I can't begin to share how beautiful our wedding was thanks to Edwin and his team. The service was amazing, the team was all friendly, it smelled nice in there, it was all well organized, thoughtful, and everyone went beyond our expectations. I'm sad to see any negative reviews, you can't please everyone but just go in for yourself for a consult. You will fall in love. Highly recommended and telling everyone to book their event there ! Extremely unprofessional. The owner/manager was incredibly rude over something so simple. My husband forgot his physical ID and only had a picture (which many places accept or at least explain politely). Instead of handling it professionally, he took a picture of the drink he wanted in a mocking way and said "here" like we were doing something wrong. When I said I didn't want anything anymore, he snatched the drink back with the worst attitude. Disrespectful, hostile, and unnecessary. Will never come back. I have been waiting for the right time to write out this review for El Palacio Del Sol, Edwin and staff, and our event. My sisters took my daughter to check el Palacio del Sol out for her quinceanera. She loved the inside of the venue and told us she wanted her event there. I was able to make an appointment for a week after and was walked through the venue with Edwin. He briefly showed us the venue, bathrooms and their decorated tables for us to have an idea. We went into Edwin's office and he was explaining the packages we could choose from, what they came, and the costs. He answered all of my extra questions like if we add something, the cost of it, or if we'd be able to substitute something else for the package cost. (I.E.- if we wanted red meat and no chicken, or extra salad, tortillas for food, etc.) We got a package that included dinner, a Photo Booth, mariachi, food, a DJ, cake, a party bus, and of course the decorations of the tables, and full staff to assist the night of. Our original contract, with us substituting one of our entrees with meat and no chicken, was about $8,000. That came with a full set up, staff handling the serving of the food, drinks, and clean up. We contracted our photographer who usually works with the venue and Edwin, and they were very good at talking to each other the day of about the timing they'd show up to take pictures before the guests arrived. We were able to use their projector for their slideshow at no extra cost. Using Palacio del Sol for my daughter's event was the best choice we made. We were able to schedule and reschedule with them, we were able to call and communicate with Edwin when we needed to. The food was amazing, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a tiny issue of the DJ, he messed up the songs; but the guests didn't know the songs, so they didn't notice! Give palacio a try, they're worth all the money you pay, and the service you'll get from Edwin and his staff is worth it! read more

Family that put full $ for an event for January 2026 was refused even some money back when canceling. The mother who booked lost one of her daughters and needed to cancel. Company is heartless. Wanting to move locations and wanting money back is one thing but refusing due to one of her kids dying and having to cancel is another. Awful and shameful. The DJ didn't play not one song from the playlist provided to him and even played his own remix of the song for the vals. This is based off the tour. We didn't end up booking with them. We scheduled a tour for 6:30. It seems like they booked other appointments as well. So we waited a bit. A lady ended up giving up the tour. This is going based on other viewings we have done. The most blank information. Like here's this and that's it. It's a nice hall. But something had a smell in there. They we get sat down to wait a bit more to talk about pricing. In a closet room. So unorganized. You have a beautiful venue with more potential and you get this as your selling base?, it was a no. He didn't want to book us for a Saturday because we had a small party which is fine. Had the best wedding! We had both our ceremony and reception here and everything flowed so seamlessly. The venue was everything we could have asked for... venue manager Edwin was so kind and attentive throughout the night and always got back to us when we had questions during the planning stages. We hired palacio del sol for our sisters wedding! Dec 18th, 2021. Despite the horrible (Canelo voice) and I mean horrible way the banquet hall conducted themselves as a business providing hospitality. We as a family still celebrated the bride and groom on they're special day and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. WARNING!!! make sure you have everything in writing when dealing with these bozos! They will promise you things and once you paid and question them about what was promised they will tell you was it in writing or in the contract. They will butter you up when you go walk the hall just to treat you like crap the day of the event. Edwin was in charge of the banquet hall and you can tell this guy just had a stick up his ass! Everyone that was a part of the wedding had to really use the restroom after a fun ride in the party bus. We arrived 10min early all we asked is if the lady's can use the restroom. We where denied entry! Can you believe that? You spend couple thousand on the event and they won't accommodate an early 10min arrival to use the freaking bathrooms! The