The cozy seating area had a few tables set close together, and we were fortunate to be seated at the last open table. I ordered the cafe au lait, and my mom ordered the cafe glacé. The cafe au lait was brought out in an espresso mug and a pot of steamed milk - this way, you could add the desired amount of milk to your espresso. The espresso tasted smooth, and the milk was whipped to the perfect cloud-like consistency. I also tried a sip of my mom's cafe glacé, which was sweet and refreshing (the iced option also comes with a side of simple syrup). As a finishing touch, each beverage was delivered with a small square of chocolate. While pricier than a coffee at a typical cafe, this was one of the best cafe au lait I have ever tasted and worth every Euro.
