There's a private space in the back that can be reserved for meetings or meet ups which I found interesting. They even have a "Wemby's picks" area! The prices are comparable to other bookstores. I checked it out and it has a smell similar to the Old Tunnel on the way to Fredericksburg for a moment I felt that I am out in nature. The entrance is full of birds I stood there for over 5 minutes. When I was looking at the hair & bath products to the left of the register, I over heard what I assume is the owner, and a customer, talking about shooting at squirrels with a BB gun when they would go for the bird feeder. I was flabbergasted. And horrified. I wanted to write a review & even send a letter to express my dismay but I didn't want to disparage a small business. So I decided to just not support any more. Time went by & as I grew with forgiveness, I ended up coming back to not only buy the usual premium blend bird seed, but have brought out-of-towner friends & family in which they purchased things from there, as well as greeting cards for others on special occasions. If anything, we had friendly small talk upon check out in the handful of times I've purchased from them. So not too sure why this was never offered to me.
