IPL sessions are fast, but again, no frills. Personally, I don't do them for a heated flower and water filled pillow, spa towel wrap, soothing music, scented air and dim lighting. Those things are nice, but I want results. Holly gives me great results. Not having all of the froo froo stuff, but paying less than places that do? Works for me! Hollly's experienced and very knowledgeable. My results were better here than at Ann Webb spa, if that tells you anything. They also offer a variety of other services, like injectables, cool sculpting, yag, etc. Be sure to request Holly and you won't be disappointed. One more thing, the salon can be hard to find at first. It's on the second level of the shopping plaza, next to a tattoo shop.

I am black and had my previous 5 treatments with a revolving door of technicians so perhaps that lack of continuity on the business end contributed to my current situation. Their pricing looks great at $10/unit, but after my recent experiences, I honestly do not think it is worth it. The last time I got Botox there, I barely saw a difference. I went back two weeks later for a touch-up, and still barely noticed any improvement. At first, I thought maybe my face had gotten used to Botox since I've been getting it for over 10 years. I ended up trying Dysport somewhere else, and it worked right away. About a year later, I decided to give Beautiful Solutions another try and got Xeomin. The results were awful. I came back two weeks later, and the injector touched it up with Botox because we thought maybe my body just didn't respond to Xeomin. When I asked how many units I had received the first time, I found out it was way under the 50 units I paid for. That was really frustrating. I was paying for units I apparently did not receive, and the results showed it. I ended up going somewhere else for Botox before summer, and it worked just fine, so I clearly was not immune to Botox or Xeomin. I believe I was just severely under-injected. To make it worse, they ask for a tip at checkout. By the time I paid for the treatment, touch-ups, and then had to go somewhere else to fix it, this ended up costing me over $900 when it should have been closer to $500. I went there because I thought I was saving money, but I ended up spending more and getting poor results. I would avoid this place and just pay normal pricing somewhere reputable. You'll likely get what you actually pay for.

I came in for laser hair removal on my lip and chin, and I now have more hair than when I started. Because I had never shaved my face before, the shaving required for the treatments has completely altered my hair growth and left me in a worse position. A major issue is the lack of consistency. There is a constant shift in the staff performing the service. While the rotating staff obviously know they are treating my lip and chin, they have absolutely no idea whether there has been any actual improvement because no single person tracks your progress over time or knows what specific areas to focus on. When I brought up that my hair is actively worse than when I started, their only solution was to suggest I go on a maintenance plan, that is 70% off. I understand that maintenance may be needed eventually, but that should be for after a successful period of time. Pushing a maintenance plan right away when the initial treatment failed and made the problem worse feels incredibly tone-deaf. For the price and the promises made, I expected much better results and continuity of care.

There was no proper assessment of my skin to determine the appropriate wavelength or energy settings; I was simply told a "medium" setting would be used for a first session for safety. The treatment itself felt rushed, and during the session I noticed that some areas were being missed. Although I shared my past results, I was told by Fairy that IPL can't remove dark spots or freckles, which contradicts both my experience and widely available information about the treatment. After the session, I didn't experience any of the typical post-treatment reactions, such as redness, and I saw no results in the weeks that followed. Overall, this felt like a combination of outdated equipment and limited experience with delivering effective IPL results. I wouldn't recommend this spa for IPL.
