For the most part, this laundromat is pretty clean. I like how I don't have to carry cash around, and I have options. I loved how, when we walked in, the staff was cleaning out the lint traps, which looked like a heavy-duty job. It's also not super expensive and they offer different options to pay like by card, Apple Pay, or quarters. There's a vending machine with washing supplies if you forgot yours or don't have any detergent and if you're interested, they have a wash and fold service too. Diana is a gem! First off, this laundromat lives up to its name. It is so clean and has plenty of big, clean machines! I love that the machines take cards or quarters too! Last time I was there I draped two pairs of pants for work on the laundry rack (which there are also plenty of btw), and I ran off to work leaving my pants hanging. Once I figured out I left them there, I went back, a few hours later, and Diana had set them to the side for me! I was so happy to get them back and Diana was so sweet about it as she was meticulously cleaning all the washers and just overall being pleasant and kind. So grateful for her. I googled laundry mats for at least 30 minutes to decide which one I wanted to spend hours at. I had an overwhelming amount to do. This laundry mat was VERY clean and spacious. The bathrooms were clean as well. They had free coffee and WiFi. One of the machines washed 10 loads at once! The machines also take card which was more convenient. Believe me when I say that this by far the best laundromat I've ever been to. I've been to a few different laundromats in the past several years and none were half as clean and efficient as this establishment. It is very spacious and tidy, and the staff was friendly and willing to help. They have an open waiting area with TV and plenty of chairs and tables with charging stations. Aside from a few seniors here on a Tuesday morning, it's not crowded like most places. They even have free coffee prepared! The machines accept payment in card, quarters and Apple Pay. The price point is moderately higher compared to the ones I've been to but for the sake of the good customer service and quality experience, it's a price I'm willing to pay. I generally HATE going to laundromats- the ones I've been to are super crowded, noisy and dirty. Those places usually don't have air conditioning and parking lots are jammed packed. Even waiting on my laundry is an unpleasant experience. I would have fight for a spot among the the few worn out benches, while keeping a close eye on my laundry cart because they easily get snatched. I highly recommend this place if you prefer a comfortable experience. I was practically limping my lifeless body here only to feel like a kid in a candy store from the moment I walked in. read more

I used this place when I didn't have running water after the winter storm. It's a large facility and wasn't overly crowded even on a Saturday afternoon. The washer and dryers were modern and fairly easy to use. I did have a few hiccups trying to figure out the card reader but it could've been my error. But I really loved that there were absolutely huge dryers so you could dry everything in one go. There's many metal carts for people to use for transporting their laundry in and out to their cars. I haven't used a laundromat in about thirty years or so, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect from here. The only stuff I took besides clothes & detergent was a prepaid debit card, a novel, and a concealed Glock 36. Okay, I'm actually joking. I didn't bring a novel. But this place was exactly what it says it is - a big clean laundromat. There were six normal sized top-loaders for $2.25, and dozens & dozens of larger front-loaders that cost $3.75-6.75, depending on their size. And you can swipe your card in these too. I didn't use the wall of dryers, but I'm pretty sure they were around 50-cents for every eight minutes. I couldn't get their WiFi to connect, so I just went to the Starbucks next door. There's also a Taco Bell, McDonald's, and Dunking Donuts in this same complex. Cool. And apparently there are three Big Clean Laundromats in & around Austin; if the other two are like this one, you can pretty much wash your laundry problems away. read more

I work out of town and had been in the area for about a week and a half so i needed to get my laundry done. Came in and started my laundry and the attendant at the desk a young black lady with plenty of piercings seemed to have a issue with people setting their soap on top of the washers while they loaded them and would scream across the laundromat at anyone who did to take what ever it may be off of the washer. Which prompted at least 4 altercations with customers. One of which yelled back at the attendant if that if she would walk across the laundromat which was very loud and ask politely they would happily take it down. To which the attendant them called the police on this customer and got in his face and started yelling and taking pictures of the customer. read more

I was recommended to come here by a friend and I haven't tried any other laundromat since then. It's actually pretty far from my apartment but I don't mind because I love how big and clean it is. Every time I come there is a few people here but even on crowded days there's still plenty of machines. There's also free WiFi, two vending machines (one for snacks and another for detergent/softener in case you forget yours at home) and nearby restaurants if you need to fuel up. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend! read more

