I had seen the storefront many, many times over my years coming to town but had never gone inside so I popped in with her. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. They're a teeny shop but they have a really wonderfully curated collection of crystals and rocks, both small and some as big as the whole of your hand. There's also a fairly large selection of incense and oils, jewelry and decorative objects, books, and even a small amount of clothing. My cousin recently participated in her first craft fair selling her handmade jewelry and she dropped a nice chunk of her earnings here on some really beautiful stones for her collection! If you're into the metaphysical or just want some lovely things to smell or look at, be sure to pop in and visit them! I will definitely make it a point to stop in and visit every time I'm in town from now on.

I had several books in mind when I last shopped here, but only 1 of them was in stock. The salesperson did help me track it down, though, after I couldn't find it on the shelves. I think this location might be smaller than other B&N stores that I've been to. It always baffles me that they don't offer more coupons and discounts since I can easily hop on Amazon and request the same books for much less, but I consider the knowledge that I'm always paying more to shop here just a fee for my hope that brick and mortar bookstores continue to exist.

I love when you walk in you are greeted with the 100 Banned Books to peruse through. I love a business that highlights banned books, as all booksellers should be doing this year. I loved all the knickknacks (stickers, bags, etc) they had to shop from. The kind bookseller was helpful when I asked for help. They greeted us warmly, then simply allowed us the freedom to explore at our own pace. On a Thursday afternoon I was looking for a change of scenery and popped in to work from the cafe. The line was long and the pastry display was pretty depleted, but to me that means the food must be epic. It was busy when I arrived. I placed an order for a Baklava, the featured sandwich, and an iced coffee. The Baklava was amazing. The featured sandwich came with a bag of chips, and the iced coffee was good. Overall it was the perfect spot to pop into and work for a few hours.
