The a/c was pretty obnoxious, and couldn't seem to make up its mind from being hot and stuffy to cold and freezing. They offered a complimentary continental breakfast, but we took about one bite from their eggs made from some just-add-water and heat recipe, and spat them right out. Ick. The sausage seemed like it'd been frozen for a long time, and barely warmed over, yet somehow still overcooked. The coffee was some of the weakest I've had, and the coffee maker in the room was inadequate for my caffeine needs. Bring your own coffee set up. The front desk was nice, and offered a bunch of pamphlets, and a computer lounge, but no instructions on how to use it. The elevators worked just fine. Parking was easy- the place was relatively empty when we visited, so there was plenty of parking, with great drainage. The bed was somewhat comfortable, but nothing over the top. The television was infuriating. The remote kinda-sorta worked, and it'd take a good ten seconds for any channel changes to register.

Muffins, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, juice. Today's hot dish was a bacon egg quiche with sundried tomato puree. Mimosas with MH sparkling are included, as well. I accidentally booked the wrong date and realized the error almost immediately. I called the hotel within FIVE MINUTES of making the reservation to explain what had happened and ask them to cancel it. Despite how quickly I contacted them, they refused to cancel the reservation, refund my money, or even move the reservation to the correct date. What makes this situation even more unacceptable is the complete lack of effort to find a reasonable solution. I have repeatedly tried to speak with the hotel manager, yet I have been unable to get a proper response. Alan, the Assistant Manager, has provided no meaningful assistance or explanation beyond repeatedly hiding behind "hotel policy." As a business owner myself, I understand policies, procedures, and cancellation terms. I also understand customer service, common sense, and the importance of treating customers fairly. There is a significant difference between enforcing a legitimate policy and using a policy as an excuse to keep a customer's money when the hotel was notified of an obvious mistake only five minutes after the reservation was made. I was not asking for anything unreasonable. If a refund truly could not be processed, I even asked them simply to MOVE THE DATE so I could still use the reservation. They refused that as well. Keeping the full amount under these circumstances, while refusing both a cancellation and a date change, feels completely unreasonable and deeply disrespectful to a customer. I expected far better from a hotel operating under the Hilton name. A reputable hospitality company should be interested in resolving reasonable customer concerns, not simply collecting the money and refusing to discuss any solution. This experience has left me extremely disappointed, and I would strongly caution other guests to read every detail before booking here. Do not expect flexibility, understanding, or meaningful customer service if something goes wrong--even if you contact them within minutes.
