was available with milk substitutes, and getting oat milk and light sweetener produced a nuanced flavor. The blackberry danish I got was probably overkill and was fine but not amazing. Some good and bad here but the good aspects were exactly as hoped from my perspective.

    Potatoes were extra $3...

We went in before 3pm on a Saturday. The place was empty. Yet, no one greeted us. The girl at the counter was doing something behind the counter but had her side towards us. We waited a few minutes before she came to the register, and kept looking at her coworker, seemingly irritated. Again, no greeting. Just took our orders. No thank you's. Someone else brought our drinks and food. We ordered the chicken, bacon, ranch wrap with potatoes and they were good. For drinks, we got Ubi-Wan Kenobi and Disco Dust lattes. The ubi-wan was supposed to have ube foam but you can't even tell. It wasn't purple and it didn't even taste like ube. And it was extremely sweet!! The latte was sweet and the foam was sweet as well. I couldn't even finish it. The place was cute but the service and drinks were a let down.

I really enjoyed my sandwich (bagel and lox). Very good and lots of everything piled high. What made this a 3 star rating is my drink. I tried something new and I didn't love it. I asked them if they would swap it and they said no. I would have to buy a new drink. Disappointing. I tired a new place and new drink and was rebuffed. My fault for trying something new but isn't that what it's all about. I had two sips and the drink was a waste.

This is a small, cute coffee shop that is a great place to stop in at. It has a drive thru too. I ordered a donut and chai latte today. The blueberry donut was very sweet and delicious. I should have asked to have it slightly warmed up though. Their chai latte is always a good choice for me. It can be hot or iced and you can choose to add any syrup if you'd like. Normally I love to add lavender or coconut, but today I tried the HP Butterbeer syrup. I probably won't choose that syrup again with chai, but it was a fun try. There are comfy chairs to relax in and tables with chairs to work at too. Their staff was very friendly and patient while I decided what I wanted.

It's a small coffee shop, but it has a lot of options. I appreciate the variety of sugar free flavors. Most shops in the area only have SF vanilla and maybe hazelnut if you're lucky. White mochas are my favorite and they have SF white chocolate syrup. For food, I love their meatless Italian. It's my all time favorite breakfast sandwich. Their macaroons are very good, but a little on the pricey side. Their staff has always been friendly and I've never had any issues with service. A handful of times I've had to wait a bit for my drink but it's because they were very busy.

Local coffee shop in California, Maryland! I ordered an iced americano and it was delicious. They also added a chocolate covered espresso bean on top which was a nice addition. Service was a little slow so I would definitely order in advance so that your order can be done in a timely manner. They also have a drive through and you can also order in person that drives up the busyness within the store. I think the Beanery is a nice little coffee shop to meet with some friends or do some light studying! There is also outside seating which is so nice for the warm weather. :)

Nice and buttery Croissant with Bacon, Egg, and Cheese!

They still got! Food and service on point as usual! This is go to when you're on the go and need a quick pick me up.. You can't go wrong here.. Now today it was jumping a little louder than usual.. I'm assuming Friday's be like that huh.. Good vibes, everyone seems to be enjoying the outing on purpose.. Make sure drop if you're on the area!

If you can't finish your drink, they have this cool contraption of a paper to-go cup that you can request! The seating area was dimly list and plenty of tables; the only off-putting thing was that it smelled like urine; not sure if they need to do a deep-clean of the carpet? Staff were friendly, and the place seems pretty popular with the locals. Loved their various decor and signages, as they were fun to check out! Food options are basic, but they have made a choice to carry some packaged gluten-free goods and some milk alternatives, so most diets can be accommodated. I got an iced matcha, which was straightforward and not overly sweet. Getting a waffle seemed the freshest option, and it was a sugary, tasty waffle with a few topping options, of which I picked a drizzle of maple syrup. Neither item was very large, but the price was right. It's a distinctive atmosphere, and you can see that this place is trying to bring something new to the area. It's not the kind of stuff you'd get at a high-end urban cafe, but it worked for me on the day.

This was my first time visiting Bubbles Bzzz, and honestly the experience left me really…read moredisappointed. I had never been there before and didn't know how ordering worked. The first employee I interacted with was an Asian/Pacific Islander girl who was nice and let me sample a few things, but she didn't really explain the ordering process or how the menu worked. The menu setup itself is confusing because there are multiple flavors listed on the same line next to one price. For example, it listed something like mango, apple kiwi, passion fruit all together, so naturally I thought that was the drink combination I was ordering. I even pointed directly at it while ordering. At no point did anyone explain that you could only choose two flavors. After waiting, another employee -- a light-skinned white American girl with black hair who was on the heavier side and spoke fully English -- called out an apple kiwi slushy multiple times. I didn't grab it because I thought it belonged to someone else since that wasn't what I believed I ordered. Eventually she looked at me and said it was mine. I explained nicely that I had ordered something different and pointed to the menu item I selected. That's when she told me they only allow two flavors. I said I understood, but that nobody had explained that to me. I politely asked if it could be remade with mango and passion fruit instead. You could immediately tell she was annoyed, even though the store was not busy at all. While remaking the drink, she loudly told the other employee, "I don't have the patience for this," loud enough for both me and my mom to clearly hear. That was honestly the part that upset me the most. I was being respectful the entire time, simply trying to understand the menu and correct an honest misunderstanding as a first-time customer. The remake took maybe 4 minutes, and instead of handling it professionally, I was made to feel like a burden. I still said thank you when she handed me the drink, even after the comment, because I wanted her to know I heard what she said. After leaving, I called to speak to a manager and was told there wasn't one there and they didn't know when one would be in. I understand mistakes happen, especially with confusing menus, but customer service and professionalism matter. First-time customers should feel welcomed, not embarrassed for asking questions or misunderstanding an unclear menu.
