The grounds are beautifully kept and there's so much to do. We brought our kids as we were visiting from California and they really enjoyed it. The museum is very well curated and there were very friendly volunteers to help share info throughout the museum. The weather was too hot to enjoy anything outdoors, but it was still a wonderful time!

I took my 2 year old to springs preserve in march when the weather was in the 90s cause I saw that they had opened their splash park early this year. It was our first time and we really enjoyed it. It was a little crowded on a Saturday but this place is so big it wasn't uncomfortable at all. It did take us some time to figure out where the splash pads were and even with the map it was still confusing. It's basically tucked far away in the back behind the garden area. We did enjoy walking around the museums and learning about the rail roads, dams and plants. The also have a great cafetiria upstairs and it was a nice place to get a drinks and food and just cool down. My son enjoyed it and loved playing in the water. I'd definitely bring him back again.

We have yearly membership. My kids don't get tired of it. We have been coming at least 3-4 times a year for the past 5 years. Our city grew so much. Hope we will be opening more museums and places like Springs preserve for our kids around town. All employees are super nice, welcoming and helpful.

What a fantastic place to walk and talk and experience desert gardens with my daughter! Road trippin excursion together... I lost my phone and everyone at Gardens helped us find it. Pete especially and the wonderful ticketing people were so helpful and friendly and kind!!! A must visit when you are here in Las Vegas. Tip: go early when they open at 9a... it gets hot this time of year... Look at my pictures! Love butterflies and the incredible landscape! Lots of parking. Bring your kids and dogs!! Love this place!!!

Visited the Town with a trolley ride, then walked over to Water Works. I learned some new things about our precious water supply. I appreciate the student art work exhibits that are housed in one of the restored houses in the Town.

    Butterfly Habitat in Spring

It's so beautiful and calm here! We love strolling around and learning the names of all the plants. Plenty of parking with covered shade but if it's gets full then park across at mall and walk over. If you're local, I recommend the $60 family membership that's annual and supports the preserve. The butterfly habitat is amazing since they have unique types and is only open for about 2 months each fall and spring season. They have activities on certain days with most on Saturday and Saturday that's for all ages but mostly for kids 5-12 years. The Preserve is sectioned off for different areas and there's a Teaching Garden Scavenger Hunt in the back. Plenty of air conditioned places like Sustainability Gallery if you get hot. The trails to hike/walk is 3.65 miles of trails and open from 9am-4pm. The Live Animal Exhibit has cute frogs and Mojave animals. The Springs Cafe has delicious fresh items and I like to get a smoothie or fresh baked cookie and chill on the outdoor deck overlooking the preserve with the Strip views. So much more to do here and at least 2 hours worth!

The Springs Preserve is such an underrated gem in Las Vegas especially if you have kids or just want something to do outdoors when the weather is nice. One of the biggest highlights is the seasonal butterfly habitat that runs for about six weeks in April and May. I highly recommend checking it out. It is easily one of my favorite parts of the SP. There's also a lot to explore beyond that. I loved the flash flood exhibit and just walking around the grounds. The cafe is an excellent stop too if you want to take a break. What surprised me is how affordable it is. For adult locals, it's under $10 and for kids it's less than $5, which feels like a steal for everything you get. Overall, it's a great spot that I think a lot of locals overlook.

I went to see the butterfly habitat, because who doesn't love butterflies? Decided to get a membership I'll have to go again before this exhibition ends. Everything from purchasing a membership, to seeing the exhibit went extremely well. We had to wait about 20 minutes to access the habitat, but Springs Preserve had large umbrellas up, as it was a warm day. Bye butterflies!!

We are locals and we have an annual pass that we got for my son's first birthday - It is the gift that keeps on giving. Fun way to spend time outdoors and learn about our beautiful state. We've been multiple times already and still have not seen everything! There is a great playground for kids, a splash pad (open seasonally), and most importantly - a coffee shop! There is also a train that kids love to ride that takes visitors to Boomtown. Highly recommended for visitors looking to take a break from the strip and locals with kiddos who need something fun and entertaining to do what isn't just another park. They also do a lot of events here, so keep an eye on the website for updates.

With over 30 different species of butterflies this enclosure will definitely brings you up close and personal to them. With the vast amount of butterflies present you're bound to have a few land on you, which, is what I experienced. If you love nature and butterflies this is a definite must see. However, this exhibit is seasonal and runs only from October 4 thru November 24th. So, with only a few weeks remaining, you might want to go soon. Although, I came for the butterflies there is much more to see. This venue encompasses over 175 acres and houses a fox, desert animals, museums and galleries depicting historical events and a room of actual costumes used in Las Vegas shows. A nice place for a family outing.

