My first time trying food from the Bear's Den. I had their club sandwich with plain ruffle chips and dill pickle spear. It was very good, large and filling. No real negative about this classic sandwich except might have been tad better with some thinly sliced onion and some vinegar drizzled on it. But I would DEFINITELY eat this sandwich again and highly recommend trying this joint out.

I started with the caviar service, which was pure luxury -- beautifully presented and worth every bite. The oysters were incredibly fresh: cold, briny, and impeccably shucked. What really stood out was the ambiance -- it felt homey and chill, not stiff or overly formal like a lot of luxury dining spots. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. The octopus was a standout -- perfectly tender with an amazing char and layered flavors that felt both comforting and refined. And the NY lamb was absolute perfection: flawlessly cooked, deeply flavorful, and paired beautifully with the accompaniments. You can tell the kitchen pays attention to every detail. To end the meal, I had the pear sorbet, which was incredibly refreshing and the perfect light, elegant finish to an unforgettable dinner. Beyond the food, the atmosphere strikes that rare balance between upscale and welcoming, and the service was attentive without ever feeling overbearing. Charley, my waiter, was awesome -- knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience even better. Honestly, this meal competed with Michelin-star experiences I've had in both DC and NYC. If Michelin rated restaurants in this area, 1010 Bridge would absolutely deserve recognition. 1010 Bridge delivers the kind of dining experience you keep thinking about days later. Easily one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Can't wait to come back.

The bar staff was outstanding from start to finish. We had a few different bartenders taking care of us, and each one was attentive, friendly, and great at helping with recommendations. We ordered the New York steak and the Brussels sprouts special. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium, and the Brussels sprouts hit that ideal balance--crispy, flavorful, and just right. Everything we had was packed with flavor. The drinks didn't miss either--ice-cold beer and expertly crafted cocktails all around. If you find yourself in Charleston, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend.

My margarita was not good at all. So bad that I didn't even drink more than half which is just a sin when it comes to expensive cocktails. My husband's chicken sandwich had about as much chicken as a tiny tender strip. He left hungry. I had the steak special. Which had good flavors (as anything covered in cheese would) but if I'm paying $60 for a medium rare steak, it's a shame that it came out medium well. Roasted cauliflower was mid, I make better at home in my air fryer. Service was good but the waitress was pretty pushy with the extras like we were insane for not ordering appetizers and not letting her bring us a glass of 4 roses. Ambiance was fine. But the experience was not worth my money, not even if it was half the cost honestly.
