Once I retrieved my makeup item I realized the line to the registers was very long do I looked for one of o Sephora employees so that I could pay with my credit card which I have done every visit prior to this visit. I was told by the employee that paying at the register was the only option. I was shocked since I saw what I would estimate 30 to 40 employees walking around the store of which many had nothing to do. Disappointed with the option to pay I returned the product to the shelf and which visit another location. What a disappointment.

No prices displayed anywhere because he'll change them based on who's purchasing. He charged someone in front of me $1 for a dappen dish, then told me it cost $5. This has happened more than once with different items; and if you ask local techs, they'll likely have similar stories. If you ask for prices as you shop (which means constantly returning to the checkout counter), he makes it clear that you're bothering him. He doesn't want you to open any polish bottles, but most of their swatch books (also at the counter) have only 1/4 of the colors that they're actually selling. They don't have displays/testers for those missing swatches either. You're forced to just look at bottles and hope for the best while he monitors every move you make from the counter. There's an inconsistently enforced "no large bags" policy with no standard for what "large" means. I used the same bag for 6+ months that's only big enough to hold an iphone and keys. Some days I was allowed to bring it in and other days I wasn't. Meanwhile, other shoppers arrived with larger totes and he didn't bat an eye. You'd have to be willfully ignorant to assume the best case scenario here; that the owner treats customers based on his mood. Sadly, the obvious trend is more malicious: the owner engages with customers and adjusts prices based on ethnicity. If you're not Vietnamese, you're probably in for an uncomfortable and expensive shopping trip. It's a real shame because the rest of the staff (noticeably younger folks) is welcoming, friendly, and helpful! But I just can't recommend this supply in good conscience knowing that most people will feel discriminated against. The large stock just isn't worth it. Don't shop here unless you're in a life or death scenario (so....never).

I walked quickly to the store's entrance and was greeted by Eyna (I'm pretty sure that's not her name but I forgot how to spell it)! She is super nice and definitely didn't not give me that "we're closing soon so hurry up" vibe. She is also an aesthetician, so you know she can steer you in the right direction for skin and hair care! I browsed around and finally got a black scrunchy I've been meaning to replace. The one good one I had I gave to a young girl on one of my recent plane rides. I found a nice one and discovered this store carries a bunch of bath and body products so you know I'm going to be coming back!! They have Korean skincare which is my jam, and they even had Treehut products. I swiped a bottle of the shower gel because I've been wanting to try that, too. A short but sweet review is that Lather makes wonderful products that are naturally based and have the functionality & quality you'd expect from other high end product lines but using ingredient lists you can feel good about and trust. I absolutely love this brand and will continue to be a customer, as I've tried almost all of the products they make and we are lucky in AZ to have a brick and mortar location since there aren't many. I also purchase products online from them when I don't have time to stop in the store. Their loyalty program is really great with accumulating points that translate to discounts on purchases and special VIP sale events. I love the smell of the products and when you step into the storefront it's beautifully set up and smells very nice.
