The bill came to $863.13 or $432 per jetski!! For an oil change which takes 3.5 quarts of oil and a filter! The parts came to about $112, the rest was for labor at $170 an hour plus shop supplies, hazardous waste charge (oil), and credit card fee (3.5%). And by the way, it took this Master mechanic (at $170 he must top-of-the line) 1.5 hours to do this oil change! Incidentally, I looked at an old 2023 bill, when the exact same mechanic changed the oil in the exact same jetskis and it took him 1.2 hours per jetski then. And of course the hourly rate was a lot cheaper back then too (37% cheaper), but it's different ownership now when Full Throttle took over from Highland Lakes Seadoo. I guess they had to increase the time the mechanic worked on these jetskis or raise the labor rate even more to get more money in, but how much more than $170 per hour are you going to charge for a guy doing a basic oil change? Or perhaps the mechanic is slowing down in his old age, who knows? My advice? Perhaps it pays to look for a different place. By the way, all the positive reviews (with the exception of one) are about Highland Lakes Seadoo, which were the previous owners. I liked that place. The new ownership has turned greedy.

This job required a removal of seats in the rear and taking off the risers. Quite a job. Well I was near completion and snap, I broke the mounting bracket for the actuator. The "bracket" is one piece and includes the full transom plate. Yep, this repair will require an engine removal. Well beyond my abilities for sure. When I started this project on Tuesday before the July 4th weekend, I was hoping to get the boat out for the weekend, that seemed bleak at this point. Anyway after 5-6 calls to familiar repair facilities with most asking me to call them back after the 4th to discuss scheduling sometime in August, if they could get the part, which seemed unlikely. I the called Brian and told him my situation. Brian said he thought he had the part in-stock and had a window that he could get this job done. Brian called me back within 30 minutes of initial phone call and informed he had the parts and if I brought the boat in on Wednesday, I would have the boat by the weekend. They even beat that and called me at 10:00 Thursday morning to tell me the boat was ready to pick-up after a thorough check and test. McNeill Marine offered excellent customer service, quick response and delivered on-time at a reasonable cost. I will be coming back and telling all my friends about McNeill Marine.

So summer comes around, boat still hasn't sold. So my partner on the boat and I decided we wanted to pick the boat up and keep it. Pat seemed aggravated by this and told me he had all these customers in different states interested, but no commitment from anyone. I asked what it would take to pay him for everything and get the boat back. ($1,420.00) I paid that with no problem because I trusted him. Well I get home and the three speakers he installed for 375$ weren't even wired in and were 45$ speakers on amazon. I called Pat and told him the issue, which he thought he would resolve with cussing and yelling as well as hanging up on me three times. I decided to let this shady gentlemen keep the money and I'm moving on to avoid confrontation. Pat is a complete SCAMMER In my bill it clearly states the 300$ I paid for the storage fees. So there was nothing free about it . AND I told you everything about the boat and asked if you wanted to get in it and look it over with me in which you said no, it looks good from down here. I had no problem paying for repairs until I was ripped off. So I don't know where you get FREE And I never didn't want you to fix anything , I paid you 400$ to replace a vinyl strip... On top of that I cut my price 5 thousand dollars and you couldn't sell it. So don't say I was using you as a free storage facility .
