This was an amazing spot. Very chill & relaxing. I loved all the decorations and The outdoor bars and the views. My friend has told me about the awesome cocktails here so we tried the Pumpkin espresso martini and it was excellent. Highly recommend it. It looks like they rotate their cocktail menu, so you should check it out. Several boats came in and enjoyed the prop bar. Great views on the top deck as well. I'd come back.

Love the waterside beachy vibe, Outdoor games, large covered patio and relaxed dog friendly atmosphere. They had corn hole , basketball, and beach ball beer pong They had two different food vendors, one had burger type food, one had seafood. I had the sushi style tuna served over seaweed salad and we also had the chicken fingers and fries. We enjoyed the outdoor music and watching the people come in and out on boats and wave runners. You can also rent boats from here. I would I recommend this place for a casual lunch or dinner or for drinks, games and music.

What a cool spot! Feels like a tropical vacation. Many tap options including cocktails on tap. Highly recommend the Lucky One vodka lemonade. Dangerously good. Coconut shrimp at a must. I'd pass on the tacos, very bland.

This place has so much potential to be better. It's right on the water, family friendly vibes, and also dog friendly. However, there were so many things wrong with this visit... let me explain: 1. NO FILLED WATER BOTTLES Okay, I get it that people will smuggle in alcohol, but there needs to be exceptions. I had a 64oz WATER BOTTLE. You can SMELL alcohol. They asked me to dump my 64oz water bottle or show them that it was already empty. I couldn't have proved it was water by letting them smell it? I JUST FILLED IT. And I'm also on a non-alcohol journey. This was quite unfair to me. To prove a point, I literally chugged 64oz of water in front of them. And I said before walking in, "if this were alcohol, you better be calling an ambulance right about now" 2. NO GLUTEN FREE I am also gluten sensitive and thought "hey, it's right on the water, there MUST be shrimp cocktail or healthy seafood options right?" Boy was I wrong. EVERYTHING IS FRIED. IN FLOUR. I decided not to starve and just got cheese curds for $10. Not worth my reaction. 3. BARELY ANY OPTIONS/ CURRENT OPTIONS ARE EXPENSIVE The amount of disappointment in terms of price was astonishing. My sister and her husband got a lobster roll that was $25 which sounded like a deal, but as people who have eaten lobster roll before, half of it tasted like fake lobster... expect to pay ALOT for cheap, greasy fried foods and not be full. In fact, just come here to enjoy the ambience. Don't even bother eating here, unless if they decide to upgrade their food scene.

Pretty damn cool spot. The Margarita on tap was fantastic. Sliders were bigger than your typical sliders n the sauce that comes with the cheese curds would taste good on a tire. Nice draft beer selection and felt real swanky arriving by boat. Once in a while a social worker gets to live the high life. Cheers to you and the island.

MANAHAWKIN: words and photos do not do The Boatyard any justice; you simply have to visit and see for yours and your pup's selves how beautiful and fun it is! A fully outdoor beer garden, leashed dogs are allowed with no restrictions! There is so much you can do here: play basketball and corn hole, get a drink at the bar (including canned cocktails!), order food from the 2 food trucks, chill under an umbrella in a beautifully designed garden, walk along the marina, or check out the boat under the tent! There's a lot of tables and really cool bartenders (Hi Chelsea!). We met so many people who gave us dog friendly suggestions in the area including our followers: Kathy, Brad, and Tuck, the cute golden retriever!

What a great venue! We walked over from Ship Bottom via the path or you can access by boat or car. It was so nice to be able to sit outside by the water with music and a great breeze. Everything comes in a can - beer, mixed drinks , wine. You can also get beer on tap and there is a pretty good selection all the way around. Food is available from two food trucks - one with seafood and one with burgers and hot dogs and some sides. It's dog and kid friendly and you can play some hoops or have a game of corn hole. We brought our pup and they gave us a bowl of ice water for her -- love it! Fast and friendly service. I would stick to the beer -- unless you're a fan of canned wine in plastic cups or mixed drinks from a can.

Drinks and atmosphere (and the water views) were great, but I wish they had more food options available.

Great place with good food and nice ambience. Can be a bit pricey though sometimes just wish they'd lower some prices for food.

Sat at the Prop Bar. Was ignored for 20 minutes, the place wasn't busy, and there was plenty of staff. I left.

Went on Saturday. Received poorly cooked, very overpriced food. Sent back large portion of order. Will never eat there again.

The vibe is super chill and relaxed and everyone was very friendly to us from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. They also have a great outdoor backyard area! I would have loved to sit out there if it wasn't 100 degrees the day we went! We will certainly be back for that alone. The menu is super enticing. We literally wanted to order one of everything but finally settled on the tuna poke and the broiled seafood platter with the chowder fries. The tuna was fresh and flavorful and a very generous portion. The broiled seafood platter was the star of the show for us. I loved getting to sample a little bit of everything. The crab cake and the scallops were the standouts for me. I could have eaten a platter of those alone. And don't even get me started on the chowder fries. Fresh hot fries with a mound of clam chowder on top with pieces of bacon. Literally what's not to like? The chowder here is one of my favorites. It's made with pork roll and long hots - a true Jersey chowder and a more unique take on the traditional. Terrace Tavern also has a fantastic cocktail menu. There's a huge variety and truly something for everyone. The Pink Flamingo was excellent - fresh watermelon juice, basil, st Germaine, and Prosecco. It was the perfect summer drink on a hot day. We will definitely be returning to try some more of the menu!

Ate lunch in the Back Yard. Excellent wait staff. Good food - crab legs, clams, buffalo chicken…read morerolls, Bavarian pretzel, Jersey Cuban sandwich, oysters, and cocktails. Fun place! Definitely recommend.
