Visited the Town with a trolley ride, then walked over to Water Works. I learned some new things about our precious water supply. I appreciate the student art work exhibits that are housed in one of the restored houses in the Town.

What a fantastic place to walk and talk and experience desert gardens with my daughter! Road trippin excursion together... I lost my phone and everyone at Gardens helped us find it. Pete especially and the wonderful ticketing people were so helpful and friendly and kind!!! A must visit when you are here in Las Vegas. Tip: go early when they open at 9a... it gets hot this time of year... Look at my pictures! Love butterflies and the incredible landscape! Lots of parking. Bring your kids and dogs!! Love this place!!!

We have yearly membership. My kids don't get tired of it. We have been coming at least 3-4 times a year for the past 5 years. Our city grew so much. Hope we will be opening more museums and places like Springs preserve for our kids around town. All employees are super nice, welcoming and helpful.

    Butterfly Habitat in Spring

It's so beautiful and calm here! We love strolling around and learning the names of all the plants. Plenty of parking with covered shade but if it's gets full then park across at mall and walk over. If you're local, I recommend the $60 family membership that's annual and supports the preserve. The butterfly habitat is amazing since they have unique types and is only open for about 2 months each fall and spring season. They have activities on certain days with most on Saturday and Saturday that's for all ages but mostly for kids 5-12 years. The Preserve is sectioned off for different areas and there's a Teaching Garden Scavenger Hunt in the back. Plenty of air conditioned places like Sustainability Gallery if you get hot. The trails to hike/walk is 3.65 miles of trails and open from 9am-4pm. The Live Animal Exhibit has cute frogs and Mojave animals. The Springs Cafe has delicious fresh items and I like to get a smoothie or fresh baked cookie and chill on the outdoor deck overlooking the preserve with the Strip views. So much more to do here and at least 2 hours worth!

The Springs Preserve is such an underrated gem in Las Vegas especially if you have kids or just want something to do outdoors when the weather is nice. One of the biggest highlights is the seasonal butterfly habitat that runs for about six weeks in April and May. I highly recommend checking it out. It is easily one of my favorite parts of the SP. There's also a lot to explore beyond that. I loved the flash flood exhibit and just walking around the grounds. The cafe is an excellent stop too if you want to take a break. What surprised me is how affordable it is. For adult locals, it's under $10 and for kids it's less than $5, which feels like a steal for everything you get. Overall, it's a great spot that I think a lot of locals overlook.

I went to see the butterfly habitat, because who doesn't love butterflies? Decided to get a membership I'll have to go again before this exhibition ends. Everything from purchasing a membership, to seeing the exhibit went extremely well. We had to wait about 20 minutes to access the habitat, but Springs Preserve had large umbrellas up, as it was a warm day. Bye butterflies!!

We are locals and we have an annual pass that we got for my son's first birthday - It is the gift that keeps on giving. Fun way to spend time outdoors and learn about our beautiful state. We've been multiple times already and still have not seen everything! There is a great playground for kids, a splash pad (open seasonally), and most importantly - a coffee shop! There is also a train that kids love to ride that takes visitors to Boomtown. Highly recommended for visitors looking to take a break from the strip and locals with kiddos who need something fun and entertaining to do what isn't just another park. They also do a lot of events here, so keep an eye on the website for updates.

Came here for Earth Day and they had a lot of vendors and "free stuff" for educational purposes. Lots of unique plants and the rose garden along with the vegetable garden was cute. More geared for children or just a place to walk around. A bit underwhelming for adults that enjoy plants.

With over 30 different species of butterflies this enclosure will definitely brings you up close and personal to them. With the vast amount of butterflies present you're bound to have a few land on you, which, is what I experienced. If you love nature and butterflies this is a definite must see. However, this exhibit is seasonal and runs only from October 4 thru November 24th. So, with only a few weeks remaining, you might want to go soon. Although, I came for the butterflies there is much more to see. This venue encompasses over 175 acres and houses a fox, desert animals, museums and galleries depicting historical events and a room of actual costumes used in Las Vegas shows. A nice place for a family outing.

    Halloween decor

We came to visit In the beginning of October with my family and already had decorated for Halloween. They had the butterfly habitat which was nice. The nice weather and fall decor made it a great experience. I highly recommend visiting during the fall. At the garden area, an employee asked my kids if they wanted to plant a flower and so they were able to choose their flower, plant and water. The restaurant there was great and your admission includes admission to the museums.

Honestly the highlight of my day staying in Vegas. You can easily spend 3-4 hours with how many attractions they have here. For $18 I felt like it was worth it since you get to check out all the museums here and a botanical garden. A must see while visiting. Parking - Easy they a lot plus overflow parking.

