We were there on a Wednesday night around 5:30. It took about 12-14 minutes to get the server to take our order. She was rarely visible in the restaurant. Refills were virtually non-existent. After about a half hour the food finally came. Oh, I should mention after 15-20 minutes the server came and said there was only enough soup left for one of the two people in our party that ordered it. The one with soup-and-salad opted to just have a salad. It was a seemingly interminable time to get the bill to pay. I noticed that she never changed the soup/salad to salad only, but after waiting some time and not seeing her around, I finally opted to just sign the credit card slip and leave, we'd been there way too long! Worst Letnes-Brother's restaurant service I've ever experienced. In what has become an every other year tradition, we came here on 12/26 for lunch. We were promptly seated by the bartender and our server did a great job of answering our questions and checking in. We ordered a large (18) order of buffalo wings and a medium (12) order of dill wings. The wings are of good size. The bleu cheese was fairly thick and came with celery. We also shared an order of cajun fries. They didn't have much seasoning on them. BBQ made for a good dipping sauce. An odd heads up, the bathroom sinks are powerful! 7/2/26 @ 7pm - My wife and I came to St. Cloud to visit my 83 year old mom and take her out for a nice meal. We thought we would give Boulder Tap House a try. We were seated almost right away in a booth. Dining room was about half full with a handful of dirty tables around us. Saw three different servers walking around our section. Waited for a server to visit and check in for about 5 minutes. I then started trying to make eye contact with one of them to find out about getting service, none of them really paid us much attention. After about 12 minutes a server showed up saying originally she had our table but was told otherwise from other team members. She apologized and because we had been sitting so long we were ready to order our drinks and meals. My wife and I ordered the cheeseburger (well done) with american cheese & chocolate milkshake combo to share along with some medium sized (12 count) dry rub wings as our appetizer to come out first, server clarified wings first. My mom ordered cheeseburger (medium) with Swiss cheese and a chocolate shake. Waited another 7 minutes and we got out waters, another 4 minutes and out came our cocktails, vodka soda showed up with no requested lemon garnish, this was really going sideways fast. Waited another 15 minutes, while listening to the people in the booth behind us complaining about their entire order that was delivered and was messed up, Neighboring server was apologizing numerous times, he retook a new order all together. Server was talking about comping a good portion of their meal. A couple more minutes went by and our burger showed up, still no dry rub wings out first appetizer (?) Burgers came out, ours with American cheese was rare and moms with swiss was well done, not correct. Going from bad to worse chocolate milkshakes were melted and mostly chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Wings showed up 5 minutes later with our server apologizing about the mix up, thats it we were done. This was the most dysfunctional train wreck we've ever experienced. Knowing the neighboring booth got some satisfaction from getting a few things complementary I asked to speak with the manager. I shared our entire experience and he offered coupons (we passed) to come back for another try. This was an absolute inconsistent circus. We got our bill and left, absolute mess of an experience. We live down closer to Monticello where they just opened a new store, I PRAY that they train these people in Monticello or they will be doomed. Boulder Taphouse served me one of the most unsafe meals I've ever been given at a restaurant. I ordered the Stuffed Tap House Burger, which they proudly say is always cooked medium. What showed up was RAW inside. Not "oops, a little pink." RAW. Cold, mushy, and absolutely inedible unless you're trying to speed-run food poisoning. Mission accomplished -- I spent the entire night throwing up. When I called for a refund, the manager actually argued with me, insisting the burger is always medium and claiming they are not responsible if customers get sick from undercooked meat. That is one of the most unhinged things I've ever heard from someone running a kitchen. So to be clear: * They served raw beef * I got violently ill * They denied responsibility * And acted like this was somehow normal If a restaurant's defense is "we always cook it medium, and if it makes you sick that's your problem," then you should not be eating there. Period. Do not order the burgers. Honestly, don't eat here at all unless you enjoy rolling the dice with food safety and being talked down to afterward. St. Cloud has plenty of restaurants that understand basic cooking temperatures and accountability. This place isn't one of them. Stay far away. read more

