Knocking my original 3 star review up to 4 bc they made some great efforts at service recovery. However, it was badly needed. 6 ppl working behind the counter, mostly teens who seemed a little lost, like the one who took my order and didn't put it in, so I had to wait 25+ minutes and ask about my Food. The meal was good but more training is badly needed. The loud praise and worship music also wasn't my favorite relaxing morning ambience but that's a matter of taste. read more

This gem was worth the 30 minute drive for us. There was ample seating and parking. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. Our meals were yummy and those maple fries and croquettes....mmmm! The guava pastry was fresh and delicious. I love a coffee that doesn't need sugar to mask the bitterness and this place hit the mark. The employees were knowledgeable and polite and the prices are right on point for the size and quality of the meals. We will definitely be back. read more

The food was very good, exceptional! It was the best Cuban food that I've had in Georgia. Totally authentic! We had the authentic Cuban sandwich and Pan Bistec along with the sweet plantains, delicious! The staff was also very sweet and friendly! I typically love this place and the food and service. However the last time I went the food was not as good and service wasn't as friendly. I know you can't always be perfect but it's disappointing to be good one time and not the next. Hopefully this is improved in the future. I still recommend just need slight improvements. read more

First let me say the staff, other than the cook, were kind and courteous, and overall pleasant. The cook, for whatever reason, gave a smart answer regarding me asking for "mojo", which any Latin person with a grandmother, knows it's amazing citrus, garlic, make your mouth sing flavor that couples with any Spanish dish. So usually, the color is yellowish or off green depending on if you use cilantro or not.. but I got a snarky remark from him that "well it's not green!!". So, my daughters and myself shrugged it off, and he later returned with his own version of "mojo" sauce. When I tell you he literally gave me a sauce cup full of oil and onions, I'm not joking... it was LITERALLY just maybe the drippings from the Pernil tray? and some onions, that had next to no flavor whatsoever, outside of just bland pan drippings. Sighs.. so besides that, and I've seen images others have left for their reviews, my daughter had the rice, beans, pork, and sweet plantains bowl. This dish had 0 flavor, so maybe they were having an off day today? because others are like.. "OoOOo its such a unique flavor!!" *sighs*, what we got is like this cook is allergic to salt, garlic, onions, cilantro, cumin, and any other flavor that was distinctly missing from this dish. Hear me out, I'm 47, Puerto Rican, and have been both cooking and eating Latin flavors between Miami, Fort Lauderdale, FL.. and Brooklyn NY. So I both understand how these dishes are supposed to taste, and actually how to make them, If he had just used SALT for crying out loud, I would have been happy for at least trying. Lastly, and I won't go too much further, but in my opinion if your going to sell an "authentic cuban sandwich", please make it an authentic cuban sandwich. The Pernil "roast pork shoulder" tasted like air, again i would have been happy with AT LEAST salt, but the worst thing that could have been done to me today was, you put MAYO??? on my Cuban! Whatever mustard aioli fancy whatever you were trying to do... please state so on the menu! Pernil, Pickles, Ham, Mustard, Swiss Cheese, pressed Cuban buttered bread.. THATS IT! If you realize when you cleaned up our table over half the sandwich was still there because your menu says authentic, and lists the ingredients, one of which is MUSTARD.. not a MUSTARD MIXED WITH MAYO! Suffice it to say this was a complete let down, because i don't get Latin food here in GA outside of ATL, and i would be eating at your establishment ALL THE TIME, if your cook/chef just learns to season your food, YouTube some recipes or something, and thats not being mean! you need to understand i just spent 80 dollars at your establishment for inedible food, other than the fries and the sweet plantains. I'm just speaking my truth, i don't mean to offend, you all seem very nice, and i want you very much to succeed so I have an awesome place to come eat, but right now... my daughters and i will not be revisiting. Must visit! It's the cutest place and serves the BEST Cuban food that we have ever found in GA! We had the Medianoche with plantain strips and shared a potato ball (Papa Rellena). If you have never had Cuban food, open yourself up to a food adventure and try it out! Also, great customer service!
