I loved just looking up inside this building, you could see the old workings from it past. It seems like half a mile of plants. The inventory is huge and I could have spent a Million dollars here . And the plants were reasonably priced. Better than big box nurseries. Rare plants. My friend and I were in Heaven. There's a Cafe with indoor and outdoor seating that's always booked. Reservations are essential, my friend and I thought we could slip in and have lunch, it was a 45 minute wait, only finding that out after we had stood in line for over 20 minutes plus.. The property is like a beautiful garden with a koi pond and wonderful garden art that I wanted so, so badly. Money . There's also an olive oil and vinegar tasting room and a separate gift shop all in this wonderful warehouse setting. My friend bought 2 oils costing $40.00 . But they were exquisite, beautiful and flavorful and unique tasting. Yum. High hand also has a venue for weddings and I believe a brewery. It's mind blowing ! Serious gardeners must visit there. It's about a two hour drive from Reno. I give it 5 stars absolutely..

We got a couple of plants and some pots and some decorations. It was a lovely and enjoyable. I will definitely be back!

A great nursery for trees, shrubs, and perennials. They have a gift shop with the usual…read moreknickknacks, and also a few aviaries filled with beautiful lovebirds. The grounds are lovely! It's really nice to just wander around and observe the beautiful plants and specialty trees. They currently have a sale featuring 50% off roses, which are in full bloom at the moment. In addition patio furniture is also 50% off. The mature trees range from hundreds to thousands of dollars depending upon cultivar, rarity, or variegation of foliage. This is a great place for large landscape specimens. You won't find six packs of annuals, they really specialize in trees, shrubs and perennials. The service was friendly, although I didn't buy anything this time, I was warmly greeted, and offered help to find anything. I'll be back once we finish our hardscaping and are ready for feature plants and large trees.

When there was some confusion on an order regarding availability of the size of the lumber, Nate got involved and immediately corrected the problem and also went the extra mile to make sure we were getting what we wanted plus a little for our trouble. Nate has always been extra helpful. The crew has been friendly and professional. They go out of their way to get the best quality products each time I make a trip to their lumber yard. Robert even brought a couple of large pieces of lumber from another store to El Dorado Hills so I could pick it up on a certain day. What service!! I booked a package of 4 tickets for this years 2026 Galentines event, with that I also purchased 4…read moretickets for the Flower Bar so we could create bouquets and take them home with us, when purchasing I used the promotion code for 10% off that was advertised with the event, everything went through fine and I received my receipt and was excited for the event. After my purchase of the 4 flower bar tickets I soon received a phone call from the Flower Farm gift shop, the lady told me that the promotion code was not valid and she was going to refund my purchase and I would have to re purchase without the promotion code. I explained to her that I felt that was not right since it was their mistake, they needed to update their website and not allow promotion codes for the flower bar if that was the case. As a company they should have honored my purchase and fixed their mistake rather than refunding and making me re purchase again without the promo code. The lady on the phone took no accountability and was very snappy with me, it just left me feeling upset when I got off the phone with her. Sad thing is I am still really excited for this event, it is just a bummer that this experience now created bad energy for me going into the experience. I recommend the Flower Farm Gift Shop examine their customer service policies and handle situations like mine better in the future.

While the gift shop is a little small they have a wide array of items that are focused around helping people create a special gift. Many of their items are seasonal so things are always changing. We used Moon Valley Nurseries in Roseville after seeing an ad for their new location. Since we do…read morenot know much about landscaping, we were willing to pay a premium for professional design help and quality plant selection. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from start to finish. We made it clear from the beginning that we needed all materials by Sunday for our landscapers, but after spending over an hour selecting 9 trees and countless plants, we were told at checkout that delivery would take two months. Some material did arrive sooner, but not all of it. The bigger issue was the design advice itself. The Liriope we received already looked unhealthy, and we later learned it does not do well in the Sacramento Valley heat. We returned it and replaced it with boxwoods. Even more concerning, a Weeping Blue Cedar was recommended to be planted only about two feet from our home. After getting second opinions, we learned that could have caused foundation issues because of the root system. We canceled that tree as well. On top of that, 7 shrubs we ordered never arrived, and we ended up buying replacements from another local nursery. Two months later, we are still waiting on a refund for the canceled tree and the undelivered shrubs. We have gone to the store multiple times, could never reach the manager, and kept getting different answers about store credit and restocking fees. Some of the plants we received are doing well, but overall the communication, design guidance, and follow-through were poor. I would definitely recommend getting a second opinion before trusting their design plan. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Moon Valley Nurseries in Roseville.
