Just got the Samsung 85" (QN85Q80TA) with HW-Q950T sound bar (9!! speakers but two rear and subwoofer). Upgraded from a 13 year old 50" Panasonic with Bose surround that I also bought from The Big Screen Store (after that purchase I won't go anywhere else. TV is absolutely amazing - perhaps because I took no intermediary steps between the 50 and 85 for 13 years and did the direct jump from 1080 to 4K. The picture is awesome in anything 4K format and it does a fine job upscaling anything that isn't. The first 15-20 minutes of Ryan Reynold's moving 6 Under Ground is a great test of the TV and soundbars capabilities. Anyway you can read reviews on any website if you want more. The Big Screen guys (the main purpose of the review) were fantastic. The salesman (Charlie) step me through everything, didn't try to upsell and even recommended against some items I may have taken otherwise. Went in on a Saturday (Sterling store), in and out in a hour which included all the paperwork and financing (I went with 0% for 1 year). Delivery and install was done on a Monday - less than hour there as well. Installation team (Jason + one other I didn't catch name) was clean, courteous, and efficient. They configured the set up, got all the components set and working and walk me through everything. These guys have the best prices (or will match) and follow through on everything until you're sitting on your couch flipping through channels! Kevin is the man, the myth, and the legend when it comes to technical and personal guidance on all merchandise in the Sterling location. My wife and I had researched and read multiple reviews on 4K TVs at Best Buy and right before a purchase we decided to go around the corner to view the items at the Big Screen store. Upon entering the door Kevin greeted us, listened to our requirements, and made several recommendations highlighting the value of several units with accompanying external sound equipment to complement the TV. After asking what seemed mass amounts of questions Kevin easily and patiently answered each concern and followed up the discussion with a physical comparison between the units that grounded the methodology. At the end of our engagement our price was drastically cheaper than the competition, better quality, and was delivered the following Monday! Awesome help! Low key no pressure. So why did I buy at the Big Screen Store? I did my homework ahead of time and researched prices for Samsun QLEDs and others online. Then I saw that Big Screen had the exact same prices. So why should I buy a TV online and take a chance with a bad delivery or poor support or even a set I didn't like. Kevin at Big Screen provided great info, and that's where all my technical questions were answered, where I could compare the 75" to the 83", QLEDs against other UHD TV's. I wasn't exactly sure I would like the super high def QLEDs, and then Kevin walked me thorough some of the settings where you can adjust the sharpness a little down if you prefer; I liked that. I hung around for about two hours, comparing three different sets before settling on the 75" QLED. I asked a lot of questions until I felt satisfied I was making the right buy for me. Hard to do that online, no matter how many stars it's rated. And by the way if you go there you've got to ask to hear the BOSE soundbar; it's awesome. No pressure. I got such great service I created an account just to review these people. First of all, I had an issue with a 10 year old set that I did not even buy from these guys, but they were still willing to help. They felt bad my TV fail, so they wanted to make sure I was happy. They referred me to a TV repair place. The repair was a little expensive so I decided to get a new TV. They were able to explain all the new technology, including 4K Ultra LED. They got me a great deal on a warranty too, and gave me big discount. I got a new TV delivered the next day with a brand new sound bar. They even set the whole thing up for me.
