After finding The Boardroom last week, it was so great, we had to return immediately! The atmosphere is casual, a bit industrial but with great art on the walls, like historic Humboldt photographs, maps and vintage ads. People there are friendly and welcoming, ready to greet you and answer any questions. We tried an impressive meat and cheese board, delicious big salad with lots of goodies, pulled pork sandwich (daily special) and a mouthwatering Cubano panini. Yum! We got a bottle of local "Coho" red blend wine for a reasonable $27. Guaranteed we will return. read more

Love this place the crepes are perfect, Charcuterie's are on point with wonderful home cured meats and local cheese, I love a good pretzel with really good mustard , pulled pork sandwich and coleslaw is yummy. The staff is kind and efficient. The high ceilings give it a wonderful open, airy feeling, with lots of light coming through the windows and the picnic tables add to the ambience, and are really comfortable. read more

I have been looking forward to trying The Boardroom for quite some time, but we left a little disappointed... Pros: The server was very kind, the charcuterie and panini were good for the price point, and it's a great idea for a restaurant. Cons: It took 30 minutes to get a small charcuterie and a panini on a slow night, they completely forgot to serve a beer that we never did get, and the ambience is cold and and feels like an afterthought. I think this could be a great place if they upped their game on the service end (maybe full table side service) and put more effort into the ambience (and turned up the heat). We probably won't be back, but we would consider take-out. read more

Love this place! Everything is excellent. It can definitely get a little pricey (especially when you have a beer or two, and keep going back for "one more board") but the quality is superb, and everything is super tasty. I thought I hated pickled veggies, but I can't get enough of these ones! Great atmosphere - fun for date night or with a group of friends. Love the cheese boards and crepes, it was all a win! There is a long table available if you're with a large group, and they have games you can borrow to play with your friends. Cozy layout that feels comfortable after a long day out and about. Staff is friendly and took our group ordering at various times throughout our visit for more dishes like champs. Great place to get a really good cheese and meat board. The prices are a little high in my opinion, but I love to support the local businesses. The food is always very good and I find it it worth the price in the end. I keep going back because I love it so much. I find that one board can be filling if you eat it to yourself. read more

What a find!!! This is a great place to take friends you want to entertain. We picked it out for a date night and we were not disappointed! While pretty loud, there was great atmosphere. Lots of board games you can take to your table, and they even have shuffle board! Great selection of beer and wine, and the boards are crazy delicious! It is apparent there was lots of thought that went into curating these combinations. Staff was super friendly and I felt like my opinions were valued as staff came by multiple times to ask what we thought about different items. We even got to pick Sonny's brain and ask about different meat curing processes. Such a neat experience! A unique place that is a must visit. The charcuterie is made well and paired well with other local foods. I enjoyed it as dinner and left very satisfied. My wife and I split two boards with a coppa add on and it was just right. The beer/cider and wine choices are well thought out. Everything is reasonably priced, right down to the $1 Olympia draft and $6 Chimay. Nobody in the history of time has ever put those two beers on the same draught tower, certainly not at those prices, so that tells you something. I'd been wanting to try this place since they opened. Finally made it there last night. They did not disappoint. I ordered board 1 and it meet all my needs, meats, cheeses, fruit, nuts and the vinegar veggies were amazing. She shared a bottle of wine, which was also great. Overall experience was great. My only complaint was the bathroom because they don't have their own so you have to use the public one outside which is nasty. Other then that I highly recommend this place. My husband and stumbled upon this newer Eureka secret when we went to the rock show at Redwood Acres on Saturday. We popped in to see what was and the smells and quiet coolness of a true charcuterie enveloped our senses. We told the gentleman at the bar that we would be back after the show. I am impressed at the quality of the foods served and the great beer and wine list. This is not a full serve restaurant but a yummy place to go when you want a delicious small spread of most excellent locally made meats, salamis, and cheeses. So the positives first: love the atmosphere, the pickles, the idea of boards. The wine and beer selection are pretty good. What I wasn't so fond of was the quality. I feel like the bread was an afterthought, but it can really make or break your experience. I would have even preferred a cracker over this. I love a crusty baguette and there must be a local baker to pair with! I would have even been okay paying a couple dollars more for some higher quality. Also, I feel like the plate needed a sauce--mustard, compote, something. And finally, the cheeses were again, just okay. Humboldt county makes GREAT cheeses. I wanted this place to be a little higher end and a little more quality, but I love the concept, and I WANT them to grow. I'll come back in a couple months and check them out again. read more

I went here for my first time last weekend with my boyfriend. Friendly staff and great selection of meat, cheese and drinks. They have beer, wine and cider! The Canadian bacon was my favorite thing we tried it was so flavorful and yummy. I love that they have games here too...it made for a fun date night. read more
