I read the reviews here and they were either really good or really bad. The bad reviews seemed so…read morefar fetched that I decided to give them a chance. BAD IDEA. They diagnosed my outboard last year and told me that I had a bad cylinder. They said that it would cost more money to fix it than it was worth and would replace it with a 150 hp outboard they were about to repossess. I waited patiently for 3 months. I called and called but no one answered the phone. I drove over on a weekend and could not find my boat. I finally had to take time out of my day to go during the day where I found someone who had no clue that my boat was even there. My boat had a tree that fell on it and it was neglected. My insurance didn't cover it because it was in possession of the mechanic. I got some bs story that a former employee took all of their records and $25,000 in cash. The crazy receptionist began to cry. They offered to look at my boat again for free. They told me they weren't going to fix it because if the transom but that's not what they told me last year. They also didn't bother to fill up the tire and the tire popped. Then they had the nerve to put a lock on it and I had to prove that I had paid for the diagnosis from last year. The best part was that I took it to another mechanic who said I had a bad coil. They replaced it for $300 and it's worked fine ever since. BAD PEOPLE, BAD BUSINESS, BAD SHOP. I would sue them but they wouldn't have the money if I won because any money they get goes to pay for their Volvo and meth.

He was very considerate to my timing due to a fishing tournament as well as being very maticulous with my boat on how the work was done. Very well diversed in Minn Kota products and accessories as he is a certified and authorized dealer and service shop. Thanks Neil for all you did. Will surely be back again and send all my buddies.

We told them we needed it in 20 days or so for a trip. They apparently replaced a lot of parts on the generator but couldn't get it to work before we had to leave for our trip. So who knows whether those parts were necessary. They didn't even start working on the inspection or replacing missing bulbs until the last possible day. They said it was ready to pick up but when we got there, it wasn't. They had just done the inspection and were replacing lights. They identified several things that would have been good to fix, but they didn't have the ability to fix them. It would have been nice if they told us these issues with enough time to take the RV elsewhere to get fixed. They had us waiting at their shop for 2 hours, even until after close, while they finished working on lights. As we sat there patiently but getting increasingly perturbed, they eventually gave us a Bass Pro Shop giftcard and said they hoped we'd leave them a good review. The next morning when we set off for our trip, we no longer had interior battery power at all, and would continue to have no battery power until we finally got it fixed at a competitor. That meant no interior lights at all while we drove. We paid Shoreline over $2000 and basically all we had to show for it was a few fixed exterior lights, and few new generator parts for a generator that still didn't run, and a broken electrical system for our cross-country trip. Epic waste of money. Instead of bribing customers with a $25 Bass Pro Shop card, they should try improving their service, hiring mechanics who can fix generators (or declining to work on them), and not waiting until the very last hours to do a job. We will not be going back and have luckily found another place to take our RV for service.
