We just got back from from a short get away at the Boardwalk Inn. The weather was awful but the Inn was great! We has a ocean few room where we watched the waves roll in after a hot tote at the bar. The staff was great and the room was very clean. Looking forward returning soon. read more

This hotel was THE BEST HIDDEN TREASURE my mom and I ever found last Sunday. "Miss Paula" and her housekeeping staff were so friendly and accommodating to us from check in to check out, it was as if we were spoiled beyond belief. That, and the room we got was so cozy and adorable, especially with the stylized fish decor above our beds. To me the ONLY "problem" was that we couldn't stay any longer than that Sunday, but it was a "one night stand" we will treasure forever in our hearts. We had a super brief stay here due to the timing of a show we saw at the casino boardwalk, but it was a fantastic, reasonably priced room! The service and staff were so friendly and accommodating. A nice clean room, and comfy comfy bed! It was also such a convenient location, right above a restaurant that had a fun vibe and good food (and staying at hotel gave a 15% restaurant discount!) and right by lots of other spots plus of course the beach! Free coffee and muffin in the morning was nice since we had to go so early! Also they give a parking pass nearby for free as well. Will return when we come back to Hampton! read more

I love this place. If you're going to a concert at the Casino ballroom you have to stay here. It's right next door. You can walk down from your room and grab dinner and drinks in the restaurant and then head right over to the concert. And then after the concert you can head back and listen to a band in the restaurant before heading upstairs to your room. The rooms are clean and quiet. Very friendly staff. We come here once a year and are extremely happy with the management staff and experience. The bed in room 202 was super comfortable! This is super casual , not the Ritz ( which we DO use as well) but very clean! We come for the proximity to the ballroom but could not be happier with the politeness of the staff. Our bartenders at night and David in the day, exceptional. Been coming here to Hampton since I was a teen. I am happy to be able to return to such a great place where the energy is positive . The boardwalk inn's service was excellent. The room was clean and contained all of the required amenities. We were shocked at how small the space was. There really isn't any room to turn around. The sink was just as small. Surprisingly the room was pretty quiet but, we did hear the crew working in the morning. The location is one of the best on the beach. It's nice to have a restaurant connected to the inn. We stayed two nights anything longer would've been too much in the small space. I honestly can't complain because it was a great price. read more

Stayed here for the weekend, the owner and staff were super nice and helpful. We had a bug group of people and needed extra parking, the staff called around to different hotels and found us extra overnight parking. The rooms are true to the pictures in the website. Only wish there was a blow dryer and a full length mirror in the rooms. The food is decent and the 15% off for staying at the Inn was a plus. I would definitely stay here again. read more

We went there for dinner last night. We usually like to go and watch the fire works, this time we decided to have dinner. The staff is very friendly and it's a clean place. It was not extremely busy because we got a table on the 2nd floor and we enjoyed the fire works from there. I had a frozen margarita which was ok. The appetizer was the sample plater, it was ok. I ordered the shrimp with stuffing. It was ok. Next time I'll try other restaurants. I don't think I'm going back. read more

Came here before a show at the ballroom casino. If weather was nicer, this spit would be perfect. They have a great deck on the 2nd floor. We sat at a hightop near the bar. The only downdide to the seating is it is a little cramped. Had Chris as our server. He was very good. Checked in often enough to give us space but to ensure we had refills, ask about food, etc. Had calamari and nachos. Both decent-nothing spectacular. My wife enjoyed her mussels and I liked my buffalo chicken wrap. Prices are fair. I would definitely return if back in area. read more

Crab cakes are out of this world. Scallop plate is small but the scallops are decent size and fresh. Blue Moon advertised as a draft with orange garnish, but delivered as a bottle, slightly disappointed about that. Perfect for a weekend getaway. We went to Hampton Beach this past weekend for a concert at the Casino Ballroom. Despite the seemingly negative reviews of this hotel, I booked it back in February. This was the perfect place to stay! rooms are reasonably priced and literally right next door to the Casino Ballroom. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that, depending which room you are in, you'll be woken up at 5am to the clanging of glass bottles being picked up by the garbage truck, and the ruckus of early morning deliveries to the hotel and surrounding businesses. But other than that the food is good and it has an amazing bar with those fruity drinks you'd want on a beach vacation. And did I mention it's right across from the beach! Great views if you dine on the top balcony floor. Rooms were okay sized, just big enough for 2 adults for the weekend, and all the essentials included. Maids were there to clean the rooms daily, and all around staff was great. Needless to say, I would recommend this hotel to anyone heading to da beach :) read more