bathrooms where horrendous by the way. They posted signs asking not to flush the toilet paper. No one ever came to clean the over flowing trash bins! The food was okay not bad not great either. It what you expect from a Hispanic hall! Pot roast beef rice and salad. The soft drinks tasted slightly flat. The servers where on it so kudos to them. The bar was dimmed lite. Bartender didn't seem to know what he was doing! Edwin proved us with tickets for free drinks because this bozo was charging the guests for alcoholic drinks. Once again WARNING! get everything in writing. We were told by the banquet hall that those tickets are for free alcoholic beverages. That was it never specified as to what type of drink you can get! Day if the event there is Edwin again with another surprise that those tickets are only for beer and the worst margaritas iv ever tasted! Disgusting! So after everyone ate now it's time to dance and jam out! We hired a band that traveled all the way from Chicago! They arrived at the venue and to our surprise Edwin the guy with the stick up his ass comes and starts commanding us to go open the back for for them! Umm my guy we hired you that's part of your job! He said nope you have to go open the door for them! Also remember those ten minutes early we got to use the restroom! We'll Edwin shut the party down 10min earlier then the 1am time that was in the contract! We should of looked at the reviews and hopefully next person sees them! You don't wanna do business with them they don't keep they're word! And to Edwin I hope the Day comes where you can finally remove that stick that's so far up your ass! My family and I celebrated my daughters quinceañera at this beautiful venue. I don't even know where to start, everything was amazing from the very first hour to the last. The party coordinator Maria she was amazing besides helping us giving our guest and amazing experience she was also hands on with the rest of the staffing much respect for that. En nuestra experiencia estuvimos participes en la boda de mi Primo. Antes de la boda este lugar se aprovecho de la pandemia para poner cargos extras y quitar servicios a los cuales ofrecian. Esto fue super estresante para los Novios ya eran momentos de estres por las circustancia de la pandemia los representantes se mostraron con zero empatia hacia esto momentos dificiles. Al cancelarles la fecha de 9/2020 por la pandemia y regulaciones les ofrecieron fechas a las cuales no era convenientes para los novios. Por ejemplo ellos se querian casarse en 9/2021 para coincidir con la fecha anterior y el salon le dio prioridad a otro evento dandoles la fecha. Despues de les dierobn fecha de Diciembre a lo cual muchos invitado no pudieron ir por ser tan cercas a Navidad y las fiesta por fin del ano. Despues de tanto ajetreo se dio la boda, era su dia mas esperado pero al llegar al salon los de seguridad se reusaron a dejarnos entrar que el contrato decia que hasta las 6pm. Les pedimos de favor porque despues de las fotos teniamos que ir al bano. Lo que mas me afecto fue que mi nina de 4 anos ya no se pudo aguantar y se me mio, fue muy desesperante al cual senti coraje y volvi a tocarles que nos dejara entrar y en ese momento nomas queria cambiar a mi nena que llorando me decia que ya no se pudo aguantar y que la su vestido estaba mojado de su pipi y ya no se miraria como princesa. A mi me partio el corazon porque le tuve que quitar su bonito vestido. Durante las fiesta el DJ como que no sabia hacer presentaciones por que al yo apeidarme igual que los novios pensaria que pudiera pronunciar mi apeido, equivocandose varias veces en los nombres. Se le pidieron canciones y el DJ no ponia las canciones. Otra cosa los banos requieren areglos las puertas no le sirven los pasadores no ceravan las puertas y el papel de los sestos nunca los limpiaron estaban llenos por que no se podian tirar en el bano, el jabon no servia tampoco ni espuma hacia. El barista le hechaba puro hielo al vaso y los refrescos sabian sin gas. Al final lo que derramo el vaso fue que pararon la fiesta antes de tiempo y les dijieron que se tenia que parrar la musica. Los cuales faltaban 15 minutos antes delo acordado. Su contestacion del encargado fue que entramos 6 personas antes de lo que estipulaba el contrato. ( 3 mujeres con 3 ninos) fuimos los unicos para usar el bano. Al estar despidiendo los invitados la gente del servicio fueron cortantes de que nos teniamos que salir casi coriendo los invitados. Apurandonos rapido tuvimos que sacar los regalos y asegurarno de que no nos faltara nada. Pero con tanto apuro se me olvido mi mochila de la nina y uno objectos personales de ella. Esta fue nuestra desafortunada experiencia y creo que estaria aqui teclando por otro rato si explicara todos los detalles de nuestra mala experiencia. I had my wedding reception on 1/16/16 at chandelier banquet hall and everything was amazing! Except for the dj. Every one loved, the venue. We got so many compliments on everything. The staff was amazing. Neri my event coordinator was the best, super attentive with my husband and I. The food was delicious, so was my cake, beautiful too by the way. The place was super clean. I had a photo Booth and my guest loved it. I highly recommend the photo Booth. Now to the dj, he played what he wanted, even tho I asked him multiple times to change the music..we even spoke the day before and he knew what kind of music I wanted.a lot of my guest left early