Went here while in town and enjoyed my experience! It's a cute and very small wine bar/shop that specializes in natural wines. I had a small idea of what natural wines are, but had never tried any before. The bartender allowed us to try a couple of the wines before settling on one, which was great! The way natural wines were described to me (taste-wise) by someone I was with was that they have "the funk" that farmhouse beers have - which was spot on to me after I tasted the wine. I did find one wine that I enjoyed and ended up having a glass of that and was $12.00. There's very limited seating, with a padded bench area in the back with pillows, about 3 seats at the bar, and a long high-top table with some chairs at that as well. There's also some outdoor seating if it's nice out and seems like there's a food truck on site as well for food. You can choose to buy a bottle of wine at the shop and open that for an additional cost to drink on-site. They also have a selection of wines to enjoy by the glass, but it will be different every time you go, as their wines by the glass are dependent on whatever bottles are currently open that day. read more

Almost don't want to share this place because it's such a hidden gem. I love how cozy and hidden it is.. There are plenty of wines to try and most of them are spain, france, etc. Decor is really cute too and they play different music everytime we go. We order food from the next door such as brie sandwich and bring it here to enjoy with wine. We brought our dog and they were super friendly as well! This place is awesome and the staff are super helpful. I stopped in looking for some organic local wine and they had several options. Personally I find the less crap in the wine the less likely I am to feel hungover. I've done the research, let's go with it. Anyways, I ended up with a very reasonable priced bottle at twenty bucks and enjoyed it thoroughly. The kind person who helped me said they get new kinds in all the time and they do case discounts which is wonderful if you find something you really like! This has become my go to spot for quality, local wine. They're friendly, knowledgable, and have a great selection at fair prices. Well done Left bank! Fantastic! Decided to give this place after work and we were not at all disappointed. Lots of options available for people. I had two glasses of red wine. The person work was friendly and knowledgeable. My friends ordered flights which are dealers choice and they enjoyed the variety of the wines they got. The space is small and intimate. My gal and I absolutely adore this place. South Park is definitely an underrated 'hood within our fair city (but I think the residents prefer it that way). One of the great things about this place is a knowledgeable owner/curator and the fact he focuses ONLY on natural wines. We were in heaven-- the tasting cost is quite reasonable and the bottles are worth the money (albeit not necessarily cheap) because they're next-level bottles. Yay for South Park!!! This is a great tiny wine bar!! And it is tiny, so hope you don't mind getting close and comfy with the regulars!! Not only do they have amazing selections or wine by the glass you can also buy the bottles at a great price! And if wine isn't your thing they do have cheap beer! The place is super cute and unique, love that the bars have hooks for purses and jackets! Super comfy couch seating area. The bathroom is outside and has a key to get into it! Service was amazing and super friendly! Oh also this place gets hot if it's warm outside so dress in layers!!! read more

I live down the street from Left Bank and am so happy I finally mustered up the courage to go one night. Even though I'm 30 something and run a food business I've always lacked wine knowledge. Anyway, it's not too late to learn about wine and the folks at Left Bank definitely don't make you feel bad or stupid about it. This place if just fine for a wine bar but I think wine bars are just not my thing. We do a lot of wine tasting and I like talking about wine but this was kind of weird to just choose a varietal from the chalk board on the wall and then get info on where it came from while he is pouring it. I also kind of expected it to be local wines but we ended up drinking french wine. I suppose there is nothing wrong with that but it wasn't what I was expecting. I was thinking they were going to be connected to a sales outlet for a few local wineries. There was only one other couple in there on a rainy friday night so we were able to talk the whole time with the bartender. We enjoyed ourselves but I'm still not sure this is my thing... Quaint wine bar in the south end. Packed on a Friday. Excellent use of small space , wines on the wall. Great choices on wine, we brought home roses and the bottles they were featuring, which were from Spain and the wine maker was there that evening. Friendly atmosphere. I'm a local and have been meaning to check this place out for awhile. I was having my car serviced across the corner and was facing a walk home during a heatwave. I only intended to walk up to the front door to check their hours so I could come back at a later time, but decided to pop in since they were open. I was pleasantly surprised that they had AC so I decided to stay and have a glass. A nice patron (neighbor) gave me a taste of her bottle, which was a yummy rose'. I ended up having a couple of glasses while getting to know the owner and briefly chatting with the other patron. The space was cozy and inviting and the owner was very down to earth and knowledgeable about grapes and regions. I'm not one to pull up to a bar to have a drink by myself but I was very comfortable in the space and with the neighbors I met. I've been in the neighborhood for a long time and have been waiting for businesses and people like this place to come in and help brighten up the neighborhood. I will definitely be back! read more
