Well this place saved our day.With only two days left from my Grandma's 90th Birthday celebration,this mom and pop location was able to do the table center pieces for 5 tables.This being Mothers day weekend they where able to fit us in and most of all Deliver them to the Restaurant and sit them up.Sure it came with a charge.This was the last order of business that we needed to finish for our event. Today, I stopped in at "Best Flowers" to get a few rose bouquets for my sisters and an ornamental Orchid for my Mom for mothers day, I was already expecting to get the remnants from the early birds as I came pretty late but to my surprise he still has bunches and bunches of beautiful long stem roses in as many colors as one could imagine (I'm not kidding, he even has a rainbow colored rose! How'd that happen is totally unknown to me) my eyes go from one cabinet to the other until finally deciding on a fuchsia, a red, a white and a yellow rose bouquets. A beautiful fully bloomed indigo leopard orchid tucked in a corner of the shop got my attention, it didn't matter if it had cost me a handsome amount- it was the perfect gift for my orchid loving mom! What a nice surprise! I highly recommend this place if a bouquet of fresh blooms is what you need, they also have an array of ornamental plants and hanging plants for you to pick. I am really happy that this place has stayed and kept their business for years! in my honest opinion, mom and pop flowers shops like this truly gives the community a much nicer and quaint environment not to mention the personal knowledge of the things they are selling. Jose, the owner, quickly put together a corsage that was appealing to the eyes and sturdy. His prices were reasonable and the customer service was great. Usually I go to another flower shop in Eagle Rock but they were already closed. This place was open a lot later and was able to make the corsage that night. The place is a little worn down but the floral bouquets are plump and beautiful. As I walked into the shop, the owner was carrying a large arrangement for an older patron out to his car. I must say that the flowers he was carrying was an impressive piece of work. My only criticism is that the flowers in the corsage began leaning to the side during the dance.