because of the music selection and because of how loud the music was.. Owned by a Latino establishment (no offense, half my friends are Latino). Usually, quinceaneras are held here. I was attending a debutant for the night as part of the 18 roses (Filipino style). The area itself was already sketchy enough coming to find out it was across "The Green Door" in Village Square Commercial Center on Sahara Blvd. Security greets you at the entrance and takes your ticket to enter the establishment. Walking in, the place is decorated real nicely (hence the extra star) until you start looking at the ceilings and wall edges to capture all the water spots and unrepaired areas. The music/DJ was the worst! Seemed that treble was the definition of music to them. Music was either obnoxiously loud or it would be the wrong music at the wrong time. It so bad, that my cousin had to take over... Hosts and hostess did their part by serving everyone drinks. Food is cooked by them so guess what cuisine we had for the night?! I absolutely adore Mexican food, but their entrees were not very pleasing. I recommend catering from else where...that is if they even let you (good luck). I saw the effort they were putting in to stay up and running, although it's the little things that matter too. Aside the eardrum bursting music, fortunately the majority enjoyed the event. I had my wedding here on 06-02-2018 and they did an amazing job!! Yaneth went above and beyond with our ceremony set up and the decorations were exactly what we wanted! It wasn't the easiest for all of us since we live in WA state, so a lot of our planning was done over the phone. You have a couple of options when choosing the food, but it was all great! For the reviews on here talking bad about it being "Surprise Mexican food", well that is what the person throwing the party wanted, can't blame the venue for that. Anywho, we decided on Mexican style food, Birria and their Poblano Chicken Pasta and we are STILL getting compliments on how great the food was! Winning! The cake, we chose chocolate and vanilla, was a hit as well! The DJ did drop the ball twice BUT I will partly take fault since I did not give him anything until the day of the wedding. After that, the DJ did a great job of keeping everyone on the Dance floor! The Mariachi they hired were great too! The only complaint we have is that it was too hot. They had 2 big fans in the front, but they need another 2 in the back of the venue and that would make a BIG difference. Once everyone started drinking, it was no longer an issue lol! I had my wedding reception at this Venue in October. I was very pleased with the presentation of the banquet hall itself. They do a great job of decorating. However, the food is mediocre. The drink policy with tickets is very tacky. The worst part of this venue is the terrible service. You are led to believe that you will be dealing with one person but every meeting its a different person. What each staff members says is inconsistent. I was extremely disappointed with the way the staff kept going back and forth with me. I was suckered in by the price and the fact that I am Hispanic. I had my wedding at Chandelier Banquet Hall my coordinator was Axel. He acts like he knows it all and tells you he will make your moment memorable. He's not wrong at all!!!!!! I specifically told him I will not deal with anyone else but him in our first meeting. He told me he would be there the whole way with me. He freaken lied!! I show up to my venue and he's no where to be found mind you I had seen him personally Thursday before the wedding for the last minute details and spoken to him the day of my wedding. Neither times did he mention he was not going to show up. I had sent him via text my very detailed itinerary (with times, songs to dance etc.) The Dj which also runs the show had no idea of this we had to hand write an itinerary for him on the spot. Poor guy was so lost trying to do his job. Once this was fixed and dinner was over we had a chocolate bar and a candy bar for our guest. They only put the chocolate bar and had no idea again about the candy bar. The staff got to it right away and had it up within 5 minutes. Axel made so many mistakes for my celebration. He is not professional, it's all a front. I do not wish to book with their business ever again. He did not have the courtesy of at least letting me know he could not show up for X reason. You see idk what's more important than a 400 people venue. I paid $13,000. THE REST OF THE STAFF THAT AIDED AT MY WEDDING WAS WONDERFUL.THEY WORKED HARD AND APOLOGIZED FOR AXEL'S MISTAKES. This was an amazing place to held our wedding, Yanet was very helpful during this process, she helped us out a lot when our event was literally a month an a half away when another banquet hall had cancelled on us. There was a different coordinator for the day of the event but she was amazing as well (I forgot her name), made everything easy and I felt I had my event in good hands and that's the way it turned out, I was notified of everything going on at all times. I am sharing the most horrible day of my life, my wedding day. When we talked to a "Manager" from there Axxel, about booking this venue from the beginning you could tell it wasn't professional whatsoever. His sale tactics were not slick at all, you could tell he just wanted to make the most money he could. We still decided to book this venue because of its size, pricing was