What a great way to spend the day! I took advantage of the Museums For All program and got the hubby and kiddo out to see some butterflies! As a local of 10 years now it was my first visit and I'm so happy I waited until I was a Mom! My 8 month old loved everything and my husband enjoyed seeing him light up so that was everything All the attendants were so kind and helpful with any information we had Definitely coming back!

It's fun to go walk around anytime.Especially when they have the butterflies and when the weather is not super hot. We went for the Halloween. Party they had for the kids and grown ups were dressing up also. They had lots of candy stations and free bags To put the candy in. I will say. They were very stingy with the candy. One piece per station and most of it was twizzlers and dum dum suckers. However, on a good note. The raider tent had chocolate and was not stingy about giving it out. It was so fun. They gave us handfuls. Overall it was a fun night. We did pay $14 per person but the kids had a good time. That's all that counts.

Every room had something unique, and we found ourselves laughing, taking tons of photos, and trying to figure out all the mind-bending illusions. The staff was also friendly and even helped us take some of the best illusion pictures. Admission: Tickets are around $40-45 for adults and $33-38 for children (ages 5-12) when purchased online. Kids 4 and under are free. Hours: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM, so it's easy to fit into your schedule. Parking: We found the easiest place to park was the Aria self-parking garage, with an easy indoor walk to the museum. You can also park at the Cosmopolitan or 63 CityCenter valet, but all charge for parking. Nevada residents may receive free or discounted parking at some garages. Best Ages: I'd recommend it for ages 5 and up. Younger kids can still enjoy parts of it, but older children, teens, and adults really appreciate the illusions and interactive exhibits. Tips: * Plan to spend 45-90 minutes exploring. We also loved ending our visit at the ARTE Cafe, where our admission included a beautiful specialty drink that came to life with interactive digital art on the table--a really fun and memorable touch. Admission: Around $50-60 for adults and $40-50 for children (ages 4-12) depending on the day. Tickets that include the ARTE Cafe drink are about $5 more. Children 3 and under are free. We have both been to Las Vegas many times, and we hadn't ever visited the Mob Museum. So we decided to visit this time. We enjoyed the experience overall and would certainly recommend it to others. When we arrived, we paid for parking and went inside to pay for the Mob Museum experience. We were prepared to walk around and read a lot of information about the mob. We were pleased to learn when we arrived that there would be a former member of the mob speaking upstairs in just a few minutes. We quickly went upstairs and found a seat. The speaker was Frank Calabrese, Jr., who worked with the FBI to bring down his crime family in Chicago. He told us his story first-hand while telling us about his book and sharing slides as he spoke. This first-hand account was a great way to kick off our visit! After the speaker, we headed up to the third floor and started looking through exhibits and worked our way floor by floor down to the first floor and eventually to the basement. On the third floor, we learned about the birth of the mob, the start of organized crime, the founding of Las Vegas, prohibition, the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, Al Capone, the FBI fighting back, how several mob leaders were taken down due to smaller violations, and how organized crime spread. On the second floor, we learned about the Kefauver Hearings, the historic courtroom that became the Mob Museum in Las Vegas, the Mob eyeing Las Vegas, skimming from the casinos, Las Vegas going straight, the Mob infiltrating the police, and the Mob's greatest hits. On the first floor, we learned about how the FBI took down the Mob (or some of them), various stories about mob leaders, organized crime today (yes, the mob still exists!), use of force by the police, and the mob in popular culture. We also visited the Global Networks Touch Wall, the gift shop, and the Underground (speakeasy in the basement). While we didn't pay the extra fee to use them, there are interactive exhibit options for a Crime Lab, Firearm Training Simulator, and Distillery Tasting. The general admission cost is $34.95 per person to access exhibits without a discount. For an extra $15, you get access to exhibits and one interactive exhibit. For $5 more than that, you get access to exhibits and two interactive exhibits. There are discounts available to Nevada residents, students, law enforcement and military. You can also get tickets before 11 AM or after 5 PM to receive $7 off admission plus 20% off coupons on the internet. The Mob Museum is typically open daily from 9 AM to 9 PM. The Underground speakeasy and distillery is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 AM to 11 PM and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to Midnight. You should give yourself 1-3 hours to experience the museum. Definitely check out the Mob Museum at some point while you're in Las Vegas! Worth a visit!

Stuffed animal room was very neat to see, I have only seen animals like this in a museum in Elko Nevada. We moved on to the aquarium room, saw some small sharks, and some cool fish like puffer fish! We loved the dinosaur room and that would have been way cool if my kiddo was younger!!! The highlight for me, what I was here for was the Egyptian exhibit! Wow!!!! I learned sooooo much and can't belive the actual artifacts that are on display here!! They were absolutely amazing!! This exhibit alone was worth the money!! The machine that you could view the different layers of the mummy was phenomenal to experience!!!

