I chose one of the specials, which was a pork loin served with garden fresh peas and pea greens (read the shoots, incredibly good) and crisp broccoli, as well as a purée of potatoes with chorizo. The puddings have been a bit of a let down specifically the rhubarb crumble which is more just rhubarb and custard and only a smidgen of crumble. It's just extremely cozy and nice. If you wanna meet locals, go there as they will hang out there. Full bar with reasonable prices and really good, home cooked and traditional food like bangers and mash or Mac and cheese. The owner himself and his wife are running the pub and we will most definitely return soon to try out other foods and drinks and to soak up the atmosphere on a cold autumn night.