not as bad and I fell in love w the decoration. I was to bring the cake, the DJ, drinks and centerpieces. When we chose the food there was another manager "Lilly" who attended us with what we decided on, she said it would be taken care of. That same day, I chose the way I wanted our tables decorated and their assistant "Maria" took a picture of what I had chose and told me it would be all attached to my contract and it would be taken care of. I also asked her if we wanted to bring extra food would there be a table where we could put the extra food on and how much would it be. She stated that it would be free to set up the table. She even showed me a picture of how it was done in the past so I kept that in mind. I want you all to know that we paid the amount in full about 2 weeks we first met .You would think that being about 8 months from the wedding itself and having paid in full they would really take care of you. Months passed, I went back because I wanted to add more food that I would bring myself and serve it after the buffet was done. So I spoke to Axxel I was very clear to him what I wanted,he told me that he was going to charge me $100 just for a table where the food was going to be placed. I then mentioned to him what Maria had said to me and he told me that she didn't know what she was doing that she was new there. I spoke to my fiancé at the time and we decided to do it even though it seemed absurd that he was charging me $100 just for a table. I paid the extra $100 and we went over everything in the package. As we were going through the package he tells me you still need to pick your food and how you want your tables decorated. Honestly, from then on I had lost all respect towards him because of how unorganized they were. I had to sit there and tell him we had already did that and had to retell him everything I wanted. It was very frustrating. After we went over details he told me that he wanted to upkeep the reputation of his venue and that I had nothing to worry about. That they were professional. The day before the wedding my maid of honor and I brought everything. Maria and Axxel were both there and they had told me that I just needed to show them how to set up 1 centerpiece and they would do the rest themselves. I asked them if they had everything under control they said yes. I showed Maria how to set up one centerpiece and at the end she said that she wanted me to do them. My Maid of honor and I sat there for about and hour and a half setting up all the centerpieces and Maria left to attend other people. I was so irritated but didn't want them to mess anything up so I just did them all. After I was finished I went to look for Maria she still was busy 30 minutes later she apologized and thats when I asked her about the extra table we had paid for. She looked at my contract and she said she didn't know anything about it. She went to talk to Axxel then came back and said don't worry he said it was fine. I asked her three times are you sure its fine she said yes. Wedding day came I needed last few things brought over like Ice for the drinks my mother went to drop those off She had bought 15 bags . Right after the ceremony I received a text from someone in the venue stating that they needed 35 more bags of ice or they would charge me $200. We got to the venue there were no servers anywhere they were all in the back the tables were not decorated the way I said and on top of that 2 hours in Axxel decides to argue with me in front of everyone about the extra food that was brought in. They didn't serve the champagne they didn't follow the program I had to run back and forth to attend my own guests. Most of my guests didn't show up we had a quarter of venue full and even then, they didn't take care of the little that were there. I wanted to cry everything was wrong. We left the venue an hour early. My maid of honor stayed taking all of the things that were extra and they didn't even give her all of it back. I had to call Maria from my honeymoon and ask her about everything that was left over that they kept. She then told me the "OWNER" Francisco wanted to make up to me my bad experience and wanted to talk to me after the I came back. I called Maria to set up my meeting with Francisco to this day they have not reached out. After all the hard work of saving money doing extra for our own day please save your money save yourselves from heartbreak. I NEVER want to remember this day. This place is a joke, the decorations may be nice but the staff is rude especially the securities. They harassed my daughter the entire night and picked on us for every little thing they could find. They made it extremely uncomfortable and impossible to have fun. They would not let girls with heels take them off for a second to rest their feet. They are not educated on the laws of drinking and are constantly harassing everyone for their id's threatening to kick people out who ironically payed for the venue. They even closed the bar for an hour which is ridiculous considering it was paid for. & at the end they always try to find something wrong with the place to blame you for so they can keep your deposit, don't fall for it. Please don't rent this place awful experience, Manager / Owner Lily will tell you everything will be ok and in your way until the event day and then you will see her real side it will ruin your event day like it did mine. Even 1 Star is not right for this place. read more
