Visiting BOP had been on the list since they opened in Windsor. We finally made it on Feb 21, 2026. First impressions as soon as you enter: you're welcomed enthusiastically by the team. Long space with ample of seating options and great natural light. You'll find people working, chilling, catching up, etc. The vibe is chill. The artwork on the counter elevation is beautiful. Now moving on to what we ordered: * chai (iced with gulab jamun sweetener) - their chai blend is amazing. I usually prefer not to try chai lattes/ chai because hardly any cafes get the taste of chai right. But the chai at BOP is very close to Indian chai taste. * iced latte with oat milk and gulab jamun sweetener - I usually don't like how oat milk overpowers the taste of an iced latte but for whatever reason I didn't have that issue with the iced latte at BOP. It was really nice. * porridge of the day with marmalade and cookie butter - delicious. We're excited to return. read more

I was a bit disappointed when I heard the news that Bop Coffee on Pratt Street closed. However, my frown quickly turned the right side up, when I discovered they opened a new location in Windsor. Bop Coffee's new location is spacious and bright, with plenty of large windows. At Bop they roast their own coffee beans, which is what makes them stand out. They also offer some in house made syrups. The space inside offers bar seating, comfy seating, as well as tables and chairs. In addition to coffee and tea, there were some cakes and muffins. You may also get sandwiches and bowls. On this occasion I got a Salted Maple Latte. My guest got a cappuccino. The salted maple syrup is made in house. My latte was presented in a beautiful terracotta mug that perfectly matches the aesthetic inside. This was delightful, so frothy and rich. The salted maple was warm, earthy and not at all salty. The cappuccino was also a winner. I wish all the success to Bop and their team in their new location. read more

So happy for the BOP getting their beautiful space! Right in the heart of South Windsor and a block from the train station. I tried the dirty orange juice with espresso, orange juice, and sweet cream. The espresso definitely hits you and I wish there was a bit more sweet cream but it was really good! I could see myself sitting outside and sipping in nice weather. The salted caramel cheesecake was AMAZING! I need about 16 of those ASAP. Excited for Jack and the team! read more

Came here as a part of the Hartford coffee crawl. I Ordered an iced coffee , chocolate chip cookie and a fruit salad . Fruit salad was a little disappointing only came with strawberries ,honeydew melon and mint . Coffee was good but They did run out of cream so I had to get my coffee black. Staff were friendly. I finally stopped by Bop Cafe and it's easily my new favorite neighborhood spot. The staff made a concerted effort to snub us good and proper last time we were in. Standing at the counter as the barista walked by 6 or 7 times in silence, I guess our tip last time wasn't big enough. After waiting 10 minutes and all the other customers had long since departed we left and got brown water elsewhere. read more

This is a quirky fun new place. They've been doing a "soft opening" as they get to know the neighborhood and slowly grow their menu. I went by on the first afternoon they were serving food along with beverages. I ordered a chai from the very friendly staff at the counter. This is not the "chai latte" you get from so many places that is basically steamed milk with some vague spices in it. It is the real deal...black tea with notes of cardamom and cinnamon and some other spices I couldn't identify, with some steamed milk and lightly sweetened! Yum! The play list that day was a fun retro mix of 70's smooth rock. I've since also had the opportunity to try their signature scones ... cardamom and rose. I generally don't care for floral notes in my food, but these were tender and flakey and really delicious!
