FAVORITE SPIRITS SHOP IN ALL OF FRANKLIN/WILCO!!!!!!! I tried a CBD (no THC) beverage at a local restaurant (my leg was cramping as I was walking in/i am very active at the gym). I slept so well that night and needed to buy some of these drinks! I drove all over town even in some smoke shops and liquor stores and no one could get it for me. I randomly stopped in here and explained my dilemma! They said they would order for me but I didn't hold my breath. To my surprise I got a call saying my order was ready! Amazing! They already sold out again when I bought the last four pack. A couple days later ANOTHER TEXT FROM THEM SAYING ITS READY! Only to find out they dont' take returns. Nowhere does it say this in the store (no signs, no notices, etc) and it doesn't say this on the receipt either. love the shop but this made me not want to buy anything else there. Best bottle shop around hands down. By far the best selection of CBD, hemp derived THC, and other non-alcoholic options. Literally a quarter of their store is dedicated to non-a. It's not only 5 stars for that but the place has the best selection of higher end alcohol options I've come across in a long time. Those reasons + the folks who work there make this the only spot I shop when I'm home. Steve is the manager of the place. Won't find a nicer guy and that trickles down to his folks. Great staff, great service, great selection. Oh and they have rewards so give them your phone number and start stacking up the rewards to get 10% off. I think I jinxed myself. After writing a glowing review, I'm having to revise it. The Bottle Shop still has an amazing aesthetic and excellent selection, but shortly after I posted, all the tasting events I'd come to enjoy in the evening after work dried up, but more importantly, the service took a dive. The person who has been in staffing the store the past four times I've been in is completely disengaged and buried in their phone when not checking customers out. The individual who used to be there all the time, was so helpful, gave great recommendations, and regularly engaged with patrons is no longer there. read more

Horrible customer service!!! Bought a bottle of Cristal last night after seeing it was available on their website. Website showed picture having the matching box with purchase. Arrived to pick up bottle in the box this morning. The woman that greeted me upon entry acted bothered to assist me. She handed me a bag with only the bottle and no matching box. I asked where the box was. The employee was annoyed with my question and stated "I didn't package the order, I don't know". Her attitude was, it is what it is. This is my favorite liquor store in the area. Today we asked one of the employees if they had a specific bottle and she said they didn't but went out of her way to get me a form so they could special order it for me at no extra charge. First time visiting the store great selection and nice appearance. I would have given 5 stars, but the customer service was very poor this evening. I asked for a brand of wine, and the older gentleman completely ignored me he was not assisting anyone. The younger gentleman was assisting someone, which I didn't recognize, but he answered my question. The older gentleman requested the younger gentleman's customer to come to his side, which I was standing. Biased and avoiding behavior. Customer Service trumps all not a great experience. read more

If I could give a zero star, I would. Don't go here unless you like to be treated badly. I'm visiting my daughter from Texas. This was the closest liquor store that popped up in Google. The bad experience was with the one older, short man with piercings and tattoos. The younger man was pleasant. The short man was Arrogant and racist! Having to see the accelerated prices is one thing.... This guy, whomever he is supposed to be to that store, provided no service to me. I was looking at the different wines; zinfandel and Sauvignon Blanc. Never was I asked if greeted. There were 3 other people in the store I never heard him tell them he needed to see their identification. I was there with my daughter. As soon as I got to the counter, he wanted to see my daughters id. I was the one buying, not her. Because she didn't have her driver's license in her, he told her to leave. His tone, body language was uncalled for. My money helps in income and brick and mortar. I will be filing a complaint. read more

Nice addition to the growing Mallory Lane / McEwen intersection in Cool Springs. I don't drink but my wife does, so I headed in here to pick her up something she'd like. The staff was quite knowledgeable, so after giving them a couple of things she drinks, they were able to make some recommendations that she later really enjoyed. The Bottle Shop carries a wide range of Kermit Lynch picks. I have never gone wrong with a Kermit Lynch selection. Small, comfortable, a surprising variety of wines for such a small space. Easy. Friendly. My favorite wine shop in Cool Springs. I love their big friendly dogs, their tasting bar, the eclectic selection of vermouths, bitters, Belgian beers, French reds, Malbecs, and Grenache blends. Their accoutrements are smart, appealing, almost like found objets. The Bottle Shop has that neighborhood vibe tucked right into hipsterville by WhoFo. My favorite wine gift container is a cylinder of smooth white birch with a leather strap. A perfect gift for your favorite wine-loving architect. My boys love the funky selection of throw back soft drinks - pineapple, grape. Sometimes, when I want something new and don't have a starting place, I go in and tell them what I like and ask for guidance. I've never been disappointed. I love this place! I've only been to Franklin 3 times, but I've been to the Bottle Shop all 3 times because my experience has always been so positive. I usually walk in with vague requests like, "What's your favorite red with a twist cap (staying in a hotel without a corkscrew) for around $15?" Great location and selection. Maybe it was an off day but I stopped by to purchase my husband a specific bottle of bourbon as a gift. I called first to see if they carry it and the gentleman on the phone was very friendly but when I got there, two associates were just chit chatting with each other at the register and not one acknowledged me. I expect at least a hello or welcome, extra points for "can I help you find something" but I got nothing. I stared at the bourbon wall right next to the check out stand and they STILL didn't ask me if I needed help finding something. Thankfully, a different employee (maybe owner?) did eventually pop out around the corner to ask me if I needed help. I didn't feel very appreciated when I checked out, either. read more

Decided to pop in here after leaving Whole Foods to find a few wines to pair with our meals. I honestly expected the prices to be high but they were very reasonable. We asked the gentleman an the counter if he could suggest two wines based on what we were cooking without breaking the bank and he gladly gave us a few reasonable options. The wines went perfectly with our meals! I will definitely be back for their awesome selection cocktail mixers and bitters. They have everything from olives for your martini to lavender bitters for your craft cocktail. Quality product with Terrific service from folks who KNOW the wine. It is so refreshing to find this place right next door to Whole Foods. I have shopped in the Bottle Shop at least once per week for about a month or so and continue to discover some little nugget of fabulousness. Shop is very cute, not too large that you get lost or can't find what you are looking for. However, the sales people knew very little, if any, about wine. One associate was dusting bottles, the other was behind the counter, no one asked if I needed help, nor came up to check on me. The Bottle Shop has a good selecting of wine but they didn't have any listed flavors or good pairing options as some other local stores do... I found it difficult to chose between wines when I just had the name and price to go on. I eventually had to google the two wines to find the requested information on them. This is a great wine store right next to Whole Foods in Franklin. The staff is very friendly, always gives a good recommendation, and stocks some very well-priced bottles.
