ALWAYS FANTASTIC! This experience was no exception. I was in a bit of a pinch having waiting too long to make a decision about funeral flowers for our mother (in law). I have ordered from this shop before and their work is consistently STUNNING. So I decided to give it a shot and see if there was any way they could do a spray and Urn display for an upcoming service that was scheduled in 4 days. I went in to the shop and was greeted by the most knowledgable and helpful woman and she assured me that they could definitely help us. The cost was VERY reasonable, considering the short notice and what I was quoted from other places. Flowers were delivered this afternoon and they are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. I was speechless. I had no idea what to ask for or what type of flowers I wanted so I told her that our mother loved butterflies, hummingbirds, sunflowers, and anything purple. She described her ideas for me and it sounded perfect. When I received the flowers, I was BLOWN AWAY. The design she came up with was EXACTLY what our mother would have wanted. Perfect in EVERY WAY. Flowers are fresh with no wilting. The added whimsey of the butterflies and hummingbirds were tastefully placed. The entire experience was so easy... from start to finish. We could not be happier! I live in Fresno, CA. My girlfriend lives in Folsom, CA. She was ill and feeling blue. I had no idea which florist to call. Went to several sites. Chose "The Blossom" after looking through several pages of their arrangements. Called. Explained situation. Discussed what I wanted for an upscaled arrangement and what I did not; daisy, carnation, etc. They did not disappoint. My girlfriend sent me photos and it was amazing!!! It absolutely brought smiles!!! Sadly my friend had to return to the hospital. I called "The Blossom". Again they did not disappoint. They delivered a stunning creation. It was so breathtaking, that nurses and doctors took photos of it. If you are looking for something specific and special. Call "The Blossom". I highly recommend them. The owner works with you and understands what is asked. She and her Mother create phenomenal designs. read more

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING :( I am so frustrated and disappointed. I ordered flowers for a friend in the hospital. I received a call that night from someone in an office building telling me they found the arrangement I had sent to the HOSPITAL sitting in a hallway in this office building. (Which is right next to the hospital!) What? I then had to go pick up the arrangement and was shocked - NOTHING like what I ordered. So, I was charged for an arrangement, parts were MISSING from it and it was put in an old broken basket. Plus, all the fees, a tip etc. This is NOT SERVICE nor a reputable business. This company is refusing to refund my charges. BUYER BEWARE..... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! read more

i went to the flower shop to purchase a large bunch of flowers to put on a table and the vibe was nice there was no lines when I entered to get the flowers which was nice the flowers were mostly white roses and they looked good sitting on the wooden table they did their thing and I left and it was a pretty easy process and the entire setup looks decent enough to serve my purpose in changing the mood of the place and the people working there were cool. read more

Amazing customer service and even better flowers! I was staying in the area for work and took the opportunity to visit friends who were incredible hosts. I thought it would be a nice gesture to send flowers as a Thank You for their hospitality. The Blossom Shop to the rescue! I called around lunch time and spoke to a nice woman who listened to my needs and engaged in small talk with me which I found I found incredibly nice because she wasn't trying to just make a quick sale, she didn't seem rushed which I can appreciate greatly. I explained why I wanted to send flowers and gave my budget. She did say for $10 more you do get extra bang for your buck which I jumped on. When discussing flowers I told her I didn't want carnations and she quickly jumped in and told me they only use high quality flowers such as sunflowers, peonies, roses etc .... Exactly what I was looking for! I'm not against the cheaper flowers but I did want to send something unique, classy and elevated which is what my incredible hostess received ! If they were unable to deliver on the requested time, they could've called me; my number was also written in the steps prior to purchase. I do not appreciate this type of service especially coming from a company that seemed great from initial appearance, but clearly lack in quality customer care. But it's very clear they don't really care, otherwise I would've been informed via call or email but again, got nothing. There's a reason why I stated my request for a certain time frame. It is what it is now. 2. I paid about $5 extra for them to send me an email of how the flowers looked prior to making the delivery -- what's the point of that when I never received it at all? Take that option off if you're unable to deliver such service that's outside of what you actually can do. It makes no sense how something simple can turn out complicated even in the slightest bit. And no, I'm not upset. Just unfortunately disappointed at the professionalism and lack of quality care that I had to share my experience with everyone here. The flowers on the other hand looked nice from the image that was sent to me from my family member. Although the flowers looked nice, the quality of service should match. It doesn't. I didn't want to believe what the other negative reviews were saying since I prefer to give things a chance at least once, and unfortunately I see why others weren't happy with their experience. Again, yes the flowers were nice, but I wasn't informed, at all, through email or phone about the delivery time and also paying an extra $5 to see what it looks like before sending it off. No point in having that as an option online if you're not going to do your part. I'm sure others have had great experiences with this shop; I don't doubt that. I just cannot get on that boat with them because my experience wasn't great. If you know better, then do better. Quality customer service these days are horrible as it is already, don't make it worse. DO BETTER.