Our kids loved all the interactive exhibits, especially the fossil dig, the moving sand table, and the hands-on play areas. There was plenty to keep them engaged, and they also enjoyed seeing the dinosaurs, marine life, and live animals throughout the museum. Admission: Around $15 for adults and $7 for children (ages 3-11). Kids 2 and under are free, making it an affordable family outing. Parking: Free parking is available, which was a huge plus. Tips: * Plan for about 2-3 hours to see everything. * The hands-on exhibits are the highlight, so allow extra time for those. * Great indoor activity, especially during the hot Las Vegas summer. The museum isn't huge, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, but it's clean, well maintained, and offers a fun, educational experience for young children. We'd definitely recommend it to families visiting Las Vegas!

Watching her with other customers, some of them needing extra help with things, was so reminiscent of times when people really mattered to businesses. Security, or maybe just helpers (?) have the patience of a saint. I got lost twice, and they helped me find my way. Granted one guy told me to just wait in the gift shop because everyone ends up there eventually. Well, yeah, after they're done which takes hours if you're into it. There's secret rooms, secret passageways, inside jokes, a treasure hunt type thing where you get your card scanned at each stop, and gift shops. The MeowWolf stuffie we bought was $30, but I don't think you'll find it anywhere else. Little fidget thing, like a Rubics Cube but more..... not cube? was $30. Even after it was solved it's fun to mess up and try again. The entry gift shop has all kinds of funny products, and some food that if you move has hidden things to see. It was fun. You can get your hand stamped to go to the food places. Prices are INSANE. No really. Trust me on this one. There is a place inside the area, but they had like three things. One is macaroni and cheese. lol. Very random. If you have kids expect them to be excited, have a fantastic time, but they'll be ready to leave long before it feels like the entry fee is worth it. There are rooms with flashing lights/seizure warnings, and a couple that made me feel a little dizzy. If you follow the loose story there's a computer to get your card stamped. Took someone in another group to catch it for us. Parking lot is large, locals park free. When we were there there wasn't even a setup to charge anyone to park, but I don't know if that changes. Our maps was wonky, but I'm seriously directionally challenged so maybe it was me. All in all I'm glad we went.

If you go in expecting a quick walkthrough or something you can half-pay-attention to, I can see why it might feel confusing or underwhelming. But if you take your time, start opening doors you're not sure you're supposed to open, and actually lean into the story and details, it becomes a completely different experience. There's so much layered into it visually and conceptually that I found myself going down rabbit holes (sometimes literally) trying to piece things together. It's chaotic in the best way. That said, it's not my favorite Meow Wolf location overall - but I still think it's absolutely worth a visit if you're in Vegas. Even on the lower end of their locations, it's still one of the more unique immersive art experiences you'll find anywhere on the Strip.

Quick search on Yelp & Google, and knew this was gonna be THE spot. With down time finally in our favor, we stopped by on a Monday afternoon. Took the elevator up and paid at the register. I asked if cash and/ or card are accepted, but it's card only. There are complimentary lockers available before walking into the museum. Watch the quick 2 minute video and away you go. Next to every display or immersive exhibit, you can read what is happening. And why you are experiencing this special effect. It's a great flow of exhibits. And if one particular area is crowded, you can continue on exploring. And return back to the previous one. Staff is so friendly with photo opportunity suggestions. * Restrooms are located near the slot machine/ pole dance area! There are WARNING signs if you have sensitivity to flashing/ strobing lights. Some rooms can be a bit darker while throughout the museum is well lit. The optical illusion to some of the exhibits can cause dizziness. Even the graphic geometric patterns you'll see throughout. Very budget friendly. And from a previous review I read on Yelp, you can also find discounts directly on their website. You'll exit at the gift sho

There are lots of interactive exhibits, old equipment, videos, and real historical artifacts. Learning about the atomic testing era and seeing how close the tests were to Vegas was fascinating. The museum is clean, well organized, and easy to explore at your own pace. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable too. The only downside is the ticket price felt expensive -- I honestly wish they charged a little less so that everyone could afford to experience and learn from this unique museum. Still, it's a very educational and worthwhile visit if you enjoy history, science, or museums.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how well the exhibits were set up and how much history is packed into one place. The museum does an excellent job explaining the science and history behind nuclear testing and the Manhattan Project in a way that was engaging for adults and older kids alike. We especially enjoyed seeing the historical artifacts, models, and detailed displays that brought such an important part of American history to life. The museum was clean, well organized, and easy to walk through at our own pace, and there were plenty of interesting things to see that sparked conversations among all of us. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we even spent extra time exploring the exhibits because there was so much to take in. Overall it was a fun, educational outing, and we definitely recommend it if you're looking for something a little different to do in Las Vegas. A great mix of science, history, and fascinating facts that left us all talking about what we learned long after we left!