    Halloween decor

We came to visit In the beginning of October with my family and already had decorated for Halloween. They had the butterfly habitat which was nice. The nice weather and fall decor made it a great experience. I highly recommend visiting during the fall. At the garden area, an employee asked my kids if they wanted to plant a flower and so they were able to choose their flower, plant and water. The restaurant there was great and your admission includes admission to the museums.

Honestly the highlight of my day staying in Vegas. You can easily spend 3-4 hours with how many attractions they have here. For $18 I felt like it was worth it since you get to check out all the museums here and a botanical garden. A must see while visiting. Parking - Easy they a lot plus overflow parking.

    Mallory D.

Came here for Earth Day and they had a lot of vendors and "free stuff" for educational purposes. Lots of unique plants and the rose garden along with the vegetable garden was cute. More geared for children or just a place to walk around. A bit underwhelming for adults that enjoy plants.

It is absolutely worth spending the extra money on the RIP All Access ticket. You receive a free Haunted Museum shirt, a badge and lanyard, and access to areas that are closed to general-admission guests. If you're already making the journey into one of the darkest collections in Las Vegas, you might as well unlock every forbidden door. For those seeking an even more intense paranormal experience, the museum also offers a Late Night Flashlight Ghost Tour. Guests are allowed to explore the darkened museum with flashlights and ghost-hunting equipment. It sounds like the closest you can get to conducting your own investigation--though after what happened to me, I'm not certain returning after midnight would be wise. You see, one of the dolls noticed me. Since leaving the museum, I have heard a woman whispering from the corner of my bedroom every night. At first, she only said my name. Now she tells me to come back. Last night, I woke up holding my RIP badge, even though I had locked it inside my suitcase. Still, this was easily the highlight of our Vegas trip and worth every penny. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Just be careful around the dolls, never look directly into their eyes, and before leaving, make certain nothing has decided to follow you home.

The other thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the insistence on having exactly 13 people in each group. I understand the whole "13" thing fits the theme, but 13 people felt like too many for some of the smaller areas we were in. I'd rather they choose a group size that actually works well for the spaces instead of sticking with 13 just for the novelty. That being said, there is SO much interesting stuff inside this museum. We did the four-hour tour, and I honestly still felt like I didn't have enough time to take everything in. There are so many objects and stories that I wanted to remember. One thing I really wish they offered is a little paper or card where you could jot down notes. They are very adamant about not getting your phone out during the tour, which I understand, but I would have loved to write down the names of some of the objects so I could go home and watch the episodes or documentaries about the stories behind them. Overall, I'm glad I went. There's a lot to see and some genuinely fascinating history behind the objects. Just save yourself the extra money and stick with the regular tour. I'll probably go back again and take a notepad and something to write with so that I can try to look up more detail on some of the objects.

A little more context to some of the blurbs would have been nice, but then again there is already a LOT of information and many names involved. I did learn a lot of interesting history, and enjoyed the museum even without a prior interest in the subject matter. There were many parts of the museum that were fascinating, but I do think the highlight of our trip was listening to the speaker Frank Calabrese Jr. who was previously involved with the mob through his family. I feel like the trip to the museum wouldn't have been complete or as memorable without hearing his story. The speakeasy was also pretty cool, although I wished coming in from within the museum there would have been a little more "secrecy" or a password. The drinks were pretty good. Before we even got there, we tried one of the new Zoox autonomous vehicles that are currently operating as part of a free pilot program in Las Vegas. It seats up to four people, the ride was smooth, the air conditioning was wonderful in the Vegas heat, and you can even choose the lighting ambiance inside the vehicle while listening to either the built-in music or your own phone. The only downside was figuring out the pickup location. If you've never used the service before, you may find yourself wandering around for a few minutes trying to find the correct pickup spot. As for the museum itself, the tickets were not inexpensive, but I felt they were a fair value considering the experience and the opportunity to see genuine Titanic artifacts that most people will never have the chance to see in person. Seeing "The Big Piece" alone made the visit worthwhile. One thing that surprised me was the atmosphere. I've walked through the Luxor many times and have never personally felt anything despite all the haunted stories people tell. The moment we stepped into the Titanic exhibit, though, my entire chest tightened. Whether it was the music, the lighting, or simply the weight of the history surrounding those artifacts, the feeling caught me completely off guard. The exhibit itself is immersive, with photographs, music, recreated spaces, and historical information that really helps you imagine what life aboard the ship was like. At the beginning, each visitor receives a boarding card with the name and story of a real passenger or crew member. At the end of the exhibit, you discover that person's fate and see their photograph. It was such a simple idea, but it made the experience feel much more personal and emotional. If you enjoy history, I would absolutely recommend visiting at least once. It was thoughtful, respectful, educational, and genuinely moving.
