Visited after an early Saturday morning run and I have to say the coffee was amazing and so refreshing! Cold brew, omg, to die for! Super cute little niche shop, with an artsy vibe! I came seeking takeout for an island trip, and I came here because this place offered some vegetarian options that the island did not. I ordered my wrap with a side option and paid the upcharge for potatoes and was quite insulted. The small handful of potatoes were delicious, I'll give them that, but I'm sure not paying extra would have been a better decision. The wrap itself was a delightfully dill-based chickpea salad that worked perfectly for my intended travel plans. It came in halves, and I thought I'd eat them separately, but the first half was so good I just downed the second immediately. My matcha-based beverage was available with milk substitutes, and getting oat milk and light sweetener produced a nuanced flavor. The blackberry danish I got was probably overkill and was fine but not amazing. Some good and bad here but the good aspects were exactly as hoped from my perspective. read more

An ideal coffee shop. Stopped by while vacationing in town and was impressed by all the options in this little stop. They have tons of dairy milks and non dairy milks, fun seasonal flavors, a big range of syrups, and a complimentary breakfast/lunch menu. Plus you can order ahead! I got a Lavender Fields iced latte and it was delicious - tasty and different. It's a small place with a few indoor and outdoor seats but decorated nicely. We went in before 3pm on a Saturday. The place was empty. Yet, no one greeted us. The girl at the counter was doing something behind the counter but had her side towards us. We waited a few minutes before she came to the register, and kept looking at her coworker, seemingly irritated. Again, no greeting. Just took our orders. No thank you's. Someone else brought our drinks and food. We ordered the chicken, bacon, ranch wrap with potatoes and they were good. For drinks, we got Ubi-Wan Kenobi and Disco Dust lattes. The ubi-wan was supposed to have ube foam but you can't even tell. It wasn't purple and it didn't even taste like ube. And it was extremely sweet!! The latte was sweet and the foam was sweet as well. Five stars for this little coffee shop - not only is it right next door to an adorable yoga studio but everything they have is made fresh to order and it's delicious!! They're only open for breakfast and lunch and that's okay because the food and pastries they offer are delectable from quiche to burritos - croissants to salads - they have something for everyone!! They even have the most adorable "Pay It Forward" bulletin board - I am obsessed with it! You can purchase something in advance for someone and you can make it as specific or as general as you want!!! I love this idea so very much! And for this non coffee drinker, they have other yummy goodness to quench your thirst - I highly recommend the chai latte!!! read more

I asked them if they would swap it and they said no. I would have to buy a new drink. Disappointing. I tired a new place and new drink and was rebuffed. This is a small, cute coffee shop that is a great place to stop in at. It has a drive thru too. I ordered a donut and chai latte today. The blueberry donut was very sweet and delicious. I should have asked to have it slightly warmed up though. Their chai latte is always a good choice for me. It can be hot or iced and you can choose to add any syrup if you'd like. Normally I love to add lavender or coconut, but today I tried the HP Butterbeer syrup. I probably won't choose that syrup again with chai, but it was a fun try. There are comfy chairs to relax in and tables with chairs to work at too. Their staff was very friendly and patient while I decided what I wanted. read more

It's a small coffee shop, but it has a lot of options. I appreciate the variety of sugar free flavors. Most shops in the area only have SF vanilla and maybe hazelnut if you're lucky. White mochas are my favorite and they have SF white chocolate syrup. For food, I love their meatless Italian. It's my all time favorite breakfast sandwich. Their macaroons are very good, but a little on the pricey side. Their staff has always been friendly and I've never had any issues with service. Local coffee shop in California, Maryland! I ordered an iced americano and it was delicious. They also added a chocolate covered espresso bean on top which was a nice addition. Service was a little slow so I would definitely order in advance so that your order can be done in a timely manner. They also have a drive through and you can also order in person that drives up the busyness within the store. I think the Beanery is a nice little coffee shop to meet with some friends or do some light studying! There is also outside seating which is so nice for the warm weather. :) read more

I loved how it was still nice and warm after a 10 min drive home. The amount of cream cheese was slightly excessive for my preference, but if you've been to the northeast... THEY LOVE THEIR CREAM CHEESE. The yogurt parfait was not only beautifully presented, but the FLAVORS, y'all. It's like sweet apple pie with some granola, peanut butter, and delicious fruits mixed in. I feel like I need to learn what all the secret sauce is because my goodness, I could eat this for the rest of my days & for the price! 5.99 is SUPER CHEAP in my experience of yogurt parfaits, and this one is top tier. (Please don't raise the price, tho. We love affordability around here) I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the names of the festive drinks, and ended up with the "Bye Buddy, Hope You Find Your Foam" absolutely amazing. The marshmallow cold foam was the cherry on top. My husband was also the sweetest and surprised me with macarons. I didn't even know they were on the menu, but boy oh boy, they hit the spot. However im 90% sure they used regular milk instead of the Oat milk I paid for and I didnt noticed until I had already driven away and it already agitated my stomach. We stopped by The Barnett Cafe & Bakery as we were passing through for our kid's away soccer game in the area. We ordered an Iced Mocha with sweetness level light, the Hot Honey Impossible Sausage Quiche, a Cinnamon Roll, an Everything Bagel, an Egg and Cheese on a Croissant (modified No Frills), and a Maple Bear Claw (no picture). My wife and I enjoyed the Iced Mocha, it was the right amount of sweetness but we tend to like our coffee not as sweet. We didn't really taste the hot honey so much with the quiche. It was something you could taste lightly if you were thinking about it. However, they do have hot honey as a condiment in the shop so you can always add more. The Bear Claw was BIG and delicious. At first I thought it was going to be too much but it was more on the light and fluffy side. Our kids ate all of the sandwich, bagel, and cinnamon roll (minus the bite I managed to get of the cinnamon roll). The cinnamon roll was good but I worry about the lack of icing going out to the edges. Overall a great place and if I lived in the area this would be one of our go to breakfast places. read more

I love the Beanery - the vibes, food, and coffee are all fantastic. I order to go pretty regularly and love the option to order online so I can swing by after dropping my toddler at daycare. It's also a lovely spot to stay and eat if you have time to hang out and I've occasionally done some work between meetings from my laptop at the cafe while enjoying my coffee and breakfast. I've really been enjoying the themed weekly specials during the holidays - the Halloween and winter holiday themed specials have incredibly creative and delicious! The coffee drinks here are good, and they have a lot of cool options. I loved the hemp milk in the latte, it added a unique sweetness that I liked more than almond milk. The main reason I wasn't enthralled was the pricing. As fun as the flavors and milks are, we got three medium drinks and it was ~$18. This is a treat I may have once in a while, but the price makes it hard for me to see this being a regular stop. The service was pretty good, though I noticed that several employees were wearing masks improperly. I do think that the atmosphere inside was bright and welcoming, so if you're looking for a place to stay for the day and work or study this could be it. I had high hopes for this place as I'm always looking at supporting local businesses. First off, the employees seemed nice and the woman working the cash register was very welcoming. Pastries looked delicious, but we didn't try any. I ordered 2 lattes, one hot and one cold, but we didn't receive them until 25-30 min after placing our order. In that time, 4 other drink orders were fulfilled for other customers. At the time, I wasn't too annoyed by the wait as I just wanted my drink, but when we finally received them and took our first sip in our car, the hot latte tasted more like warm milk and then iced latte was watered down.
