Ian's is one of the few dry cleaners in town that does leather cleaning! I had two jackets that I wanted cleaned, and Ian's was SO reliable and communicative during the entire process. It is a bit expensive to do leather jacket cleaning, but for the experience and process, I would say it was totally worth it. They texted me to let me know when they would arrive to pick up and to drop off. They gave me a clear time approximation and even beat it (they estimated 6-8 weeks but I believe it only took about 2-3?). My jackets came back wrapped really nicely, and the delivery driver took proper care to deliver at my door. In fact, I wasn't home and she asked how I would like my jackets to be dropped off. The thoughtfulness and consideration Ian's provides can't be beat. I also appreciate that they have an app so you can easily plan your pick-ups and drop-offs. If I have any articles of clothing that will need dry cleaning in the future, Ian's will be top of mind. read more

Unbelievable. Ian's lost our first order worth several hundred dollars. My wife's, my, and my son's clothes. We never even got a heads up. It wasn't until 4 days after it was supposed to be DELIVERED that I emailed & called and someone asked me what exactly was in the bag (because it was likely mixed up/lost). So if any of you get some adult or toddler clothes that aren't yours, it's probably mine. When I called, there wasn't even really an apology, any expectation setting, more so an opaque line of questioning around what was in the bag as if they didn't want to share what happened. Do NOT take your wedding dress to Ian's. They will ruin your dress, force you to still pay full price, leave you on read, and not take responsibility for their mistakes. I gave them my wedding dress to dry clean. They discolored the beads (from white to yellow) on the dress by using too harsh of chemicals/too high of heat. They didn't even get all the stains out. They tried to blame the bridal store and designer that it was their fault the dress got messed up when in reality they should have been more careful during the cleaning process. That's their entire job! They told me they would not fix the discolored beads, and they would not give me a refund for ruining my dress. I've also tried to reach out to them 3 times to get my dress garment bag and my customized wooden bride hanger, and they left me on read. I have no way of storing my dress now and I'm sure they lost it but won't admit it or try to help. They also won't respond to me after I reached out to the bridal store to try to fix my dress. They honestly should not have wedding dress services if they don't know what they're doing. Now I have a ruined dress that I don't know how to fix and they're just going to get away with it. The most frustrating and downright terrible experience I've ever had. This is not what a bride should go through after spending so much money and effort on their most memorable dress. read more

Prior to moving back to Austin, I lived in a high rise in Chicago where dry cleaning was picked up and delivered flawlessly and prior to the pandemic, I noticed Ian's had a solid 5 star rating. However, post-pandemic, it seems they have lost their luster and although the reviews were iffy, I still thought I would give them a try and, after my experience, I will never recommend them to anyone. First, the website they use is awful, it does not provide a confirmation email or text, so you are left wondering if they ever received the request, and when I selected my pick up dates, it provided me with drop off dates and some how it converted into two pickup dates. The following week when I was expected to have my work uniforms delivered, I received a text informing me they were on their way to pickup. After a phone call with their driver who was confused, but very nice and helpful, I was directed to call the office where I spoke with a rude employee, I think her name was Erica. I was told that I would have to wait another 3 days to receive my clothes! I did not have a uniform to wear to work and had to make do which caused some issues. On their website they say they will show up with one of their signature bags for your clothing, but that was not the case, so my husband put my clothes in a brown paper bag that no one in their facility bothered to inquire about. I was fuming that my clothes sat there for a week and not one single person noticed the name on the bag, nor had the wherewithal to gather any additional information as to the customer. When I finally received my clothing, I was provided with a green Ian's bag as if I was going to become a regular customer! I left a voicemail asking the bag to be retrieved from my house and instead of receiving a phone call, I got a text confirming the pick up last week. As of today, I have not received any apology or communication regarding my experience and because it is obvious they do not need their bag returned, it has since been donated. read more