My washer broke down, grrrrr. This place was the closet laundromat to me. It's been years since I've been to one so I was expecting dirty and crowded. This place is very clean and big and the temperature is really cool inside. They have assistants and vending machines for food or drink. There's also a TV and plenty seating and a picnic table outside. There's also a loyalty program. There's different washer sizes, with the cost starting at $2.75 up to $6.75 (I may not be remembering correctly). My clothes are usually don't washing in about 25 minutes. The dryers I don't use, I don't know the cost of using a dryer. I would definitely use this place again, that being said I'm about to go here to wash. read more

For about a year now I've been taking my clothes in once a week for drop off laundering service. I drop them off on Saturday morning and they're always done either later that day or the next. They consistently do a fantastic job and every single staff member I've encountered is super friendly and helpful. The facility is always very clean and well kept. I highly recommend this place. I'd never been to a laundromat before, so I was a little nervous I'd make a fool of myself figuring it out yesterday afternoon (totally did). The first thing I did was walk up to a dryer, thinking it was a washer. The lady working there was so nice and helpful. She walked me through the entire process and how the machines work. When I came in to switch to the dryer, she saw me and walked me through that as well, which I could tell after that I needed that help too. When I came in the last time, she was leaving her shift and we exchanged goodbyes. She was so great at turning a nervous experience into a nice one. Her help seemed beyond employee duties and more like human kindness, becoming a highlight of my day. If I ever need a laundromat again, I'll definitely go here. The laundromat was super clean, WiFi is available 1 hour at time, which is fine with me. Get in and get out. Plenty of washing machine and dryers too. Couple of TVs. It a little bit more expensive than my neighborhood laundromat. About .75 more per load, it was worth it to me. Downside: construction going around and you might the entrance. I haven't washed laundry at a laundromat in my adult life. Anything too big for our washer and dryer I've just dropped off in the past. After being sick this week, I decided it'd just be easier to take all of our bedding and just get it all over with at once. The two women working here during our trip were both super nice and helpful. The whole place is new. Even the 10 load capacity washer only took 22 minutes. The husband and I started our washers and ran over to the McDonald's next door to grab some lunch. There were plenty of washers and dryers the entire time we were here. All of the machines we used work well. The staff keeps this place CLEAN. I don't have anything to compare the prices, but to me they all seemed reasonable. The washer prices change based on hot/cold water and number of rinses. Even the 10 loader was under $10. We'll definitely be returning here to wash big items. read more

You can swipe your card to pay for anything, you can drop off your stuff and pay them to do it, you can even sit there and hang out in this futuristic building. The price increase is worth it. I am battling cancer. As such, I try to pick my OTHER battles wisely because time & energy are valuable commodities and anything I do takes a big chunk out of both. The only thing I have less of is money. I went to The Big Clean on Parmer, used 2 washers & 3 dryers and was charged $41.50 for the privilege! Their own employee took my laundry out of the washers and put it into dryers FOR me because she knew I was beyond capacity and was kind enough to help me out. Two or three years ago, this was a REALLY nice laundromat. Now, not so much. There were SO many broken machines that day, and everyone was taking their clothes in and out of them, or putting money into the ones that hadn't been taped off. It was just a big frustrating mess and everyone there was hot on BOTH sides of the mask. It's hard enough for me to take stuff in & out of the machines the first time, but more than once is too much. Enter kind employee. So, a solid 2 weeks after I saw the charges, I called. No return call. I called again. Nothing. I decided to write a nice but detailed letter that I hand-delivered to the location and eventually, I got a call from someone I THOUGHT was the owner. She told me this was 1 thing I could take off my plate and promised to make everything right. Got a text later that day telling me "her boss" said the charges stand because there's no way to prove how many machines I actually used. Ha! I'm 1 person. Do you know how many loads of laundry I would've had to have come in there with to rack up $41.50 in charges? I couldn't even manage what I had! First, I'm a local, long-time customer. Second, their own employee could verify exactly what I'm saying. Third, the money had long since been taken from my account. Does this business owner think I suddenly decided to dispute some random portion of the charges, a month after the fact, then (in between chemo treatments) took the time to call, write a letter, and physically go there as part of some lie? That I was making it up so they had no obligation to make it right? REALLY?! Wow! I told my story locally and was referred to the BBB & YELP - all of which has already cost them FAR more than, let's say, an apology and offer to cover the cost of my next laundry visit would've! If they don't value or care about the loss of my patronage, can't be bothered to speak to their own employee to verify my claims, are unwilling to reach out personally after several attempts at my end, then pawned me off onto someone who made promises on their behalf they had no intention of honoring, then I'm happy to take my business elsewhere. I highly recommend others go somewhere else as well or, if you absolutely have no other choice, ONLY use cash! Do not use your bank card unless you can afford nearly half a c-note every time you wash your clothes! Besides, it's NOT that big of a clean. read more
