My husband had a vintage leather bomber jacket which the collar was looking rough. He took the jacket to Netto to see if the jacket collar could be repaired somehow. Without hesitation a solution was planned and the jacket is better looking than before. The collar was replaced nicely with leather and it looks like it was the original collar. The craftsmanship was great, turnaround time: great, price: great! Fast forward a week later...leather boots were taken in for heel repair. Picked up boots after 2 days and they're perfect. So happy to discover this shop and look forward to having other jobs done so professionally.

I've repaired two pairs of shoes here and both took about a week. Which is not bad when you realize it's all being done by hand. And the prices are seriously not bad when again you remember it's all done by hand. 75 for new soles on a pair of Birkenstocks and 45 for a pair of keens that needed to be re-glued together. Will definitely bring any other shoes I need fixed here and will recommend to others.

I had my eye on these beautiful black leather boots for 2 years before I finally bought them. They were comfortable, but much to my disappointment, the soles had zero traction and I was certain I'd slip and fall if I wore them out of the house. Al re-soled them for around $35 (if memory serves) during the week of Thanksgiving in 2025 in around 3 days. The soles look seamless and no one would be able to tell that they weren't the originals. They have solid traction on the ground and I am happy to report that I have not slipped once.

He diagnosed my broken my right elbow, and I hadn't told him that I broke my right elbow. so he built two completely different orthotics for me to put in a pair of hiking shoes that are flats he does not like flat shoes. He builds heel if you have a flat Shoe. So I had to wait two weeks he cut them for my shoes while I waited and put them. When I stood up I'm about an inch and a half taller and I feel like I wanna run. I'm 66 years old. Is it expensive to have custom inserts made? Yes. And I am also waiting for a pair of custom shoes. I noticed the incredible difference with the orthotic he built on the first visit. The shoes that I'm wearing aren't the most appropriate shoe for every day wear. If properly cared for they will last nearly a lifetime. They are just nearly indestructible. I have been buying Red Wings for years. I easily have a dozen pair of various pairs of shoes and boots by now. In my experience , all of the RW stores are always a pleasure to deal with. If they don't have what you want in stock, they can get it in a couple of days. On the very rare occasion when I have had an issue, the customer service, both locally and at corporate in Minnesota, has always been enthusiastic to resolve the matter 100% to my satisfaction. He was more than happy to offer me $30 off of my next pair of shoes.
