My husband and I booked Serendipity Event space for our baby shower for our first child. From…read morebeginning to the end, the experience was great. It was through a simple inquiry on their website and I was reached out to by Jenn that same day and scheduled for a virtual tour shortly after. Unfortunately, my husband and I work Monday to Friday 9 to 5 so we weren't able to visit in person for a tour, but we were able to do a virtual over FaceTime and that was definitely helpful. They were able to answer all of my questions. I initially reached out in May and was able to book something in the middle of September. Although we would've preferred to have our date be later in September their Saturdays tend to book faster so keep that in mind If you're planning to book sometime around September. They have customizable packages, which are very clear. We customized our package that included two hours of setup time & four hours for the event, table and chairs set up for 140 guests, added a balloon backdrop, flower wall, and Photo Booth. We paid less than what my husband and I paid for our wedding, with similar set up. So they proceeded very fairly! Something I also appreciated was that I was given a timeline of what to expect and when decisions needed to be made by. This helped a ton because my pregnancy brain has been struggling, so they always checked in to keep me on track. The experience was nice because we also got to interact with Magie and Shelby. Both helped coordinate everything following our deposit up until event day. Magie helped with getting any color pallette inspiration and things of that sort and then I was connected with Shelby. When my husband and I met Shelby in person, she was super sweet and made the whole experience super comfortable and answered all of our questions. She was very thorough regarding the plan, what to expect and so on. When we got to our walk-through in person, it was better than what we could've ever imagined. It's such a bright space especially in the day time. You have a nice blank canvas to make it more casual with some elegance and can dress it up to be very formal. The ceiling to floor curtains are a nice touch. On the day of the events, our tables and chairs were set up as planned, balloon backdrop was perfect and flower wall came up shortly after. We decided to do our own table decor. Their porters helped clean throughout the event in addition to helping with the Photo Booth really gave me a peace of mind throughout the event. Everything was clean and organized. Shelby was helpful when it came to us needing direction with the microphone when we played baby shower games. The balloon backdrop was such a great highlight and photo-op for us and our guests. Of course, the Photo Booth that everybody enjoyed using throughout the event was a hit as well. Shelby also designed the photo print out for the Photo Booth! The venue layout gave enough space to where we can comfortably walk around or guests we're able to put gifts around without feeling cluttered even with about 140 people plus or minus walking around and interacting. Our event time was from 1 to 5 PM so having all that natural light coming in did make the seats a little closer to the window on the warmer side however there was enough AC and an additional cooler to keep everyone cool And comfortable, which was important for us. Overall, our experience was 100 out of 10 and we could not have asked for anything better. All the staff were so sweet and it made something that could've been a very stressful event to plan very easy and we had an amazing time. Our guests keep complimenting how beautiful the event was. It makes it fun and you actually learn something and add some plants to your "want" list. They had 3 people helping with calling, showing plants and serving food. They have some food and drink options available, or there's a restaurant next door with some really yummy sandwiches. Our services were terminated with less than seven days' notice, even though there was no contract. We raised our concerns directly with the owner, but the issues were covered by saying 'you get a discount' not a meaningful way to respond in our opinion. We never asked or knew about a discount. Our advice is simple: get all pricing, service expectations, and termination terms in writing. Based on our experience, professionalism, communication, and accountability were lacking, and the way our account was handled left a disappointing final impression.

I was lucky enough to play TPC Summerlin where a PGA tour event is held annually. My friend has a…read morecontact with a member who hosted us to play. The price is very reasonable vs RBC Heritage in Hilton Head that I played last year. That course also hosts a PGA tour event, but costs nearly 3x as much as TPC Summerlin. The course is a challenging course that requires strategy on the tee shot. You have to aim at certain landmarks like bunkers and trees in the distance to set up your next shot. In addition, you can't just hit driver off the tee on every par 4 and 5 vs most courses. You have to be able to hit shorter clubs like a 3 wood and 5 wood. Lastly, the greens are fast, so if you are not careful you will find yourself 3-putting (normal is two putts, great if you one putt). Secondarily, the staff is one of the nicest I have met. Starting with Chris in the pro shop, to the marshal who hails from O'ahu, and the grill staff: Everyone is super friendly and nice. I hope I am able to play the course again. I like the layout: It is visually appealing. Be careful if you spray the ball though. There are lots of hazards. Bring lots of balls! LOL