They even got my son involved and had him so excited to give the flowers to his mom. It was such a great experience from start to finish. I just put this review on yesterday and it has been put where it can't be read. I think it is important to have ALL reviews on the front page. Perhaps if the owner were to read a review like this and call the customer to try to make things right, the flippant and cavalier attitude with the "courtesy "sorry" would be forgotten. Shame on the behavior. I contemplated on whether to write a review or not - mainly because I am on the fence of a 2-star or 3-star. In addition, I have had lovely arrangements sent from the shop in the past. My family has ordered through the blossom shop for years and the quality of their flowers is good. Recently, in trying to keep a theme going, I had my mother call to order an arrangement of WHITE CARNATIONS in a margarita glass, as I was short on time, for my future daughter-in-law. It was the perfect arrangement for the theme I was going for and having seen them online, was confident The Blossom Shop could do it. When ordering the arrangement, my mother also ordered an arrangement in a tea cup and requested fall colored flowers, giving the shop creative licence to create a charming arrangement. By the end of the phone call (I was told by the shop) that it was clear as to the color of the flowers for both arrangements was to be fall colors. They did not have a margarita vase in stock but had access to get one and proceeded to make a nice arrangement with COLORED flowers...not WHITE CARNATIONS. The arrangement was to resemble a margarita - this was to be done with WHITE CARNATIONS. Certainly a comedy of errors. I called the next morning to let the owner know what had happened. My daughter-in-law had a picture of the two arrangements right next to each other and the margarita arrangement looked nice but exactly like the tea cup arrangement. What an embarrassment to explain why there were straws in it and why they were so similar. Using their creative licence to change my mother's mind from the WHITE CARNATIONS didn't work. When paying so much for an arrangement, I would expect them to make it right, when I brought it to their attention. There was a reason for the WHITE CARNATIONS!. Yes, the flowers are nice. I didn't want a variety of flowers--I wanted WHITE CARNATIONS. I didn't mind paying over $60 for WHITE CARNATIONS. I was told they made a special trip for the glass, which I appreciate but I was not happy and now have to call 1-800-FLOWERS to ensure I get the arrangement with WHITE CARNATIONS. With as much money as I spend on flowers throughout the year, I am sad to say this shop didn't handle the problem with an unhappy customer right. The arrangement should be remade with WHITE CARNATIONS and all would be right. I believe it is important to make sure a customer is happy with the service, even if it is a simple misunderstanding or someone talking a customer out of what they wanted. Customer Service isn't just taking the customer's money and being done. Word of mouth works both ways and with today's social media, I think it is important to address a customers concern's no matter how right a business owner believes they are. I notice that with any negative comments the owner take no responsibility. Sure it is nice to hear about the flowers last year and in 2008 but with a wedding this year in my family I wouldn't want the owner to say it is not their fault they made different choices and that the bride "understood". Customer Service to keep clients coming back isn't created by not taking any responsibility just because you think something else would be better. If you made such a mistake or even if you didn't, do you think blaming the customer made it right? Bad publicity can be like wildfire. You should be a business that helsp the customer even if they were wrong. Trust me there will always be another reason for flowers and making a customer feel important enough, no matter the fault, and trying to make it right will keep them coming back. 1000 "Attaboys" can be ruined by one "Are you kidding me?" --Especially when you don't really know who that customer is.... read more

Best service I've ever had. I called late in the day to have some flowers delivered to my girlfriend, and the amazing owner Charlyne (I hope I spelled that right) went above and beyond and made me a custom bouquet for a great price, and then went out of her way to PERSONALLY deliver it to my girlfriend's house on her way home because the delivery van had made its last stop already. Would definitely recommend to anyone. And, on top of all that, the flowers were beyond perfect. read more

GORGEOUS! I came from out of state for my granddaughter's high school graduation and found The Blossom Shop (online) the morning of graduation day. Not only did they make 2 bouquets (wraps) for me, but the bouquets were beautiful. They weren't your standard "run of the mill" bouquets, but different and unique.