Ian's Dry Cleaning was awesome! I have an Ugg comforter that HAS to be dry cleaned..well silly me thought I could throw it into the basic washer & dryer. I messed it up a tad and NONE of stains I wanted to come out did ha. Then my dog had an accident on my comforter. This was just becoming a nasty mess...until IAN'S! I've loved this home pick-up and delivery dry cleaning service! Being an essential worker and having to do dry-cleaning/laundry is super stressful so I'm happy to hand off the dry-cleaning to Ian's. I also detest ironing myself and I've had great service with press only. The nice bag they give you, mobile app, mobile payment, and great service is top-notch. If I've had any mix ups or concerns (only has happened twice), the responses are super quick. I was really let down by Ian's Dry Cleaning! The service model totally appealed to me as I know it takes all of my willpower to drop off & pick up dry cleaning no matter the location. My items were picked up on time and dropped off easily just a few days later. However, upon receiving my sweaters, top, and jacket back I noticed that stains on two of the sweaters and the jacket looked completely untouched. Two of the stains I was able to pick off with my fingernail - so it's not like they were embedded. I don't really know what I paid for - it seems like they took my clothes away, folded them very nicely, and dropped them back off? I'll be going back to a traditional dry cleaner, unfortunately, and hoping for better results. Bummer. read more

I avoided coming here to post this but after two months of corresponding with management here and my dress manufacturer I was left with no other option. Backstory: I had two dresses from Vince to dry clean. Both had pleats. Ian's dry cleaning completely RUINED both dresses and lost a piece (belt) from one. They attempted to blame it on the material but we spoke to management at Vince and confirmed this is not the case. Ian's dry cleaning was neglectful. They had ONE JOB and they fucked it up. I'm now out over $750 and down two dresses because they couldn't read the dresses labels and remember they had pleats. A complete disgrace. This business RUINED TWO of my extremely expensive dresses (I only got to wear these ONCE for a wedding) and the only thing they can offer after two months going back and forth with a lawyer is a credit...as if I could trust them again. I got a stain on my down comforter and father duvet cover and didn't know where to turn. I looked up yelp reviews and saw that Ian's had pretty high reviews. I called them and explain the situation in the first said it would take a week to get back. I was a little frustrated and disappointed as the coldest night of the season so far we're coming up and we wouldn't have a blanket to cover with. But they were tirelessly and effortlessly and cut out the stain press the cover and it was in perfect brand new condition in two days! They even delivered it back to my door! After doing a search for a dry cleaner near my area, almost all of them do not get very good reviews. Ian's gets great reviews, and they should! I called Ian's to see if they have a brick and mortar building as they advertise just as a pickup/delivery, and I am not in the service area. I spoke with Lucindia and she explained they were a 'boutique' dry cleaner and could pickup/deliver from Ricks on Bell Road in Cedar Park. (Ricks wasn't able to clean my items), one of which is a Navy Surplus Peacoat that needed a button sewn on as well (needed two but I only had one). Lucindia was very nice, very helpful and found this option to accommodate me as I wanted someone with great reviews and a good reputation. There was no rush on this, but didn't take long. I picked up the items today and upon inspection and I can tell you -IMPRESSIVE! Not only are both coats so clean they look almost new, (they are many years old) they reattached the missing button I provided AND even replaced the one I didn't have. With an exact match of a Peacoat button. Was not at all expecting that. Super impressed with this kind of quality, workmanship and the overall great service. Lucindia was super nice, helpful and kept me posted via call or text along the way. Highly recommend Ian's, for quality of work, workmanship and going the extra mile! And very reasonably priced, especially for all they did, and included a pretty sturdy garment bag for keeping. WOW! Nice job Ian's and Lucindia, please continue this way, it matters! I recently used this company to launder my comforter, the duvet cover, and a sheet set, and it was a very disappointing experience. First, they tried to deliver my laundry on a different day than the one I had scheduled (I was out of town). Then, they only delivered half my laundry. Finally, when I got the rest of the sheets back, I discovered that they still had makeup marks on them and had to clean them all myself anyway! What a waste of money. Horrible experiences with Ian's Dry Cleaning. First time I used them, they delivered another person's dry cleaning. I spent two days worrying that my clothes were lost. When my clothes finally arrived I was barely even offered an apology and wasn't offered a discount for poor service. Second time I used Ian's I requested all my items to be delivered the same week they were dry cleaned. Half of my items showed up on time. No one from Ian's contacted me about the missing items so I inquired to find out where my clothes were. When I finally got a reply, hours later, I was told "oh we didn't get those clothes done on time you'll get them next week." Thanks Ian's that's incredibly helpful given that I need those items for a work meeting I have next week. read more

And they lost a belt that was attached to one too. Accidents happen. Personnel are so friendly and helpful. I had Ian's clean a brocade satin dress made by my mother in 1960. It had a horrific stain on the back of the skirt-cat urine sprayed on by our cat.
