This place has the best selection of beers, ciders, and ales around. If you love beer, and I do, you will love this place. The staff are super friendly. You can choose from over 1000 beers. So if there was some strange or exotic brew that you somehow can't find, you can bet they have it. They are super friendly and know their stuff, and if you have questions they are polite and helpful. For years West Seattle was a beer desert. Nice spots with wide arrays of high quality beers didn't exist. Then enters the beer junction, that changed the craft/micro brew game in this part of the city. Over 30 beers on tap to try, great atmosphere to hang out with friends or just fly solo and chat about beers with the staff. The staff knows their stuff and they stock just about every beer imaginable. Whether it's a bottle, a growler fill, or just a pint right there in the shop, they have you covered. I went there during the street fair and expected it to be packed but thankfully it wasn't too crowded! The air conditioning and cold drinks were the perfect combination for a hot day. The staff was so helpful with helping us pick our drinks! Definitely coming back! read more

I really appreciate the great selection of beer and cider available at this place. Unfortunately their success has driven me to only go there during quieter hours when I can find a place to sit. They regularly serve cask conditioned beer which I have become quite fond of since visiting UK. Although I think it's good that they are doing this I do wish they would take greater care in storing and serving it. Sediment in the bottom of the glass, lots of it, is not normal. In England they would offer you another pint. Apparently not here. My search for the proper pint in Seattle continues . . . read more

Wow! the new location really brings the Beer Junctions look style and brews all together. The Beer is even easier to find and still scaled from light to dark. Brightly lit refrigerated cases show off Morgans talent to select many fine brews from all around the world! The Bar is great , the new staff is awesome and willing to help you find and talk about any beer. The rotating growler fill taps is a nice addition too. The selection is excellent. Not much more one could need in a tap House. I also love that they have guest brewery events. My only complaint is the somewhat pretentiousness of the staff. I was there by myself and they weren't busy but the bartender seemed like he couldn't be bothered with me or my order. It probably won't keep me from going to get drinks to go but I won't likely hang out. Not the first I've heard of the bar staff being stuffy but it is the first time I've actually experienced it. read more

After my second time here, I doubt I will be back. While they have an amazing selection in house, the staff is a bit lacking. My boyfriend and I asked one of the two workers about a couple different types of ciders they stocked and if he would recommend them. The young man answered in an annoyed tone that he hadn't tried them and didn't know. I'm OK with him not knowing but he could have offered something that he has tried and liked or something that was a big seller and popular with other customers. Nope! Nothing! Sorry we were interrupting you while you were working! After my boyfriend and I made our selections and paid we went to sit down. Luckily my cider had a twist off lid. Unfortunately my boyfriend's beer did not. He asked the gentleman at the bar if he could borrow a bottle opener to open his beer and was told he would have to pay a $.50 "corking fee". As this was our first time actually buying any drinks my boyfriend thought the bartender maybe thought he brought in his own drink (which is allowed and an awesome idea) and showed him the receipt showing that he had just bought the beer from them. The bartender said that due to the "wholesale" prices of their beer selections, if they don't charge $.50 per bottle to be opened, they will lose money. Not sure if I believe their logic but if that's the way they practice business, I doubt we will be back. read more

I came here on a Saturday night and thought this place was amazing. If you enjoy a good beer and a fun environment than this is the place to be in West Seattle. The servers are all extremely knowledgeable, the environment is laid back and casual, and it's a pretty interesting place overall. They keep a good amount of beer's on tap and have plenty of other beers and spirts in the refrigerators or shelves towards the rear. They also sell the glasses that are specific to the different beer brands. You could spend months/years trying all of the various types of beers they keep but trust me you'll want to take on that challenge with how great their setup is. The Beer Junction is an excellent place to go with your buddies, try a couple beers, and engage in a conversation. They have a couple standing-only tables in the back, and no tv's so it really promotes a friendly/talking environment. I like this place a lot and I'll definitely be back. read more

To be honest. I don't even think this place deserves a level of 1 star as it was the worst service I have ever experienced. The way they made me feel was extremely shaming. For example, when I ordered my drink I apologized for trying two different types of beers as I know as a server, the level of annoyance is high. However he rolled his eyes and made me feel invalidated and expressed his feelings of feeling of being annoyed. Following this event, there was an expo dry erase marker at my table near the window. I took it upon myself to write an encouraging message on the window and he quickly ran up to me and laughed at my encouraging message and asked me to never write on his window. He shook his head in one of the most condescending manners I've ever felt. The level of shame and embarrassment I felt is a way I've never felt before. The consistency of this negative attitude was relevant among all staff. Please do not support this establishment as they do not provide an environment that is encouraging to all walks of life. read more

You should know this before going....apparently. My boyfriend and I went here for the 1st time this Saturday. Our first round I got a draft cider and he got a bottled beer from the store side and pizza. We left the tab open. Our second round, my boyfriend picked out an assorted 6 pack of gluten free bottled beer to take home, and a canned beer and a bottled fruit beer for me to drink there. He sat down at our table after closing out and tipping the bartender in cash 30%. We then realized I needed my bottled fruit beer opened, so my boyfriend went up to the bartender, and he was then charged $1.50 for a "corking fee". My boyfriend was surprised but paid the fee of course. We were having a great day and time. When we were finished with our second round, the bartender came over to our table, in front of a packed room, and said, " if you ever come here again and drink without paying the corking fee I will kick you out". Ok dude, that totally makes sense. We sat in your business for over an hour, got pizza, two rounds, a 6 pack to go, tipped you 30% in cash, and were fightin the system all the way on your "corking fee" for a canned beer (which he was referring to). Wow!!! NEVER going back!!! read more