So disappointing. Our group of eleven started out our experience with a very rude hostess who didn't want to seat us on the patio which very clearly had plenty of empty seating. Finally after we said we would take our business elsewhere she agreed to seat us on the patio in two separate locations with a strong warning not to move any furniture. We started with beverages and three appetizers. The next sign things were going south was when five out of eleven of our plates for appetizers were obviously dirty. A few with leftover sauce from the previous party. We sent the plates back to be washed. The apps themselves weren't terrible, just not very tasty. But none of us liked our entrees. Nothing was seasoned or cooked well. Our entrees ranged from burgers to bowls. So it wasn't that just one or two of us had bad food. All eleven of us had bad, tasteless food. Our ages ranged from 11 to 70. None of us are picky eaters, it's just that honestly the food was not good and definitely not worth our $300 tab. We did however have a nice server who did a great job with one of our tables. The second table not so much. We didn't complain and we still left a very generous tip. This was for a family get together for a high school graduation celebration that should have been a special memory. So it was a big deal. My advice, try another restaurant. read more

we had the worst service tonight at Boulder in St. Cloud. we went in at 6 pm and ordered cheese curds, pop, burger and boneless wings. it took almost 45 minutes to get our cheese curds at 7:15 we questioned where our food was as the people behind us and a large table next to us all came in after us and they have all gotten their food. we asked for our bill and the manager came over to tell us our food went to the wrong table as our waitress told us the order was missing placed. The manager said would you like a shake we said no we will pay for what we ate and we are leaving he then said do you want a shake when he should of said I will pick up the $17 dollar bill. Glad we stopped by on our way home from the cabin. Cool atmosphere and menu and over 40 beers on tap. Wings were definitely solid, but I wish they were a bit more crispy. Boulder Tap house is a step above your typical chain beer bar. Along side 40 some tap beers to choose from is some damn good bar food fare as well as a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The taps are constantly rotating and changing so I'm not going to get to far into detail. I will say they had a great variety or local or national craft beer, it was carbonated correctly and cold. As far as food. I ordered the "Defibrillator" and this thing was ridiculous (in a good way). Two 1/2 pound patties topped with cheese curds, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, jalapeños, banana peppers, mushrooms, onions and a special sauce. Absolute craziness! They burger was served a mile high showcasing all the wonderful toppings. I literally had to smash it down to eat it. It was good, I ate the whole freaking thing. A temperature preference was not offered and while it wasn't burnt it was well done and I would have preferred a little pink. My sister and I stopped here after throwing axes. We were 1/2 hour before late night happy hour appetizer specials. I ordered chicken ranch Cobb salad with no onions. The server even added no onions to ticket. Guess what I get, tons of chopped up red onions everywhere! I'm able to pick around because as a kid, I always did this. I ate maybe 1/4 of salad. At first I told server about it and then picked more. She came around again and my fingers reeked of onions and was offered to remake. I declined and just asked for it to be taken off my bill. I love the outside of this building. It gives off an up north cabin type look. Inside is nothing fancy. I just felt like it was not very inviting. They were not very busy for a Saturday night at 7. Lots of staff seemed to be hanging out. And the floor was just awful which made me feel like one of these people standing around could have certainly been tidying up the place. We each ordered a burger and honestly these were probably the tiniest burgers I have ever seen. Definitely not even a 1/4 pound. I would say smaller than a McDonald's patty. I also ordered Parmesan fries and they were not what I expected at all. They had cold shredded Parmesan sprinkled on top of them, I guess everywhere else I have had Parmesan fries they were nothing like this. They weren't even good. Our food took what seemed like a long time for how dead the place was. We ordered some Totchos as an appetizer and those came in a decent amount of time. We got there for lunch. The restaurant is catering to sport fans. You can see it on the TVs hanging on the walls. I never saw so many of them ! The decor is comfortable cabin style. We got greeted friendly and asked whether we want the bar or restaurant. We where hungry and got into the dining area. On the first look at the menu list, I thought, that the prices where on the high side. IT was for the most burgers and choices for $ 8.99. But once we saw the size of those supreme burgers, we were hooked and declared ourselves a fan of it. It was worth every bite of it ! I had the "Muenster Bacon Shroom Burger". The names are very original, as well as those HUGE burgers. They are delicious ! Not for a calorie aware person, thought, as someone may guess now ! IT made up for the small amount of fries included. The refills came fast and without asking for it. It was getting slowly full and also the noise level got louder. Some had their children with them, but I wouldnt recommend to take them there. Its closed to a bar and there are not many choices for small children. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Their signature is the tap beer. All in all. We were enough than satisfied, and recommend Boulders Tap House to anyone, who is hungry enough. I would have given 4 stars, but wasnt impressed with all those TVs on the walls. read more
