I like a pretty no-frills haircut--just trimming the split ends and shaping up the layers--and the stylist understood from what I already was rocking and a few questions exactly what I was looking for. She was efficient and did a great job. I have curly hair and always expect my hair to be a little unfamiliar after a haircut because it's not my exact styling routine that I'm used to, but after washing and styling myself I am happy with the cut and the experience. The lashes put on were barely there and fell off within a week. Not to mention I was charged $200 for the initial lackluster job and told to come back every 2 weeks for $100 fills. Ladies, this is NOT how it's supposed to be. Lashes are A big enough expense on a monthly basis at around $100 and that's what I was paying in Los Angeles. Here in Corpus The places I went to were expecting consumers to pay over $200 a month for Lashes, this is just not acceptable. I found Justine and my search was finally over and I'm so grateful! She does volume lashes and they look amazing and last for a full month and her pricing is extremely reasonable! I highly recommend everyone looking for a lash artist to go to her and everyone already going to a lash artist here in corpus to switch and go to Justine because her work product is far superior, her personality is awesome, her pricing is the best I've found here in corpus and she does specials on on a regular basis. Instead of asking me to come in and see her face to face, she asked me for pictures of my hair. She then told me I needed a color correction because my hair was yellow and my roots were dark. I told her that was the lighting in my bathroom messing with the color. My hair is in no way yellow. She told me to go to Salon Chartreuse because my hair needed to be fixed and she couldn't do it. So I did. And guess what? My hair is not in need of color correction at all. Just new highlights and a cut. Since she never saw me face to face, she never really got to see my hair. Instead she pretty much told me that she didn't want to risk her reputation on me. Whatever. Won't be calling her again. All I wanted was a cut and highlights. Instead I got the brush off.