Beautiful place and located in the perfect area. Right on the main strip next to a convenient store and massive arcade. Right across the street from a beautiful beach area with a playscape for the kids to go on. The staff was very accommodating. We got there around 10 am and they were able to still provide to us our parking pass for the beach even though check in time wasn't until the afternoon. The woman called me around 1 and left a voicemail letting me know that our room was ready. The room was a good enough size and very cool with the a/c which was nice because it was so hot. There was a bathroom and refrigerator in the room as well. We will surely be back. read more

This was our second choice after the first hotel in Hampton screwed up our reservation. After checking in and parking the car, we walked back to the hotel and settled in. Room wasn't too bad. The bathroom is extremely small. 20 minutes later we had a knock at the door. The front desk girl and another guest were outside our door. After staring at us for an awkward moment she asked my boyfriend what his name was. He had just given her his name when he checked in. We were told by the front desk girl that "he", not sure who "he" is, switched our rooms and that we were in the wrong room. We packed everything back up and went to the desk to get the keys to our correct room. We walked down the hall, found the room, opened the door and saw that someone was staying in the super tiny room. They had clothes everywhere and it smelled awful! We walk back to the front desk and she again asks my boyfriend for his name. She picks up a piece of paper and says "You booked your room for yesterday". Not only would we never book a room for a Friday because he only has every other weekend off, but she then said again that we booked for the day before and we didn't show up. Obviously we didn't show because we booked for Saturday and not Friday! She then said that all the rooms were booked and that she would call around for another room. We left while she was on the phone because we both knew everything else was booked! So disappointed! We only get one weekend a month to spend it together and it was completely ruined twice! We were traveling in late September and got into a horrible motel. We went looking for dinner and the Boardwalk was open so we just tried it. Food was great, service great and the staff was beyond fantastic! We told them our story and they offered us a room (it was the last week they were open for the season). What a surprise. We decided to have a late lunch and we tried this place. We went upstairs and even though we don't drink, we opt to sit at the bar.what a great choice, the view was amazing looking out to the ocean! Very airy open feeling and very comfortable. Was amazing to look out at the beach and seeing people flying kites, was a great day for it. The bartender was very friendly and he took our orders for lunch and was pleasant to talk with. We had the bacon cheese burgers. Mine was great but the only problem with my girlfriend's burger was that it was undercooked. This is a common issue at all restaurants we go to that when you order well done it always comes undercooked. The bartender actually commented to us that he felt the burger came out too quick so he asked her to check it first. We did have it go back and it did come back perfectly cooked (just needed a few more minutes). We will definitely, definitely go back! read more

This place is absolutely awesome. I have been here two times. One time with just my wife and had a stunning view of the ocean from the second floor deck. Recently, went back with my wife kids and my brother and sister's family (10 people total) for lunch on a Sunday and they did not disappoint. Food both times was outstanding and the service was spot on. Our server was extremely patient especially since we had four kids all under the age of six. Ate here last night before a concert at the Casino. The food was only slightly better than inedible. Should have been clued in by an overheard conversation between a waiter and a manager in which they were laughing about a customer food complaint and how they refused to take it off the bill. Stupidly we sat down anyway because we were short on time. Drink service was quick but waited too long for simple food. Ordered what the menu said was lobster stew but it was bisque and was so cold when it was delivered to the table that it must have been taken directly from a refrigerator. Sent it back and it was returned slightly warm. The nachos were supposed to have chicken and guacamole ($4extra) but the chicken was scarce and the guacamole consisted of a very small plastic container. Finally, the onion rings were the frozen kind you buy in the grocery store. We would have been better off with the food court in the arcade. read more
