Shout out to Jere who did an amazing job and had amazing people skills!!! She was my ONLY reason for buying more than what I actually came for which were candles. She took her time with me in picking out fragrances and holders. This was EXCELLENT customer service!!! There's plenty of parking on site as well as more shopping and eating nearby. I don't really shop here unless I'm in the market for candles and car fragrances so I'm glad that I stopped! She...Jere will be Manager in no time at this rate and should teach others to engage more with customers and not to stand around chatting amongst themselves. Needed some more hand sanitizers and had time before an event. This location is near my job as well so timing was perfect for me to stop in. The store is festively decorated and has so many wonderful items to choose from, which is always a good thing. The holiday scents are my absolute favorites and I stock up on them as much as I can so I can enjoy them longer. I feel like a VIP each time I go into any Bath & Body Works store because the employees are very helpful, knowledgeable, & friendly. One of the many reasons I am a return customer. read more

I absolutely love this Bath and Bodyworks location! Out of all of them I feel most comfortable here. The ladies are my age (not fresh out of college) and I find I have a lot to talk about/have a lot in common with them. The store location itself is quieter than most. I'm just not a huge fan of a super crowded store. Sometimes crowded stores make me anxious and because of the demographic and also the sparse amount of customers, I feel very at ease. I tried to exchange something I had purchased at another store and they were not able to complete the exchange. However, at this particular location they could. I don't know what the difference was. The location on talking stick Way has moved from the south side of the road to the north side. We've been to the new location and didn't have a good experience. With only four customers in the store, the employees still managed to stand within 2 feet of every customer, and one employee pushed past me to stock items in a shelf that I was browsing. The associates made us uncomfortable - we would've purchased more if there would've been a better environment. read more

So, this was my second order for online pickup. The first visit I had no hiccups, except that it took about 10 minutes for them to find my bag because of the number of orders they had been receiving. However, yesterday was not the same experience, and I have to say, I was disappointed. The original order was placed on November 22nd online, and I had planned to pickup on Friday after work. Black Friday or not. So I stopped by and left the store in minutes. The items purchased were a gift, but to my surprise, when I pulled the body sprays out of the bag, one was half empty and opened (they should be closed and not able to push down), and the other had the infamous "TRY ME" sticker on it! Unbelievable!! So then I'm like great. I have to go back in the morning, when I should be watching the Ohio state game! I showed up right at 10am this morning (Saturday) when they opened. Rebecca opened the door and I asked for the manager. She called her and I presented my bag (6 items) that I had purchased on the 22nd. Rebecca came to the front and said, "Ooh my Gosh, let me get new ones for you." The manager said,"well, we were really busy yesterday." Which, I get. However, i didn't order them yesterday but Ok. They made the order right in the end. But I expect different from a company, than getting 2 used bottles that I had ordered 3 days prior. read more

I stopped by this store for the first time today to get the Mother's Day special buy $30 in products to receive a spring tote with 9 free items inside for $35 (over $100 value!). I was greeted by the front door lady and stopped to wear a mask. I forgot being on the reservation they're pretty strict with the mask guidelines. No worries though, she was super sweet about it and guided me to another lady who helped me pick out some body sugar scrubs and more wall flower scents for my home. I was in and out in about 15-20 minutes (record for me since I could spend forever in here!). The store wasn't too crowded and super clean. Thank you BABW! read more

It is always a shot in the dark whether you get good customer service or not is this shop. Sometimes it's a somewhat pleasant experience, and sometimes it's like today. While checking out, the individual appeared annoyed that I would not provide my phone #. Then she seemed too busy talking to coworkers to even thank me for my purchase. I buy a lot of candles from Bath and Bodywork's, usually on line but have also shopped other stores in Phoenix. both the Colanade and Christown stores are horrible with customer service. the people at these stores are very unhelpful. I was so glad when I started shopping at Pavillions location. they are wonderful. Everyone in that store is very helpful. But there is a young lady named Hunter that is awesome. She has such great energy. She loves the products and she is so great with all customers. Very knowledgeable about all product. if you live in the greater Phoenix area do yourself a favor and only shop at this location. Ask for Hunter and you can't go wrong! read more

Guess what..... I'm a dude. And I love this place. The sales gals are very friendly and don't treat you funny because you are a 'man' in a 'women's' store. (Although a lot of the customers do) I really like the soaps, the shower soaps and the counter foamy stuff. I sure hope they reopen soon, I am running low... PS I don't do the "Men's line". The manager at this location is awful. I was in today looking for some Christmas gifts and decided to try out some of the men's cologne testers they have. Since this store is on the reservation they still require masks to be worn. Kind of hard to smell testers with a mask on, so I thought it would be easy to just spray some paper test strips they provide and step outside (it's an outdoor mall) in the fresh air, take my mask off and see what they smell like. After I did this a few times the manager comes over to me and tells me not to keep going in and out of the store as it affects her average sale (and her monthly bonus I'm assuming). She said the sensor on the door records me and reflects on her "numbers". This is super unprofessional and especially around the holiday season when you may just want to browse or window shop. I used to be a manager of a retail vitamin store in a mall and I understand corporate incentives for managers but never would you ever approach a customer like she did. After reading some other reviews on here for this location with people having issues with returns and other manager bonus related things I definitely see the pattern and will not ever return to this location (unless I have a return that is :) The rest of the staff was friendly though, but the manager ruined it for me. The sale was buy 3 get 3 free and I was just about finished picking out my 6 items but ended up just walking out with nothing. I would highly recommend if you are in the Scottsdale area to take your money to the fashion square mall store. read more

Ok. I had a bad day. The store is still super, clean, well organized, run by friendly and helpful staff and chock full of wonderful smelling products. I love the sales on seasonal products and the candles in this place are incredible. Great deals on signature products and hand soaps for days. I always wondered why this store was never busy and always had items in stock the other stores do not. I finally know why, it's because of the tall indian girl who works there and has NO people skills at all. Every time I go to this store she makes me sorry I spent my money at a store that has such horrible customer service. She should not be working with the public and is losing this company's customers every day she does. I will not return to this or any other Bath & Body Works. It overpriced fragrances and is probably bad for your skin instead of helping it. I'll buy REAL lotions in the future. read more

I stopped in here because a friend of mine always raves about the great service she always receives from Sheila. I was lunching with this friend so we popped in. She's right! I expressed to Sheila a problem I was experiencing with a couple of my plug ins. She gave me some advice which I am trying now. I think I have noticed an improvement which is great. Then she helped me with a men's gift. After that, I asked her about the new " water" line. She had me try some of the body lotion and it seemed so nice. I got that and a few other items. I love her energy! She was very passionate and knowledgeable! It was a fun time shopping. Sheila was very attentive even when this family kept going in and out of the store. They were getting on my nerves they were going in and out so many times! But Sheila and the other young lady never skipped a beat. I would recommend this location plus it's so easy to access.
