While doing so, I discovered that those other reviews were providing lack of information that by doing so weren't doing justice to this extraordinary Café and Bicycle business. I arrived on the Wednesday morning of Christmas Eve, shortly after they had opened. Driving my Lexus through Winborne Street in Grandin Village, I made a turn on the right side of their large size building, and in the back was a relatively large parking lot with complimentary parking for customers of this Bike Shop and Café. Inside their spacious building, I found what I consider to be one of the best and most beautiful specialty stores that I have ever seen in my life. And one of the classiest Café around, with a menu developed with the assistance of the executive chef of the award winning River & Rail Restaurant in the Cristal Spring neighborhood of Roanoke, Virginia. As one enters the clean and elegant establishment, the first thing one notices is the beautiful shiny floors and the gigantic size chainrings ceiling lamps that hang from the black painted ceiling. Next to the large windows are some tables and chairs of the Café. And right in front of the Café counter there is a cozy, comfortable space, conversation Nook, with a rug defining the area, an eclectic combination of furniture including a sofa, a pair of comfortable chairs, and a beautiful wood handmade coffee table. And today it is also adorned with a lighted Christmas tree. Behind this in an open space building is the counter of the Café surrounding the walls of the kitchen. All around the rest of the open space of the building are bicycles and accessories for sale, and in the back, the bicycle Service department. I invite you to view my photographs accompanying this review to get a better sense of the place and the quality of their products and food. There, behind the counter of the very classy Café, I was able to meet the owner of the place who had a very welcoming and elegant personality, a reflection of the establishment itself. He showed me the menu and I ordered the Cardinal Brunch Burrito, that contained chorizo, among other ingredients. And to drink I ordered the Mocha Coffee Smoothie. These out of an exquisite items menu. Everything tasted amazingly delicious, and the generous portions filled me up. The very pleasant ambiance and the warm and friendly, hospitable personality of the owner, created the perfect environment for an extraordinary dining experience.

Unprofessional, subpar work. We never even would have chosen a dump like this but we're forced for a warranty repair through our inverter. He claimed the issue wasn't covered and instead of giving our machinery back, held it ransom until we paid almost $150 out of pocket for it to be returned. He didn't even fix the issue and we had to drive back and forth three more times because he admittedly "can't see too well anymore" and messed up. When we pointed out his negligence wasted time, energy, and gas, he just said he's "cheaper than everyone else" and never apologized once for being a hack. Screw this raggedy place.

We were in town recently visiting my parents and needed an activity for my two boys to get some…read moreenergy out. I did a Yelp search of the area and this place popped up. Our experience wasn't great - but I think that's largely because from the online photos we were expecting something closer to what we've experienced back home at our local climbing gyms. The whole facility is much more catered to serious climbers than kids. I was amazed watching some of the adult folks who came in and tried the huge bolder walls. We came in about 2 in the afternoon. It took almost 30 minutes just to get checked in, rental equipment, MANY statements about how my children could be harmed or die, and then a whole bunch of instruction on how to do the harnesses. That was new for us - every other climbing gym we've been to has staff to assist children with this. Then we were faced with the fact that there are only 5 climbing paths that have safety harnesses - this didn't end up being too much of an issue because no other kids came in, so my boys had free-reign to swap between the paths, but if there had been more kids - I anticipate we'd have been waiting around a lot to take turns. Also my arthritis was quite unhappy with me after over an hour of fastening harnesses. If we end up back in town, would we do it again? Maybe - the pricing was fair, and the boys did end up enjoying it. But if you're looking for a child-specific activity, that's not really what the vibe of this place is.
